Horrible horrible place to deal with. Very unprofessional and Julie, the manager?, is extremely rude. My entire delivery was not made to my gift recipient and she thought it was no big deal. Said she would send it whenever she could get ahold of the driver (who supposedly forgot and was now riding around with it for 4+ hours in his van?). When I tried to talk to her she accused us of treating her badly. She never offered an apology or anything for lack of what should have been a great presentation had it been done properly. I ordered a gift from this store and one third of the box was chocolate covered bananas. The bananas were so hard and not ripe the person I gave the gift to could not recognize them as bananas. We had to throw them away. I called the store to try and talk with someone about the problem and I never received a call back. Terrible customer service. I do not recommend using this location. My husband ordered something for me for Valentine's Day to be delivered same day. He came home all excited to see my face only to find out that it wasn't delivered. He went to the store to no avail, and upon calling the next morning, I discovered that the online ordering system overloaded worldwide and corporate took way longer than usual to fix the problem. The lady on the phone was real nice and listened and calmly explained what happened and had my order delivered that day (which I imagine she had to do many, many times)! I loved the arrangement, the fruit was juicy, a little disappointed that balloons didn't come with it like my husband had ordered, but the chocolate lollipop made up for it. I can't really fault the franchisee for corporates actions (or lack there of) and would recommend placing your order in store instead of ordering online to avoid any problems. read more

This past Saturday, I received an Edible Arrangement from the Evergreen Park location. I received my first text at 12:41p.m. stating that my delivery would arrive within the hour. At 2:27p.m. I texted back asking, "did I miss you?" At 3:56p.m., I received another text stating that they were outside, and I did see the truck outside. When I went outside, they were already gone. I texted asking, "where did you go?" Next message I got was at 5:40p.m., stating that they would drop the delivery at my door in five minutes. I did not see the message for at least 15 minutes, and it was outside on my stoop. Hmmm. When I opened the arrangement, the fruit looked wet and droopy. The melons were not fresh nor tasty. The chocolate strawberries were just ok. The pineapple was sweet but somewhat overripe. I did file a complaint but never heard anything so I decided instead to write this review. I suggest ordering from the Edible Arrangements in Orland Park. They have better reviews. read more

I received YET another arrangement from this location on 87th Kedzie, I'm just NOT fan of edibles especially this Location.. I don't care to see rotten looking strawberries and soggy looking and tasting fruit. There was this strand smell after I opened the bag. i came into this location the day before Mother's Day and ordered an arrangement they said it would be ready for pickup at 5pm so i left and came back this store was incredibly busy so understandably there was a mixup with my order but they could have easily told me to come back the next day or even Monday but instead they made sure I had my order. they made it while i waited, the staff were all very pleasant to talk to they were extremely friendly and professional the young man working the counter even gave my niece some free cookies while we waited I would shop here again and recommend this place to anyone I know looking for a nice healthy gift alternative to chocolates etc. the quality of the finished product was great also read more

My daughter ordered some chocolate covered bananas for Mother's Day. The driver showed up threw them on the porch and left! I open the box just to find out they delivered the wrong order chocolate covered strawberries! I called the store just for them to tell me they are busy but I can come and pick them up. Since I was on my way home from the doctor's office I decided I will go ahead and pick them up. I called first and she said she would have them ready by 6:30 before I get there. I got there at 6:30 and they weren't ready! She tells me I have to wait in the car because of the covid-19 so I did . 1 hour later I'm still waiting on the order I called in there three times and she kept saying that they still had to dry! ...I used to like this place but the service is horrible! HORRID. JUST. SIMPLY. HORRID. :( I just want to share my experience we just had with evergreen park (87th/Kedzie) editable arrangements ...my husband ordered a large basket of fruit for my birthday yesterday - 24 hours in advance-(well over $100) left them two phone numbers, mine and my husbands, he even left a note on our door just incase they lost our numbers (I thought that was cute of him to go to that extreme as well) we were at home for a large chunk of the day too... But it was supposed to be a surprise until he had to let me know at 10pm last night that it hasn't showed up... He called multiple times during the day to see where the truck was and ETA, but no answer all day, they never delivered the basket, they never called either of our phones and they never left the note that their policy states they leave when they attempt to knock/call/contact neighbors- none of which they did. They called this morning reaming my husband out for not being home or answer the door or phone. He was in total shock, said excuse me? There were 2 # listed, plus the numbers listed on our door, never contact a neighbor (who is always home), and never left a note on the door- she who very very very unprofessional, used ghetto slang (?), and said she was sending another driver bc she wasn't going to deal with us irate people. My husband turned to me and said, do u even want it anymore? She the. Said, excuse me! What now, you gettin quiet now? Huh?- we were confused, she was now bullying us- my husband said he was going to have to call corporate after this treatment .. she said in a snarly way, go right ahead and good luck with that- so after just hanging up the phone... She sent a lady that looked nothing shy of unprofessional (unsurprisingly) that made my husband come out to the truck to pick up the order, she wouldn't bring it to the door. Not to mention half of the order was missing. And the fruit was over a day old and showing its age, very disappointing. Oh and that lady WAS the manager so there was no higher up from her. We called corporate and they explained there is nothing that they can do unfortunately bc they are all independent owned franchises, the only thing would be to take it up with a manager- well that ended that. Do not ever go to this store. I placed my order on Tuesday and prepaid. I was scheduled to pick it up at NOON on Thursday. Well, at 5 o'clock on Thursday....it was still not ready. Waited an HOUR inside the store before my order was finally "ready".... Even though it should have been ready 6 hours before then. Not one time did they apologize or even offer a reason for why my order was not ready. As for the actual arrangement... I was dissatisfied because they dipped the strawberries in semi sweet chocolate instead of white chocolate like I had requested. Even though I had just paid way too much for something that was entirely wrong, I was ready to go, because there was no way they would have fixed the mistake. While I waited I would say that about half of the people in there who were also picking up waited at least 30-90 minutes (because many people were there before me and still waiting after I left) for their preordered arrangement (they were not taking any new orders) and the other half of the people in there had come to find out where their orders that were supposed to be delivered (but didn't show up) were. The staff was clearly overwhelmed and losing patience because all of the complaints coming there way. I have had a better experience with the Edible Arrangements in Orland - definitely go to that one instead! read more

