The location is perfect. And I really believe you will have a good time here. But for me, it just lacks character and the service wasn't great. It's a massive place, with lots of areas. Inside,out the front and then the side. All are ok, but as its so big, it feels to me clumsy. But that's just me. The reason for giving 3 and not 4 stars was the service. I was with a friend with an 18 month old baby and all (YES ALL) hot drinks and some of the hot food was served in hand reach of the child. Come on, that's just silly!! Had to ask for used cups, plates, table numbers to be moved from the table too. I guess it's the attention to detail that was lacking, and given the size of the venue you could understand if they were full. But it was at 4pm and they were not. yeh the location is great, but the food and coffee is questionable. I ordered pancakes and I think I got some reheated coles-brand hotcakes, the coffee was like luke warm dishwater, staff thought they were in a 3 Hat restaurant. I mean cmmon... its a beachside cafe. read more

Went on a quite afternoon on a weekday. The place was not busy at all. Ordered soft drinks for kids, some muffins and coffee. The stuff acted as if they were shocked thasomebody ordered something other than beer. We were being as polite as we could possibly be. The staff bought out food and coffee as if they had never handled the stuff before. The coffee was dreadful, desserts were old. No cutlery or napkins were bought.
