If you knew me, you know the chokehold Edible Arrangements has on my emotions. The fruit/chocolate covered fruit brings me tears everytime. Laugh if you will ( I would), but it's my kryponite. The stomach bug took hold of our home this week. As per mom life, I was the barrier of all things gross. I hardly slept and had to hold back my own internal . Now if you know my parents, they are the sweetest humans to exist. It's like having Mother Theresa as parents. That being said, they ordered me the biggest Edible Arrangement to keep my spirits high. Assuming correctly, I cried ‍ The arrangement was fantastic, but the chocolate covered strawberries were on the yuck side. Wanting to give the company a heads up, I called to let them know how beautiful the arrangement was but unfortunately partially rotten. And then Ms. Whitney from Edible Arrangements did the sweetest possible thing she could think of; she sent a driver to deliver me a dozen chocolate covered get well soon strawberries and balloon. The thoughtfulness, the above and beyond for someone she chatted with on phone, was overwhelming kind. I hope Ms. Whitney gets a billion dollar raise and more importantly, I hope her company recognizes the true asset she is to them. I am in Pa and needed a next day Father's Day gift for someone in Ca. Edible Arrangements was not only a savior, but the people at the Newport Beach area store in Ca were so friendly and nice. I called them to see if my ordere had gone out for delivery yet, and they said it was ready and waiting. I said that I now wish I had added some chocolate berries to the fruit bouquet I had ordered and I felt i was asking a lot since I knew they must have been super busy. They really went above and beyond! My family sent me a photo of their fruit bouquet that was as impressively beautiful as it was delish - and the chocolate berries were perfectly dispersed throught!! Do I begin with the horrible customer service at the store who just wanted to argue after explaining the delivery was botched as there was no card for the recipient to find, the tray was broken, and it didn't even look like the photo. horrible experience and I would never waste my money here again. Would love to post the card but again, and as much as the store associate assured me the address is on the card so it's needed, it was not there and the recipient had no clue who had sent it. Using this location of edible arrangements for many years now. Whether its been for congratulations, sympathy, graduations, birthdays they have always done a fabulous job for me. Over the years, I've just popped in and grabbed an arrangement that was already made up and that's always a big hit when I deliver the arrangements to friends. I order from Edible Arrangements 3 times. 2 in Woodbridge, VA AND1 in San Antonio, TX. The very first was great, came on time. No problem at all. The second just before mother's day, not so good. I went to pick it up on Friday and they didn't had the roses that supposed to go with that. Also they have them in hiper freezer or something like that. So they gave me something to filled up my bouquet telling me to put it in ice for 2 days. Mother's day came my wife was happy but the roses lasts only couple of days. The third order was online also for my daughter's graduation. They never leave the days it supposed to be. Went one day after and only leave the strawberries but not the flowers. After calling the Sam Antonio store finally get in touch with the manager. She told can refund just st the roses or send another bouguet and a dozen of strawberries ( first time were only 6) I agreed for the resend but after talking with my daughter she received a 12 of variety of fruit and no 12 strawberries. I have been receiving arrangements from them for years, most recently this past Mother's Day. It's ironic that I always find the fruit INedible. Their cantelope and honeydew is ALWAYS crunchy and flavorless, they don't core the pineapple and the strawberries are mushy at best.
