We really needed someone who could handle not only a small job (monthly maintenance/mowing) but larger jobs such as trimming large trees in a Texas sized yard. It also had to be done to my grandmother's high expectations! After reading the large number of positive Google reviews, we decided on Call Albert Landscaping, and we couldn't be happier. They not only took over the monthly maintenance, but they also tackled the larger jobs. Save yourself time and money, and give them a call, you will be satisfied and have peace of mind.

Watching two men climb those trees with chain saws whizzing was like watching a circus act. They however were very safe using climbing harnesses, ropes and ladders. Working quick making very precise and clean cuts fast to drop a ton of cut limbs to the yard below, while at the same time two men worked to remove and chip the waste for removal. I would not hesitate to hire them again, did not have one complaint and could have given 5 stars, but the way I see ratings there is always room to improve.

I wanted to give this company an opportunity to address my concerns before posting this review, but…read moreafter two days I have not received a response. I hired TreeMD to work on my pecan tree. Before I agreed to the job, I asked if the $1,300 price could be lowered. I was told it could not because the support cables alone cost around $500, which led me to believe the cables were part of the work. After the job was completed, I was told the cables were not included because they weren't listed in the written quote. Due to a delay, the damaged limb later fell onto my power line, and I was charged an additional $500 to remove it, bringing my total to $1,800. During the work, my fence, three flower pots, a decorative butterfly, and a pedestal were damaged. No one informed me about any of the damage. I discovered it myself after the crew left. I understand that tree work is difficult and accidents can happen. My disappointment is with the communication, the lack of accountability for the property damage, and the way my concerns were handled. Based on my experience, I will not use this company again.

The cost was reasonable, and I will definitely call them again when we are ready to do more work in the back yard. We previously hired another contractor who we paid and didn't finish the work so we were very nervous, but Angela gladly sent their proof of license and insurance to ease our minds. They gave us a quote within a few days of our initial contact, they told us up front that we were looking at a 4 week wait before they began which ended up being shorter. We really appreciated the up front transparency. There were no hidden fees at the end, the estimate / contract we were given was what we paid. While they were working on the house, we decided we wanted them to help us with more work and they quickly got us estimates for the extra work and they got the work done quickly as well. Lastly, we worked with them remotely and they shared photos about materials and the finished product. We asked Angela if she had a recommendation for a cleaning company and she offered to do it for a competitive rate! They also offered to mow our lawn! The list of positives is endless. Truly no negative feedback in our experience. Overall VAS Contracting is experienced, professional, a Good value, and responsive. Hire them today!
