Going through all the photos made me teary-eyed, laugh, and immediately wonder if it'd be weird to use our wedding photos as bedroom wallpaper (my s/o convinced me this was a no-go, haha!). Ryan is not only obviously an incredible photographer, but he's ridiculously fun to work with. Hours before our ceremony, we needed to change venues which I worried would ruin the day. Despite the haze of anxiety and panic, Ryan had us all laughing and feeling present and excited! He's fun and knows exactly what he's doing, which made everyone feel at ease. I'm notoriously awkward in photos, but with Ryan, I just felt comfortable and ridiculously stoked! Okay, one last thing about why you definitely need to book Ryan is he's extremely fast! We weren't expecting our photos until at least a month after the ceremony, but somehow two nights later I got a very happy surprise that they were done (like I said, he's a magician)! I feel so grateful that we had such an amazing photographer capture our special day and will forever use Ryan for any other special events!

The small looks and giggles between the staged shots. He was able to capture all of that. One of my favorite things about my photos was that he was able to capture my guests' genuine reactions during the wedding. He truly can rock the momemt. So talented! He knows how to pose people in small, medium, and large groups. He'll remind guests if they need to button any jackets to get that great shot. He knows how to incorporate the background so he isn't just taking pictures of people but really the entire environment. There is great balance in the photos. He was extremely flexible the day of. We had minor schedule changes and he just went with the flow. I am SOOOO grateful he was able to photograph our big day. THANK YOU RYAN!!

We knew from the start that having video was so important to us and our future to share with our loved ones. Jacob did not disappointment. From the start Jacob was so kind, responsive, and talented. Jacob's team on our wedding day was so fun and awesome to have part of our day. He showed up and already had so many creative ideas flying. Ideas that I would not have been able to think of. He had great leadership skills, but with such kindness that it made it fun and exciting. My (now) husband is kind of camera shy but with Jacob he made it feel so easy and chill, that it felt natural to us. Now fast forward to receiving our videos. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! That's basically what sums up our reactions to our wedding video. I truly never expected to be crying while I rewatched these videos, but Jacob did such a phenomenal job of capturing our day that it felt like we were transported right back to that special time and place. We love how he not only captured our love story, but the people we love and the venue. He brought a drone (just because he rocks, not because we requested it) and the shots he got were incredible. We got married in La Jolla on a cliff so the sunset shots were so flippin' cool! He was so prompt at finishing our video and even asked for song preferences. He truly makes the whole process about YOUR LOVE STORY. He isn't just capturing video like some videographers, he creatively captures who you and your partner are through film. I think he knew my husband and I value laughter, fun, and our loved ones, and that's exactly what shined through in our video. If you are looking for someone to capture your love story in all the personal ways, then Cinematic Diaries is 100000000000% for you. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone, because he is that dang talented. Thank you Jacob and the Cinematic Diaries Team for making our video dreams come true!!
