The plumbing company left a mess, damaging our tree, crushing bushes, and leaving big pile of dirt in the yard. We called Ridley's. They came out promptly for an estimate, and once we said yes, they came out promptly and did an amazing job. They did so well that our neighbor was watching them work and hired them on the spot to do some grading in his yard. For the grass, they offered us the option of doing sod or seed. We went with the seed, so the (after) picture just shows the straw, but we anticipate having a beautiful lawn next summer. They were highly professional, worked hard, and simply got the job done as it should be done. We talked to another company that seemed cheaper, but they didn't give me the confidence that Donta gave me, and now that the job is done, I can say that confidence was well placed.

It had been vacant for up to a year and the landscaping was very overgrown - so much so that it was blocking the front walkway where my movers would need to unload our furniture. I met Marvin on Monday morning to survey the work needed. He was very knowledgable and pointed out many things - including the fact that we had poison ivy EVERYWHERE. With a busy 2 year old who runs around and puts everything in his month, this was going to be a problem. Marvin gave me an excellent price for the substantial amount of work needed. What's more, he came back the same afternoon to get started. He immediately knocked out the items that were in the way of my movers coming Tuesday. Between Monday afternoon and the rest of Tuesday, he and his crew did a fantastic job making our home presentable once again. With phase 1 complete, we've already started talking about phase 2 which we'll work on after the summer. I received message that some other customer had reschuled and that they were having a family emergency, so won't come until 4/30., " I promise". I was not happy. The grass needed mowing. So 6 more days and rain did not help the situation. Thursday, I waited. No call, no text. I sent a message at 4pm. No response. Checked their site before bedtime. They wanted to charge $250+ to do yard because grass was overgrown. Neighbor's called that evening to say that they saw the lawn service in front of my drive way. Left 3 minutes after they got there. No call, no text, no knock on door. My advice? Stay far away.
