I ordered a delivery for my daughter and was super excited about it since I wouldn't be there for her birthday party. I checked for an update a few days before and didn't see anything. Headed over to Yelp and saw these reviews and got scared. Tried calling the day of, but no answer. So many people said they didn't get their order so since I was in the area, I stopped in and spoke to Sabrina who assured me it was out for delivery. I called and asked my daughter later how she liked her bear and fruit and she told me she didn't get a bear. She also didn't get her balloon. I was disappointed, but just decided to let it go and be happy it was delivered at all based on the reviews. A few days later, I realized I had a missed call from the day I visited the store. There was a voicemail from Sabrina that they had been out of the bear and the balloon, but that she had upgraded the order and would refund me for the missing items if I wanted. I didn't follow up because I didn't actually see what was delivered to decide whether it was worth it or not. Not answering the phone is an issue. I reluctantly drove up there because I was so worried it wouldn't get delivered at all. I ordered maybe a month before so they did have time to be sure I'd have what I ordered or inform me beforehand so that wasn't ideal. BUT, Sabrina was polite in person and I appreciated the phone call explaining why the items weren't included in the order and the offer to refund if necessary. She gets 3 stars. read more

I ordered a birthday berries and bouquet gift set and spent $99.13 for my cousin's 70th birthday from the schererville Indiana edible arrangements store. What my cousin got looks nothing like the picture on edibles page flowers are supposed to be in a vase with roses and purple flowers what she got was 2-week-old wilted yellow flowers. Supposed to get four chocolate covered strawberries and two pineapple circles with sprinkles and white chocolate icing on top and birthday candles on each of them store said they're pineapples were sour but they didn't call me instead they just sent her two plain chocolate covered strawberries awesome bouquet was supposed to be in the basement flowers and all she got was the flowers handed to her and a paper bag and a vase had a tour and she had to put the flowers in the vase herself it was supposed to have a happy birthday balloon in the middle of bouquet and the balloon was taped to the box I've ordered five times from edible arrangements and it's the first problem I've ever had with them their fruit is delicious but they don't know how to do flowers I would never order again flowers from edible arrangements trying to get a refund waiting for return phone calls let's see if anybody calls me back read more

At approximately 8:33pm 2/15 one of the three items ordered arrived and the person delivering said they don't even work there they were just volunteering to deliver the item. On November 25, 2020, I intended to send a Sympathy Bouquet - 1004(Order Number W0089516176) from the Halsted St. store location to my boss after her loss. The website and app advertise same day delivery, and I paid a delivery fee of 14 dollars to assure this because I knew she would only be available at home for two days. I called the store to check on the progress a few hours after ordering and was told that the order was confirmed and in progress. Hours passed into the evening, and I realized my boss did not receive the arrangement. Disappointed, I tried calling the store the next morning to figure out if it could be delivered. I called at least 10 times with no answer. I tried calling corporate multiple times, and still received no answer. I got desperate and called the Halsted location to see if they could redirect me to a working number, I was fortunate that the worker was kind and prompt and said he could contact that stores owner. Because it was Thanksgiving, I didn't expect to get a call back later that day. At this point I was frustrated because 1. I paid for a service and could not receive an update 2. I felt like I was scammed out of a nice penny and if I couldn't even receive an update on the order, how was I going to request my money back to go to a different place? After many calls between 11/25 and 11/26, the arrangement was finally delivered 11/27 at 7pm. I never received a call back from the store or any explanation as to why I paid a same day delivery fee for it to be delivered 3 days later. I would not ever recommend ordering from Edible arrangements, though the Halsted store was quite helpful. The issue is that all the stores are owned by different individuals, corporate is essentially nonexistent, and when you're spending 80+ something that is supposed to be fresh and well done, you would at least expect decent customer service. I do not know if the order was created on the 25th and left sitting for two days. I do not know that if I did not call around from store to store that my order would have even been delivered on the 27th. You can find beautiful arrangements from other small businesses that will provide you with great service. Save your money, buy flowers, send a card, do anything else but waste your time here if you need something that is time sensitive. read more

