It is such an emotionally hard thing to do, to put your loved one in the care of someone else and hope they love them like you do. But these folks here made that transition as easy as it could be. And even better, my mom is thriving now!!! She was wasting away at home. These folks are caring and attentive! They send pics and videos frequently of all that mom is doing through out the day. I highly highly recommend this facility and mostly the staff here. Denise, Michelle, Elaine, Sylvia, you name it. They have all just loved on mom and cared for her like she belonged to them. The place is like a hotel. Just beautiful. No ugly smell. The apartments are lovely and spacious. Do yourself a favor and contact them in you are in the Vintage area. You won't be sorry. UPDATE: Be aware that even though CDC does NOT recommend putting memory care residents in isolation, Brookdale, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to do that! It is terrible!! Really it is inhumane! If you are getting ready to have to admit your love one into a MC facility, be sure and ASK what the policy is for EVERYONE. Not just those that have tested positive...EVERYONE. And then find a NON-Brookdale facility!! They are out there and are treating these people with the respect and love they deserve. Not being locked up in a room by themselves!

We could no longer care for her at home and decided to find a memory care facility for her safety. Auberge seemed great and looks nice, but they didn't know how to handle her and ended up sending her to the psych ward later that month (October). They didn't explain why and we have yet to receive a call to this day. My MIL spent 3 weeks adjusting to new medication and was back to her loving, sweet self! When it came to her release from the psych ward, Auberge had to re-access her before coming back. They were given about 4-5 days notice from the social worker. Auberge was VERY hesitant and waited until the last day to schedule it. Most of this was communicated through text with Auberge (apparently they didn't have time for a phone call) and the social worker. At that point we had to find my MIL a new home just in case Auberge didn't approve her coming back in and frankly, we didn't want her going back to a place that doesn't communicate or show any care or excitement to have her back. The only positive feedback I can give is the nurse's in her "neighborhood" were nice and did communicate with us when we visited. Other staff didn't really say much to us, they did when we toured, but not after that. I think it's cruel how dismissive they were of my MIL because she was more difficult than others. They can't handle the tough side of Alzheimers. There are plenty of memory care facilities in this area, don't send your loved one to this one!

He felt the folks at Ainsley Courte were part of his family. I cannot say enough how much my dad and all of our family loved his time there. One of the best things that I liked about Ainsley Courte is that everyone who works there is so involved with the residents and are so focused and concerned about their needs. When we visited dad, which was almost daily, we always saw staff every where throughout the building always working and doing things with the residents. While the times were few, it was always easy to find and talk to one of the managers who like the rest of the staff were involved daily with the residents. And the managers were always willing and able to resolve any problem immediately. It always amazed me how the managers and caregivers all seemed to know how my dad was feeling and what he was doing. One time dad was sick and I was amazed when out of the blue I received a call from the owner on a Saturday to discuss how he was doing. The people who work there are always so friendly. My family felt so secure having our dad there. I thought I would also add to this review that my dad had lived at another assisted living home before we thankfully found Ainsley Courte. Our experience at that other place was a disaster. We were constantly having problems with his medicines being given correctly. When we were there visiting my dad we it seemed we never saw and could never find a staff member when we needed to.

Unfortunately,…read morethrough no fault of Cypresswood, her overall health took a fast downturn not long after she moved in. After a difficult hospitalization, mom was released to her apartment in the MC unit but now with a hospice service. The MC staff, whom I had already seen in previous times to be personable and attentive, were equally so after this big change in mom's condition. For 5-star aides Loretta, Joy, and Joan, it was as important to imbue a positive spirit into their work as to do a professional job with tasks of such as position changes, bathroom care, and bathing and dressing. Despite her weakened state, mom recognized and showed her appreciation of their care with a little joke or a "merci beaucoup." 5-star MC med techs Enos, Carlisa, and Y also greatly helped alleviate mom's suffering by adapting to her changing PRN medication needs. Many others behind the scenes also contributed. Thank you to everyone who extended themselves to meet mom's new and quite different needs as a resident in the MC unit who was also a person in hospice. About 6 months ago, Jim passed away. The Conservatory is a luxury retirement home with an average rent of about $4500. As I walked through the hallways, there was fruit infused water to hydrate guests and residents. Near the L1 restrooms is a wall of fame of veterans as well as a Victorian looking stairway which led me to the second floor. I turned right into the hallway where table after table were the elderly residents playing games together. They were well dressed. We exchanged pleasantries and I arrived at the end of the hallway where the piano and event was. It looked like a pleasant retirement home with an expensive price tag to match. I can't help but sense the loneliness of a few residents as they return to their rooms.
