This time for Mothers Day I ordered a fruit platter for my mom and for My surprise (and embarrassment), the platter arrived all messed up. Very good experience here when I went to go pick up my birthday gift from E.D. This was my first time at this location and I appreciated how polite and swift the young lady behind the counter was. She even allowed for me to get the mixed box, versus the strawberry only box. I stopped patronizing E.D because of many horrible experiences but this visit helped me consider going back to them. read more

I received dead flowers and old fruit. The store mangers resolution was add the treatment packet to the water for the flowers ..White roses are never brown. This was disgusting and disappointing on so many levels. To pay over a hundred dollars and receive something you would not give a stray animal let alone yourself. The store Manger should be fired for her lack of knowledge on customer service and customer satisfaction. read more

Received a beautiful bag full of delicious cookies, chocolate covered fruits, and candies. Everything was so fresh! I'm very picky with my cookies and these were outstanding. The delivery person came to my house in the icy weather and was pleasant. I can't say enough about this amazing gift and service. I highly recommend. read more

If the fruit is out of season, please don't bother - it will be inedible. We received a beautiful large arrangement but most of the fruit was not sweet. We ended up throwing it most of it out. It is a pity because I know my friends spent almost $100 We also received a large fruit basket from another company - with whole fruit which was a much better choice because at least the whole fruit has a chance to ripen. The edible arrangement melons and grapes were hard and tasteless. The pineapples were good but there were only a few slices. I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because the chocolate covered strawberries were very good but those started to go bad the next day. Skip the edible arrangement unless the fruit is in season and you know that the arrangement can be eaten in a day Instead opt for a whole fruit basket. read more

I have ordered from edible arrangements multiple times and have never had an issue. My grandma was in the hospital near by so I thought I would bring a basket of assorted fruit. When I went into the shop, I was given the option of three arrangements that were already made in the fridge. When I asked if I could have the chocolate covered strawberries that were also next to the baskets I was told, "no, you shouldn't even be seeing those but our fridge is broken in the back so I had to put them out." Fine- no big deal- I'll take a basket. When I showed her the coupon on the edible arrangements website she said sorry we don't take coupons.... however, it was from there company The woman began to have an attitude, I asked to speak to the manager to get this resolved and she replied, "I am the manager." Needless to say, I will never be stepping foot into this location again. I did purchase the basket for full price and the quality of the fruit was good. My grandmother was delighted to receive it while in the hospital. read more

I called there from California to order a basket and the person answering the phone was so mean and nasty because I had some questions. I can't understand why the owners would have such a miserable person tending the phone. I just hung up the phone and didnt place the order. She tried to make me feel like she was doing me a favor. Years ago my family brought me an edible arrangements gift from New Jersey. It was amazing, the fruit was not only beautifully arranged, it was perfectly ripe and incredibly sweet. Whenever I would visit NJ I would pick one up, it was always a treat. I was excited when they expanded to CT. Um, no. After many tries to get a decent basket I have given up. At first I tried the mixed fruit, the grapes are the only consistently decent fruit, the others are always way underripe. So I gave up mixed fruit and tried a completely dipped basket with bananas, strawberries and apples. I ordered the $100 sized arrangement and self pickup, and was shocked by the puny size of it. I was embarrassed to bring it to the party. Those that got a piece did enjoy it. So over this place. Will bring/send quality chocolate or cookies in future. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. This basket was a surprise gift. Got one missed called from the delivery man, no voicemail. Called the number back within 5mins with no response. They claimed they attempted deliver which was not true because I was home the whole evening. When my sister attempted to call to get a re deliver or refund they offered her neither. We have still never received an arrangement! The last arrangement we received from them the stuffed bear for my one ur old daughter was saturated with a marijuana smell we had to throw it out. I worked for edible arrangements and know for a fact this is not how you treat customers. Just awful. Shocked how you run your business. read more

The "customer service" at Edible Arrangements" is appalling! I order chocolate covered strawberries for my moms birthday online over a week in advance and set a delivery date. The date passed and when it got to be almost a week after it was supposed to be delivered I called and the customer service rep I spoke to told me there was nothing she could do and she would need to open a complaint case for HQ to deal with. I then received an email stating that I could have a new delivery shipped out or get a refund and to contact them with my decision. The only phone number that was given by what I'm sure is an automated email was the same customer service number I had previously called. So I called and they said that my case was marked "resolved" and that we would need to open another case. This time the rep said I would be contacted within 24 hours. When I was called the woman could not get me off the phone fast enough. She not only was rude but she blamed my previous issues on the fact that the two employees I spoke with prior were "New and didn't know" yet the supervisors of these employees had that same things to say "I'm not sure why it hasn't been delivered". The fact that these employees were blamed for the general incompetence of the company is disgraceful. I am exceedingly disappointed in the service I have received especially after spending money on something that was supposed to be a great birthday surprise for my mom. Absolutely ridiculous. read more