Worst service location in Chicago. Place Mother's Day order on Friday, My arrangement was not delivered on Mother's Day after the receiver(grandmother) cleared her schedule to be home for delivery. After calling the store the employee was very rude & said "I will have to fucking wait". Although I know that was not how u do business I waited to end of day. So than Monday & Tuesday yet no delivery & I even had to contact corporate. After being told my order will definitely be delivered on Monday which it did not happen. The email I sent is below if you'd like to have a read To whom this may concern, I arrived at 10am today at the 99th and Halsted location in Chicago, IL. I was told by the manager [whose eyes were bloodshot red this morning] that the supply truck did not come and someone should have called to let me know. I never received a call, and I asked that the desserts be delivered to me once they were ready instead. The manager stated this was ok due to the inconvenience. She stated she would have a delivery driver around 12:30 PM and would have them drop off to my work address which is about 10 minutes away [I watched as she wrote down the address]. I bought these for veterinary technician week to show our appreciation for everything that they do. Then at 4:30pm I got a call from another employee at this location stating "Hello Ma'am your order was set for pickup at 9am. I mean are you still coming in today before we close because we close at 5pm or do you want this a different day?" I almost went ballistic. I very shortly informed the employee of the interaction I had with the manager earlier this morning and told her I was coming up there to get them as I am only 10 minutes away. Mind you I am at work, busy, having to drop everything to waste MORE of my gas and by now extremely irritated. Once I arrived they then began to let me know that the balloons for my order they did not have in stock, they wanted to replace "Thank you" balloons with "Thinking of you" balloons - not the same but obviously the closest that they had. I respectfully declined and asked for the manager, the same woman that I'd spoken to at 10am this morning that took my work address down. I vented about never being called about a delivery driver not being available, the balloons not being available, and not a call this morning to avoid me making a wasted trip. The only call I did receive however really upset me, I explained she had no communication with her staff and how disappointed I was. She seemed like she was just ready to go home, end her shift, didn't care, wanted to just offer me a free item and move me right on out of the door so she could leave for the day. I'd probably go out of my way to try a different location, even the one in Hyde Park we had an issue with but they were so much more tactful about the entire situation and just replaced the order because it was bad. However, I am not sure how you fix this particular situation, definitely an internal issue amongst the staff. The manager stated "I can give you something for the inconvenience" a few times after stating "It's been a lot of people today it's been very busy" and another few excuses, but I was not sure what she was offering, she would not specify, almost as if she wanted me to ask for something, although my issue had nothing to do with wanting something for free. I again, respectfully declined and left and as I sat in the parking lot for a few minutes to try to figure out who to contact above this stores manager because she does not have qualifying capabilities to be a manager that's when the entire staff also got in their cars to leave for the day, because again, that is all they cared about. I think that someone should look into how this store is managed, although I told them I would try them again on a different day, I don't see why I'd put myself through this hassle ever again. Would love to give them no stars but had to do a review as this may save some people the headache. I wished I had read the reviews first. I placed an order for same day delivery. Paid the extra fee for same day as well. Received a phone call stating they ran out of dark chocolate and only had white chocolate. No biggie. Then they told me it would be delivered by 5pm. It is 3 days later. They have taken my money, have NOT responded to my emails and I still have no fruit. I have called multiple times and the phone just rings! This is the worst customer service! Horrible!!! Paid for my order TWO WEEKS before mother day. Opted to pick up my order instead of having it delivered. I selected a time to pick up....2pm Saturday 5/9. Get to the location about 2:10 and of course there is a line due to the current circumstances surrounding the pandemic. So there a security office taking your name, number and car your in so they can bring you your order. I was told, "your order will be right out" that then turned into waiting 45mins! I walked back up to the door and asked how long before I will have my order. It's now 3pm and I still don't have my order. I get it, it's busy, it's the day before Mother's Day, but I still shouldn't have had to wait over an hour to get an order that should have been ready! So the back to me asking the security officer(who by the way was the ONLY person communicating with me about my order) how much longer. She explained that my order is ready but they are going down the list of names who came before me and I had two more people ahead of me! At this point I'm confused af! If when I walked up and gave my name...why couldn't you just walk in the store grab my order and I'd be gone! If my order "was ready"so I waited another 15mins before a lady comes walking to my car with a half ass cup of fruit and it was not even dipped! With a piece of printer paper folded as the "card" that the basket comes with! I paid $75 for a basket of fruit, that came with 4pieces of chocolate in a box a ballon and a card. Placed an order a week in advance for a birthday and it never arrived. I called the store on multiple occasions that day and they just told me it will arrive. The recipient waited at her home all day but it never came. When I told the store the next day they offered to refund me half.. although this is not what I wanted I ended up settling for half as long as my order was sent. When the "new" order arrived it was not what I originally paid for, missing the flowers that I ordered and missing the candles and the balloon I ordered. I ordered the birthday strawberries with the happy birthday plaques on them with candles in the pineapples and they sent me regular strawberries. When i called the store AGAIN the woman did not even apologize or show any regret to what had happened. Very angry and dissatisfied with this store. I spent almost a 150.00 dollars total The strawberries arrived in a tin foil pan that looks like a pie pan. They didn't send the right strawberries that came with the signature box, there were no white chocolate happy birthday enembles. I spoke with Brenda and asked to speak to a manager NO manager was available and she couldn't give me the manager Name. I couldn't believe the CHEAP PRESENTATION.
