They did x-rays, and Dr. Bart adjusted my neck and back on several different occasions... Then they put me on this electric back stimulation machine for my lower back. The technician turned it up way too high and it left permanent scars on my back. They were not able to help my pinched nerve at all. Then I went to Highlands Chiropractic and Dr Bob fixed me in one visit. The problem was in my neck, not my lower back, and things just needed a little decompression. My personal opinion is that Pinnacle saw that I was covered by insurance and saw me as a cash cow. They would have kept me coming in the door for as long as I was willing, knowing they could not help me. Incompetence bordering on malpractice. Beware.

I was referred here by my friend, and I do not regret coming here. If you want to come here, you better make an appointment, because this man is booked two weeks out. He is not at his office 9-5 M-F. He is also a professor at the Chiropractic college, so the times that he is open are super valuable. I live about an hour away, with traffic, and I will drive anywhere to see him. And if you don't know me, I hate to drive. Dr. Amodio has been nothing but thorough and very kind. This place isn't like your typical chiropractic office. I've been to a few, and the experience is completely different. And that is what makes him so special. Your first session will be an hour session that will consist of your history, an assessment, and adjustment if needed. That is pretty typical. But the muscle test that he does to figure out what is wrong with it is very awesome to say the least. He explained the science behind it. We found out that I am not crazy for wanting to take a nap for a few hours. He was able to figure out some things about me that I've been trying to get the answers to, myself. He goes beyond the typical adjustments, he is like a detective. He finds the root cause of some of the stuff I've been dealing with, and we are currently fixing it before going to the next layer of problems. The thing with true chiropractic care is that it takes time to get rid of the problems people have. And I have quite a few. I'm so convince he works that I got my boyfriend to go. I've also spoken so highly of him to my mother, that she wants my brother to go there. She would come if she didn't live in a different state. He got me rethinking health in a more proactive way. I am writing this review to let people know that if you want some one who really and truly care about your health, you need to see him. If more health professionals were like him, wanting to find the root cause, I think the world would be a healthier place to be in.

My first visit was thorough and delightful--I was told the increased levels of hormones they prescribed and adding estrogen was going to protect my heart, brain and bones and help me lose some of my menopause weight. I came for my follow up and she did not have record in front of her that I had previously been on any hormones, so I had to start over explaining. She was short and did not follow up with the pelvic floor therapy she had told me she would find out about for me. Yellow flag. The kicker: this week, after being 6 years post-menopause, I started heavy dark brown bleeding. I had fallen the day before and was very worried this bleeding was related. I was scared and called, was transferred to the nurse's line--she never called me back. I ended up in Urgent Care who sent me to ER. After the stress and expense of that I was released--hours and many tests later they no idea what was going on. The next day I called and left another voicemail for the nurse, saying I wanted help, for somebody to tell me how to wean myself off these hormones. Never heard back. Later that day I started a "normal" period! I called yet again on Friday morning , this time to leave a voicemail message with the front desk that I wanted a medical professional to call me. I did not hear back. I have never in my life been treated this way by a medical facility, I cannot even believe it. There is absolutely no excuse.

I was a new patient to the practice and she examined me and suggested a hysterectomy for minor fibroids that I had for years. I religiously had GYN visits for the last 10 years and had been tracking the fibroids. To have someone tell me they grew that much within 12 months sounded incredulous so I had a second opinion. As expected, I did not need a hysterectomy. Of course, I never went back. BEWARE! Also the AC was broken and they offered me water from a urine sample cup. Of course I said no thank you. Just an unprofessional practice all around. I was never so degraded by a healthcare practice in my life. I have happily moved on to a REAL GYN doctor.

The sign shows a different set of numbers but she's literally to the right of them so don't be alarmed where the gps takes you! Her front desk staff was so helpful! I mean gave me a full run down of what to expect for pricing cause she was out of network. That's the only downfall - she's out of network! But the quality of care is unmatched. I saw the reviews some said they had bad experiences and some said it was awesome like mine. I will say she takes Medicaid so most of her patience are probably not educated in their health and well being like some of us others. This may cause her to share more information or "instruction" causing an eyebrow raise. At first I was like why is she telling me all this like I'm a child? (Again first impression). Then I took a step back and realized, a lot of women have no clue of their Health or the system and she does! She's the expert so I listened closely. She addressed all my concerns and actually had real reasons and conclusions to some of the issues I did not receive resolution from from previous western doctors. I'm satisfied and will be going to her again!