Spend your money elsewhere. I ordered an arrangement for valentine's day to be delivered on the 14th after 12pm. When it wasn't delivered by 9pm, I called. I was told it was being delivered that night. It never arrived. No phone call to tell me.... nothing! The next day I called, and the lady said she'd check on it and call me back. After three hours with no return call, I called again. Again they said they'd call me back. They did call back, and I was told it would be delivered by 9:30pm. I just ordered an arrangement for my wife's birthday. I went into the Orland location and placed the order but was told after purchasing that due to franchise agreement and the location I wanted it delivered to it would have to go to the Evergreen Park location. I was still promised it world be the same arrangement and delivered by 5pm on Friday. I had to call the Evergreen Park location several times after 4:30pm in the day of delivery to find out they were not even sure that had my order. I was told it was not made and would be taken care, sometime today, we are very busy. It was finally delivered at 6pm and we were not very with the quality for the price. Tried twice now and won't go back. It seems when you order for a specific pick up or delivery time doesn't matter they do what they want. Once ordered for delivery asked them to have to her job by 2 because they close at that time and he showed up after she was gone and business was closed . Next time we ordered for pick up so as to not have this delivery issue only to get there at the time we requested pick Up and they hadn't even starters making it. Even though most of the review were not very good I still decided to give this place an opportunity. Boy oh boy... was that a mistake. I preordered a week in advance but, when I got there to pick up my order I had to wait about an hour along with everyone who had placed an order. I've ordered from this store several times and never once had a problem. The fruit arrangements or boxes are always beautifully done, the fruit is always fresh and sweet, their dipped chocolate is delicious, the staff is always pleasant & helpful, and I've never had any issues with delivery. I attempted to place an order online yesterday and wanted to take advantage of a specific deal that was being offered online. I was having problems with my computer, so I called this store to place the order by phone. I spoke to Coraine who took my order but politely explained that the deal I wanted was only available if literally ordered online because the special was added on at checkout. So I modified my phone order and that was fine. Today when my order arrived for my sister, not only was it on time and perfect, but Coraine was able to adjust my order accordingly and we were surprised with the free chocolate dipped fruit box that was the original deal I wanted to get. I ordered an arrangement over the phone. When I went to the store to pick it up, the girl brought out something completely different. I think her name was Bakirah. I told her this isn't what I ordered, she argued with me that it was. She said I should have known by the price she quoted me on the phone. I had no idea what the price should have been. I'm never ordering from Edible Arrangements again because of this store. The website sucks - First off, ordering an arrangement is such a pain! There's a million options that pop up when you pick an arrangement and you have to decline all of them. One of those options actually had merit - spin for a promo code for money off. After making it to the ordering screen (finally) I entered my info only to have the website keep refreshing the same page over and over when I hit "submit order". I finally figured out that the website was rejecting my order because I had selected same day delivery and it was now after 5pm. After deleting my order and resubmitting it for tomorrow, I then realized it didn't take my promo code. Customer service - After spending all his freaking time, I then decided to call customer service to get my $15 promo added to my order. Guess what? There's no email and no chat feature. I waited on hold for more than 10 minutes. I then explained my situation to the lady who answered. She told me she had to call that store and have them accept the promo. Okay fine. She calls the store, and they won't accept my promo code because I supposedly didn't have the right billing address for the credit card. I've lived in my apartment for a year and a half! I know my address! My card is registered to my address! I get my bills here! I had to argue this with the customer care lady who finally pushed my dang promo code through. I stupidly thought my ordeal was over. I was wrong. The store JUST DIDN'T deliver my order! - So I wanted to order an arrangement for a friend who was in the process of losing his mom (she was in home hospice care at the time). My arrangement was ordered Friday and set to be delivered Saturday. I thought it was strange when I didn't hear anything from him, but assumed he was busy. The following Wednesday, I hear from him that he never received anything. Again, his mom was in home hospice, so there was DEFINITELY someone around to open the door for a delivery. Trying to suppress my rage, I call the store and ask why my order didn't get delivered. The lady who answered puts me on hold and finds my ticket. Very casually, she just says "Huh. Yea. I see the ticket but no delivery receipt. I could get that out today." Again, suppressing my rage, I ask "What does that mean?" Again, casually, she says "It means it just didn't go out. Like I said, I could get that out today." I then let it out on this woman, "I ordered this arrangement along with a note I wrote to go to a family who is LOSING their mother to be delivered on Saturday and you're telling me on Wednesday that it just DIDN'T get delivered?!" That's when this lady finally gets it and gets flustered. She then promises me that she's going to upgrade the arrangement, add extras, waive the delivery fee, and get it out now. Finally feeling some justice from this awful company, I accept and hang up. The end? - I got a message from my friend that he got an arrangement that day (which arrangement, I don't know...). His mom died peacefully at home a few days later. Curious, I checked my credit card statement. I did get my $15 off promo refunded.... I didn't get anything else waived/refunded. So I spent over $75 and probably over 2 hours of my time on this arrangement. NEVER AGAIN. I can't even believe what a freaking fiasco this was. What if I didn't follow up with my friend about the arrangement? This place was just ready to take my money and do NOTHING. Do NOT order from here! read more
