I won't nitpick the areas of improvement and lack of communication, but what I will point out is the money grab!!! Yes the Money grab!!! I went in for my weekly $170.00 treatment a few weeks ago, which I pay for in cash no insurance. I filled out the kiosk check-in and boom I'm told I owe a bunch of money. Note I pay each visit in full period. You can't leave without paying. Now with further discussion, which delays my visit and, makes me late for another appointment I'm told oh it's an insurance thing and they didn't pay etc etc. Now note there are at least 5 others I'm hearing with the same issue. I have a friend that goes to another location and there is the same issue going on. Once they realize I'm a self pay they tell me oh it's ok just go in and we will fix it. I get my treatment for $170.00 and I pay. I come in the next two weeks the same issue however now the money is being demanded, it's from 2025, and they have all these print outs!!. I will tell you one thing I've looked at each bill...and paid said bill in full each time, but there is no way I owe them a dime especially from last year! It's clear to me that their business model here is to grab money from anyone who has insurance after the fact because it's next to impossible to deal with insurance. Anyway buyer beware keep all your paperwork for years or you'll have a battle on your hands. Expect to see more reviews like this. For me there are several other options and I'm shopping for a new actual Doctor that will spend time with me and not rush me along. In closing turn over is high at this business and that paints a real picture. Everything is handled remotely no doctors are on site nor do they optimize your protocols thru any communication what so ever. She provides great compassion and understanding as you would want in a doctor. She's so great, that sometimes it's hard to get on her schedule if you don't book in advance. But even when I am being seen by other physicians or nurses, I'm always getting great care and compassion from them. Their lab techs have been the same 2 amazing women that has been their since I started visiting. I truly appreciate their care and compassion as getting labs done are my least favorites. But seeing them always put a smile on my face and make me feel at ease. Another thing that I really appreciate, is their app. Anytime I have questions, want to see my test results, need to set an appointment, or need referrals, I can do so in their app. It's very user friendly and they will get back to me within 24-48 business hours. My medical provider submitted an order for an MRI to River Oaks Hospital & Clinics, Advanced…read moreDiagnostics. The MRI went fine and the tech who conducted it was awesome. However, about a week later, I received a report via email from my healthcare provider written by River Oaks. The report showed there was no issue and basically "clear". Several days later, I visited my medical provider again and we discussed the Radiologist's report, initially saying it was good news. My doctor pulled up the report from the system containing the imaging as well (probably the hospitals portal) and it was a vastly different report based on the same MRI. This one identified a suspicious lesion, potentially cancer related. He contacted the hospital and found the second one was the correct one. Unknown how this could be possible - receiving two separate reports with two opposite impressions. I called River Oaks Hospital and was disconnected while speaking with the call-taker the first 4 times I called. Finally, on the fifth call I was transferred to the first line supervisor who took my information promised to send my requests to the manager of Radiology for the reasoning behind the two reports and how it could happen. This is greatly troubling and should not occur. Then to be "disconnected" 4 times within 20 minutes, each trying to explain to a different call taker the problem before being finally connected to someone. I would think twice about ever using this facility for any health related issues. I know I will not do so ever again. I'm still awaiting word from the hospital. I am not happy with the response and will be seeking reimbursement for the MRI as now I feel I cannot trust either of the reports I received and will be getting another one from a different imaging / radiology company. I will update this review with their response to my requests for reimbursement as I'm uninsured and paid out of pocket for this procedure.

My wife's experience:…read more This is regarding the Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center at Kirby with the African American radiologist that refused to give me her name, that serviced me on 8/15/2025 around 12am. This person mistreated me doing a CT Scan that watched me struggle to get on the table for minutes after being reminded of the blood clots in both of my legs and my inability to move. She then flopped me on the table violently. Wailing in pain she kept telling me to stop crying as I complained and cried to her while being in pain that the solution they use when accessing the port was spraying me in the face, neck, and body. I had a panic attack and could not breathe and she would not stop to check on my well being. I have pictures of the solution all over my neck, chin, arm. I'm utterly hurt by the mistreatment and neglect that your staff member has given me. Out of the 20+ plus scans, MRIs, etc. I have never been traumatized the way your radiologist has treated me, ever! I demand to be contacted immediately because this is not right for patients to be treated like trash when we are in pain and already beaten down by life.