However, after being taken to the exam room and changing into a paper gown, I waited nearly 45 minutes alone without anyone checking in. It was uncomfortable and left a poor first impression. When I finally saw Dr. Soufi, she apologized for the delay and was pleasant, but I didn't feel my concerns were fully heard. I discussed a history of ovarian cysts, recent symptoms, and questions about perimenopause and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). My concerns about the cysts were not evaluated further, and no ultrasound or additional testing was ordered. What troubled me most was being told I would likely never be a candidate for HRT simply because I had leukemia. Leukemia is not a hormone-sensitive cancer, and many blood cancer survivors can be considered for HRT based on their individual medical history. I was surprised that such a definitive statement was made without discussion of my specific circumstances or a willingness to explore the latest evidence or consult with my oncology team. During our conversation, I also shared the emotional impact my cancer treatment had on my fertility. I was told that I could "just adopt." While I'm sure the comment was well-intentioned, it felt dismissive of a deeply personal loss and lacked the empathy I needed in that moment. After the exam, we continued our discussion in her office, which was extremely cluttered with paperwork, empty water bottles strewn about, and patient records visible on the desk. That added to my discomfort. I truly respect that many patients have had wonderful experiences with Dr. Soufi, particularly in obstetrics. My experience, however, was not a good fit for my gynecologic and menopause care. I later sought a second opinion, where my concerns were taken seriously, imaging was ordered immediately, and a complex 6.5 cm ovarian cyst was discovered. I'm grateful I trusted my instincts and continued searching for the right physician.

From my first appointment through delivery, I felt exceptionally well cared for by this practice…read more The physicians provide outstanding medical care while also making patients feel heard, supported, and informed throughout pregnancy. Communication was excellent, the team was highly responsive, and I always felt confident that both my baby and I were receiving the best possible care. Dr. Soufi was my OB and I cannot recommend her enough. Her compassionate and thorough care, responsiveness and extensive experience / knowledge got me through some challenges. She was there in the hospital for follow-ups and came to check on me everyday (prenatal and postpartum). I am so thankful for her care and expertise every step of the way. Physicians & Clinical Care * This is a women-centered practice led by four outstanding female physicians. * My primary OB, Dr. Soufi, is caring, responsive, highly knowledgeable, and extremely competent. Throughout my pregnancy, I never had doubts about the quality of care I was receiving. * Near the end of my pregnancy, I met with the other three physicians in the practice in case one of them was on call during labor. Every doctor I met was attentive, compassionate, and clearly experienced. * The practice fosters an environment where no question is too small or too big. I always felt comfortable raising concerns and received thoughtful, thorough answers. Prenatal Care & Communication * The prenatal care was excellent for both me and my baby. Dr. Soufi and the team were consistently accessible and responsive whenever questions or concerns arose. * Communication throughout pregnancy was timely and reassuring, which made a significant difference during such an important life event. * The physicians take the time to listen and ensure patients understand their options and care plans. Delivery Experience * Dr. Soufi's experience and confidence helped create a positive and comfortable environment during labor and delivery. * Having already met all of the physicians beforehand gave me additional peace of mind knowing I would be in capable hands regardless of who was on call. Practice Operations & Staff * The support staff are understandably busy, but they have always been friendly, professional, and helpful. * One aspect prospective patients should know is that physicians prioritize caring for their laboring patients and, whenever possible, will personally deliver babies for their own patients during daytime hours. As a result, prenatal appointments may occasionally run behind schedule because the doctors are attending deliveries next door at the hospital. * In my view, this is a worthwhile trade-off. While it can occasionally mean waiting a little longer for an appointment, it also increases the likelihood that the physician who knows you and your pregnancy will be present for your delivery--something that is not always the case at other practices. Overall, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking attentive, high-quality obstetric care. The combination of exceptional physicians, responsive communication, and patient-centered care made my pregnancy and delivery experience overwhelmingly positive.
