The owner, Kevin, was extremely prompt and kind both during my initial reaching out and during my appointment. Albeit my tattoo was on the simple, small side, the fact that I was able to get it done in less than an hour with amazing results from Bobby was awesome!! Such a cool vibe inside the store and both Kevin and Bobby just want the customer to be absolutely stoked with their tattoo and it shows. When returning to Brooklyn, I will most definitely be stopping by Club Inked !! :)

Thanks to Yelp I found the perfect middle ground at Just Pierce It. Located right at the Queens Boulevard entrance of Queens Center Mall, Just Pierce It is a kiosk that's bright, clean and easy to find. They also do some creative rearrangement of the display cases to have a small, semi-private piercing area. They take appointments on Yelp and when I did, I got a very pleasant worker who called me to confirm the time. It definitely didn't seem necessary to make an appointment but it does get busy. My piercing was done by a female piercer who took a great deal of time to examine my ear and explain the process. She was gentle, patient and knowledgable and even noticed that my original piercing had split some cartilage because it was far up my lobe, which is why the re-piercing was tougher than usual. After the piercing, she did a great job talking about aftercare and mentioned a follow up in 2 weeks if needed. Prices are very reasonable and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Another thing I really liked about Just Pierce It is how open they are to telling customers if a particular piercing they're asking for would require them to visit one of their other locations instead of the kiosk because of the extra set up and equipment needed for safety. I will definitely be recommending it to others.
