They did x-rays, and Dr. Bart adjusted my neck and back on several different occasions... Then they put me on this electric back stimulation machine for my lower back. The technician turned it up way too high and it left permanent scars on my back. They were not able to help my pinched nerve at all. Then I went to Highlands Chiropractic and Dr Bob fixed me in one visit. The problem was in my neck, not my lower back, and things just needed a little decompression. My personal opinion is that Pinnacle saw that I was covered by insurance and saw me as a cash cow. They would have kept me coming in the door for as long as I was willing, knowing they could not help me. Incompetence bordering on malpractice. Beware.

My first visit was thorough and delightful--I was told the increased levels of hormones they prescribed and adding estrogen was going to protect my heart, brain and bones and help me lose some of my menopause weight. I came for my follow up and she did not have record in front of her that I had previously been on any hormones, so I had to start over explaining. She was short and did not follow up with the pelvic floor therapy she had told me she would find out about for me. Yellow flag. The kicker: this week, after being 6 years post-menopause, I started heavy dark brown bleeding. I had fallen the day before and was very worried this bleeding was related. I was scared and called, was transferred to the nurse's line--she never called me back. I ended up in Urgent Care who sent me to ER. After the stress and expense of that I was released--hours and many tests later they no idea what was going on. The next day I called and left another voicemail for the nurse, saying I wanted help, for somebody to tell me how to wean myself off these hormones. Never heard back. Later that day I started a "normal" period! I called yet again on Friday morning , this time to leave a voicemail message with the front desk that I wanted a medical professional to call me. I did not hear back. I have never in my life been treated this way by a medical facility, I cannot even believe it. There is absolutely no excuse.

I religiously had GYN visits for the last 10 years and had been tracking the fibroids. To have someone tell me they grew that much within 12 months sounded incredulous so I had a second opinion.
