We took some clothes in to be altered and the tailor said (that we finally understood on the third try) he told us that we had to bring them back after tomorrow. He acted very stressed. We never went back. read more

This is a tough review for me. Hannah is a very sweet person. She listened to my concerns and was very knowledgeable. Her facility is chaotic, but I assumed it was an organized chaos. When she tells you the day it will be ready, don't assume it will be ready before that. Or even before closing time of that day. That's her system and that is fine, just made for a couple trips. The tricky part for me to review is the work itself. I had a dress taken in and hemmed. She did hem it, and did a great job. But I'm not sure she remembered to take it in. Now I should note that I did loose weight between taking the dress in and picking it up, and I did not try it on at her office when picking up. But it was really huge. It was a bridesmaid dress, and the wedding was the next day, so my family and I ended up stiching in the sides ourself, just so it wouldn't fall off during the wedding. The total was 60 dollars. Is that the cost of just a hem? I really don't know. Overall: Hannah is very kind. Her store is a mess and I feel she could organize a little better. If anything to keep track of the right requests. If you are dropping of a time sensitive item, ask to pick it up much sooner than you need it and try it on before leaving. read more

Great place to get something altered. Mr. Nguyen is personable, friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. He turned my order around very quickly and the work was just fine. The other customers in the shop seemed equally pleased with his work. Recommended! read more

I took my wedding dress to Hanna of Alteration Station. Her office doesn't give you a great first impression, but her work is amazing. The building looks like a old, modified home, and when I went, wasn't very well marked. Hanna's office is pretty cluttered and there are pins and swatches all over the place, and the dressing room is basically a curtain. However, she is very pleasant, as well as very talented. I bought my dress from Bella Rose on clearance, so it was a size 8, while I'm more like a 2. It also had a lot of beading. When I got it back from Hanna, I couldn't even tell where she took it in. Even my grandmother was impressed...and she's extremely critical about such things. I don't think I'd suggest her for a rush job, though. I'm glad I took my dress to her with several months to spare. So as far as pure talent, she's a five, but I have to bump that down for organization. read more

I had my wedding dress altered here. She was very nice and got the dress completely done in just 2 weeks. She did a wonderful job and I was overall very impressed with her and her work. She also went the extra mile and told me how to easily clean my wedding dress after wearing it in an outdoor wedding. I would recommend her very highly. read more

Hanna is blessed with amazing talent as a seamstress and I would trust her with anything from an alteration to a custom dress. In particular, she made 3 separate custom dresses for me, one of which she created the pattern by looking at the picture of the dress. I wish I could post a picture to show my dress and the original - they were twins. Yes, her work space is a little chaotic - but in this case the ends justify the means! I would recommend anyone needing a wedding dress or formal gown adjusted to just go see Hanna. She has a lot of customers & takes pride in her work. She isn't going to rush through it and give you anything less than a quality job. So going as soon as you know you need to get something done is recommended! read more
