I appreciated the courteous attention to my needs each time. During my most recent mortgage I ran into a complicated HUD issue due to an unintentional error on my part during the title process. It would have been easy for LPMC to leave me on my own since their job was done. Instead, they stood with me through this ordeal (over 3 months) and, mostly attributable their efforts, the matter was completely resolved. LPMC has earned my business and my highest possible customer rating for their awesome service.

I've had Chase, BOFA, KeyBank, ALL of them work like this. Just because you're disgruntled because you can't reach a body fast enough by phone does not warrant a 1 star review. Let me tell you about my experience(s) there thus far. I've had them for about a year. My credit card was hacked once [online purchase] and they caught it immediately. Every single time I go in there I am greeted immediately. Every service I've ever needed was taken care of promptly, from new cards, to coin counting, to ordering checks. I have the mobile app which I pay bills from, there is NEVER an issue they don't handle immediately. And let me tell you what happened just this morning. Thank you LISA FROM THE WIRE TRANSFER DEPARTMENT. I completed the wire for something that should have been paid for YESTERDAY. And while the payment was not late, it was a matter of confirming with my seller that the payment was made for shipping purposes. So I called the 800 customer service number, I hit 4..then I hit 3. And I was connected immediately. I didn't have to wait, I wasn't 10th in line, and it's already 9:40am on a Tuesday..if that tells you anything. So I explained to the young man what it was I did, and how I did it. He confirmed the payment would not go out until TOMORROW. *ALL* financial institutions work their wire departments differently. OCCU likes to LOOK at each one they just don't send them out [thank you fraud department measures!] but when I explained why and what it was, he asked if he could put me on hold. When he came back he said LISA in the wire department would pull mine and process it AND send me an email today of when it was completed. IF THAT ISN'T SERVICE AND KINDNESS I DONT KNOW WHAT IS. I asked if I could send them cookies or pizza as a thank you and he said "just pay it forward and make someone else smile we're glad we could assist you with your transaction that's why we are here". WHEN do you ever hear something like that from a customer service representative any more? KUDOS to them. Post pandemic people have no patience any more. BUT remember please-the reason you USE THEM is because they provide the human touch service large banks do not. WELL DONE OCCU! and many thanks.

What a joke. Been on hold for 18 minutes, still no rep on the phone. So I must not be the only one with issues. SMH Spent 35 minutes on hold, finally clicked for a call back. Lady calls back and is useless. I made a payment Saturday since they can't do the simplest of tasks. Came out of my account today, she goes I see nothing. I wouldn't trust them to watch a stuffed animal, yet alone be a financial institution. She can't tell me why 1/2 payment was taken last month, can't explain to me why I can't make additional payments and apply it to prinicipal. I have to wait for a call back after creating a ticket. Talk about a waste of time. Will be contacting the appropriate channels to get this sham of a company some sort of discipline. As they seem to think they can or can't do what they're supposed to do. AVOID THIS POS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

The day before I was to close on our home with another lender, Freedom Mortgage, we were not able to close on the loan due to a title discrepancy. The movers were there and everything was boxed! It was a nightmare. I called Scott the following day and his underwriters researched the title and it deemed it clean with no issues at all. With Scott's lead, and with his vast knowledge and experience I was able to close on the loan two weeks later! My goals are very different from the regular home buyer, and so I rely heavily on consultative experts who can problem solve their way around obstacles. They know how to work a bigger plan and make sure we are hitting all of our metrics. If I fall short on something, Mel brings the urgency needed to get the deal done. I can't tell you how appreciated that is. That level of focused project management is worth every penny. They really work hard to see around corners for you, and to package things efficiently for underwriting to keep surprises minimal. They are truly masters of what they do.
