He made lots of friends and amazing memories. The teachers are so knowledgeable and teach them so much! I love that they challenge their minds and come home with such amazing projects. And that teacher didn't tell anybody else my son injured. Finally I realized that bruises and ask what happened. Why nobody tell me that????? My kids got kicked out of summer camp because I questioned their teachers for turning a blind eye to the persistent bullying in their classes. I tried to communicate with the teacher in the class but their teacher was extremely rude and yelled at me at the door. I have witnesses to see it all. I don't think this is the professional way to handle when facing parental doubts. Their teacher hid behind their leader like a little girl and dared not face me to answer my questions. come on! You're an adult and it's your job, you're my kid's teacher, why am I not talking to you, it's not protecting the staff, it's shielding the staff I was threatened that my child would be removed from summer camp if I was sending any messages to the teacher. I didn't use any threatening or abusive words in the message, I just questioned why she turned a blind eye to bullying. More than one parent contacted her to ask about their child being bullied, and she all said she couldn't see it. Instead, she accused my child of fighting back against the classmates who bullied him, and she said that when my child was beaten，should tell teacher first. That's so funny. My son has been bullied by that kid for almost a month and he told me almost every day when he comes home. In the end, the leader of this school said that I would threaten the safety of their employees and deprived my son of the opportunity to continue to attend classes in this school. She said that I slapped the glass door so hard that all the employees were scared. It was really funny. You don't have a doorbell at the back door. You left me outside the door before we finished speaking. Sometimes I would slap the glass door like this when you were late in the morning. Why didn't you call the police if I was really a threat to safety? When you deal with conflicts between parents and teachers, you are mixed with too many personal emotions and prejudices, and you are not worthy of being a qualified leader. Because you don't care about your students at all, you don't even have a word of concern or apology for my child's injury to you, it's horrible. The accident report you provided to me is awful. You even don't know how to spell my son's name. And you didn't watch video carefully the report's detail is wrong. This report was completed after repeated confirmation three times. Your work attitude really needs to be more serious. I will recommend all my friends don't go this school

I enrolled my kid to this center because I trusted the fact that this center expanded the business in this area quite successfully. However, when I toured the center, I was not very happy when I looked at the faces of kids and staff. They didn't look very happy nor enjoy their job. Furthermore, I realized that this place is too pricey compared to the other daycares in the neighborhood. So in the end, I decided to withdraw my kid's enrollment. I visited the center and explained why I made such a decision. At that time the staff promised me that I would get a check for the first month's tuition, because, at the time of enrollment, I have already paid $150 + first month's tuition ($1195). Again, the staff told me that I can get it back and the reason why she cannot give it right away is because she does not have the checkbook. The staff talked about bad things about the school to which I am switching, which sounded not nice, but I did not take it seriously. She also mentioned that there was a policy that I should have notified them 45 days in advance, strictly speaking. I notified them 30 before the first day of school. So I understood that and I greatly appreciated their kind considerations. BUT, I did not receive the check for a month, and I have sent an email to remind that. The response I got was simple enough, "No, you cannot get a check. The owner decided not to do that." WHAT?? They just ate up my $1195 because I was late for 15 days to notify them. I can totally understand if they take out part of that money, but I cannot understand that they took all of it. Even more importantly, in that response, the staff mentioned that the owner called me and explained the situation. NO!! It never happened. The owner did not give me a call and I did not know the situation before "I" asked them. I courteously replied back if there is any possibility for a partial refund and explained that I have never received a call from the owner. That was it! They never responded back to me. I cannot trust their business. It seems to me that they only take care of their profits and tries to get out of money as much as possible. They never considered me as a future family even though I could send my kids to their summer camps or after-school care. I pass the center every morning and afternoon and see a lot of cars in there. Every time, I get very annoyed by their attitude to me, and I will never consider this place as one of my future childcare.

We have been there since kindergarten and have seen our daughter making amazing strides . Teachers are well trained and dedicated to the education of students. My child attended East Woods from nursery, and my greatest concern has always been the impact on my child. In my experience, my child did not receive the level of support needed to truly thrive academically, socially, or emotionally. Important learning needs were not identified or addressed in a timely manner, and seeing my child struggle academically, including entering first grade without the reading foundation expected for that level, was heartbreaking. A child's education is about much more than tuition, enrollment, or attendance. It is about recognizing each child's individual needs, supporting their growth, building confidence, encouraging friendships, and ensuring that they feel valued and supported. During a difficult family situation, I believe my child's educational experience was negatively affected by decisions surrounding parental involvement. I was excluded from aspects of my child's school experience, and my understanding was that this occurred because the other parent, who was responsible for tuition payments, would not continue with the school unless I was excluded. Regardless of the circumstances between adults, the child should always be the priority. A school's responsibility is to protect the child's academic progress, emotional well-being, social development, and relationship with supportive parents whenever possible. My concern is that children from families experiencing divorce or separation deserve the same level of care, neutrality, and advocacy as every other child. No child should lose opportunities for support, connection, or a sense of belonging because of adult disagreements. Parents place enormous trust in school leadership. They deserve transparency, fairness, and a commitment to putting children first. Families should feel confident that concerns are heard, learning differences are recognized, and decisions are made based on what is truly best for the child. I encourage parents to ask questions about how a school handles learning needs, parental involvement, and difficult family situations. If other families have experienced concerns regarding communication, educational support, or their child's school experience, I encourage you to document your experiences and seek appropriate guidance. No child should lose opportunities to learn, grow, feel supported, and thrive because of circumstances beyond their control. The child must always come first.

They emailed me a reminder and said I could bring my mom (I have horrible sciatica since my c section and if I'm on the floor too long my legs go numb), so that was nice. This is located in the basement of a temple. Parking is in the back and around, so use your strollers. There is a ramp so that is super helpful. You'll enter a basement that has a few rooms and a central area, as well as a bathroom with a changing table. All good things. We were ushered to a room that had a foam piece floor to sit around and a table with tiny chairs to the side. We sat on the floor and sang some songs. For itsy bitsy spider the teacher came around with a small plush spider and gently rubbed it on each child. As a first time mom I did not like that. Happily she touched my daughters leg but some kids faces... not into it. Then after a few typical kids songs we stood up (well my mom took my daughter) and did a run around song around the table. After we were brought to the main room for free play. The main room had carpets and many toys to play with. I was concerned with the cleanliness of the toys as ya know, babies put everything in their mouth. I was assured they were clean, still I didn't let my daughter put her mouth on anything. As we sat there a man, presumably from the temple walked through the back doors through the room, I didn't like that. I'm sure it's fine, but being a first time mom I don't like a space that's shared for children's activities. We went back into the classroom for a story. After the story the session ended. We walked through the main room and an older group of kids were playing with the free play toys...they came in right after we went out so I don't like how they weren't cleaned in between or the dirty toys removed. At the time I wasn't sure what to think. Maybe all mommy and me's were like that and me as a first time mom was being too cautious, however after going to others, I have seen dirty toys being removed or teachers coming in with a bin asking parents, "if you have dirty toys please place them In this bin so we can wash them." I think that would have made a big difference for me. I forget how much this was for a quarter year session... 299 or 399? Either way it wasn't for us, but give it a try if you're ok with all the above. The teachers were very nice.
