I did my research, found Marquis to be among the elite brands and the bonus was that they are American made. We walked into Hot Tubs and Pool Tables Outlet in Manassas where we were very cordially greeted by Drew who was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful with everything from explaining specifications to the ownership experience and expert care and maintenance. Once we were told our Marquis Epic spa had arrived, delivery was prompt. Greg and his team placed the spa exactly where I wanted it and made sure that I was completely satisfied. Drew had recommended Electrical Connections, LLC, Nate is the master electrician, who had us hooked up in no time so that we were ready to enjoy our spa. Now I am proud to support American manufacturing and Marquis is employee owned, but on occasion there are glitches and we experienced a leak from one of the jets - after calling Dawn regarding this issue, it was addressed immediately by James, their service technician. He came out right away, identified the problem, called the manufacturer who sent him a plethora of parts to ensure a quick and correct fix. Needless to say that this issue was resolved expeditiously and was some of the best customer service I've ever encountered! We are enjoying our spa immensely and would strongly recommend Marquis spas that you can purchase from an expert dealer. The team at Hot Tubs and Pool Tables Outlet are second to none; Drew, Dawn, James and Greg made thus an exceptional experience. Getting service this year has been a nightmare. I replaced the entire mechanism for ~$1200 last year. This year (in March 2026), it detached from the hot tub, rendering it unusable in the prime spring weather. - I spent the last 10 weeks trying to get someone to come out to repair it (offered to pay full price) but no reponse. - Initially spoke to someone in the service center, who told me I needed a "bracket", and that it was on backorder. - A month later (in April), I reached back out to service center to check on status. I was told the original person I spoke to was no longer with the company, and the part wasn't the issue. - I asked to speak with a manager; was told to speak to Jeff. - Left multiple messages with Jeff, but he never got back to me. -Filled out the "service form", also no response. After 10 weeks, I got fed up waiting and went the DIY route. Located YouTube instructions on how to remove the panel. Once I did that, I saw the plywood they used to re-install cover lifter last year (which bears ~150 lbs of load btw) was only 1/8" thick, which would explain why the mechanism failed. I installed a 1" board, then remounted the screws on the lifting arm and closed up the panel. Fingers crossed, this will do the trick. As mentioned, the tub works mostly as advertised; Hot Springs equipment is great. However Capital Hot Tub doesn't seem to care about customers once they've made their purchase. The whole point of paying a premium price is to avoid this kind of hassle, and not have to DIY fix your stuff on the weekend.

I had a yellow algae growth on the walls and floor of my pool. I paid $349.52 in chemicals, etc., in a total of four trips to the store. Not only did the algae not go away, it actually got worse. I am not sure anyone there knows what they are doing. To make matters worse, I scheduled an appointment with them at 4:00 PM on my next to last visit to the store. Not only did the guy not show up (even though I got an email that very morning confirming the time of the appointment), but I never even received a call saying that he was hung up, etc. And this was after I called them that very afternoon (around 5:00 pm) inquiring where their guy was. I was told that the office would check with him and get back to me. They too never called me back. If you care about your money and your time, this is not the place to go. I followed up with a visit to Sweetwater Pools in Catonsville presenting the same problem. The expertise and the help I received there was 180 degrees different. My pool is now starting to get back to normal again, and Connie was terrific. There has to be a reason why every time I go into Sunshine, there never seems to be any other customers present.
