It's a hole in the wall type of shop and looks kind of dingy but as far as the services performed and the man working they are great. One bad point is there is absolutely nothing around the shop. I had a 75 minute wait and no car so wanted to go somewhere as they have no waiting area or chairs really. My friend and I ended up walking two blocks in unshoveled, snowy sidewalks to get to an abandoned Subway! Overall though, great shop! :)

In addition to this, my "check engine" light recently came on and I knew that meant automatic fail for the emissions test I needed to take soon. I contacted RMAC on the recommendation of a friend whose family has been going to them for years. At first I was hesitant when I noticed the shop shares a building with a gas station (from what I've heard, this is usually a red flag) but I decided to try it out this time since my family's trusted mechanic is a 45-60min drive from where I currently live. I dropped it off on a Saturday morning and explained the issues. They called me back a half hour later with their report; long story short, the dashboard was on due to an evaporation leak and bad transmission part and the noise was my tires telling me I needed new brakes. The total estimate was $450-ish, but they needed to run a smoke test to find where the leak may be coming from. Because the test takes an hour, Scott said they would need to charge for labor to run it. (this was part of the estimate) I told them to run the test and check back with me on Monday with a more precise estimate of what needs to be done and how much it would cost. On Monday, they said the test didn't show a leak and because of that, they wouldn't charge me for it. (!) This, along with not having to pay for parts and labor, knocked the entire estimate down to near $300 which made me very happy. It was a nice surprise that my car was ready for pick-up about 45mins early. Also, the improvement in performance is certainly noticeable. Side notes: It seems the typical hours for the repair shop are 7/7:30-4:30 on M-F and until 11am on Saturdays though I learned that the cashier accepts payment/returns vehicles until 10pm during the week.

The level of service at Autobarn Nissan, particularly from Don, is off the charts!…read moreI recently brought my older Lexus in for an oil change and over all maintenance and they discovered, among other things, that the "actuator" on one of the brakes was bad. Don arranged for my car to be taken to a Toyota dealership for analysis and then arranged for an inspector from the warranty company to look at the car. It was covered, thank God. This extra step alone saved me about $3,400! I don't know how many calls he made on my behalf, but he REALLY worked out the best way to get the work done. I just got my car back after 10 days with a loaner car. This is an INCREDIBLE place! Yay Don!!!!

Recently I got several notifications that there was an air bag recall and at the same time that week while running errands the engine light turned on. After doing some research the only way to find out what was wrong was to run a diagnostic. Since I had to do the airbag recall I had them look at the engine light too. It's expensive for them to just look at anything. The repair quote came out to be more than the car is worth; however i needed some immediate fixing and they did it the same day. The shop is really clean (very impressive) and I really liked their online quoting and billing system. Everything is virtual and you can see all the billing updates as they are made. The appointments are easy to make as well and this was the first place that I thought of to bring the car for the recall. Other than my own personal heartburn on the pricing everything was fine. I would bring my car back here if I had a brand new car that needed service only.

I have had the greatest experience with these gentlemen. The whole staff there is courteous, efficient, knowlegeable and friendly. I have been going here as long as I owned my car. This last visit, was one i could have done without, only because of the costly repair that i chose to endure. I needed to have a rebuild transmission installed. They aided me in talking through the options, and i chose to hang on to the car a couple more years, hence my decision of going with the trans. Everyone knows the saying, don't go to the dealer, they charge so much more than an outside company. i would rather pay the extra money and know that i am going to get the perfect service. I only trust the dealer. They know their cars. I really never had a bad experience. I will never go anywhere else. In fact, the service dept. here is so good, it actually makes you want to buy your next new car from here, just because you know you are going to experience great service. Of course, this is obviously my own opinion, however these reviews are here for a reason. Our whole family owns Buick cars. That has to say something. EXTRAS: They have a very comfortable temperate waiting room. In the event you need to leave your car, they will take you and pick you up to and from your desired destination, if need be. depending on availability and your repair cost. They also have loaners. Sometimes limited. In conclusion, i would recommend this dealer to anyone that really wants a place they can trust, and want to have that feeling that their car is in good hands.

Frantic, I started calling dealerships in the area to try and get in as soon as possible. The first two dealerships basically told me it would be 3 days before they could see the car but Steve at Haggerty told me to come right in. He quickly got my car inspected, including a full inspection of the brake system. In addition, Haggerty found my issue with the water leak and fixed that in under an hour. All told I was in and out of there in 1 morning, which allowed us to make it home! I can't thank Steve at Haggerty service enough - in this day and age it's rare to encounter such good customer service. Thank you Haggerty!

I was worried about dealing with the other driver insurance and handling the repairs. Everything went smoothly with the help of Capital Auto team.. The needed repairs were arranged and agreed between the other driver insurance company and Capital Auto that did not go for any shortcuts in this regard. A very detailed damage report was prepared, together with the work and parts required. The car looked spotless after the repairs and I could not tell it had been in an accident at all. It was also professionally cleaned and had a feel of a new car. Also, Capital Auto negotiated and arranged a larger rental car for us paid by the insurance company that we had at our disposal during the repairs. Based on my positive experience, I would definitely recommend Capital Auto, especially for any insurance type repairs.

The dealer's estimate was very expensive! My husband found out about Adam and Hill Avenue Auto Repair through a friend and so we took it there. To get to those in a Jeep, Adam had to take out the entire dashboard and center console (he showed us photos...wow!). He replaced both units, put the car back together and now I think the air conditioning works better than when I bought it new!
