4.5 Stars Attended my first ever EDC and EDM fest ever and it was a great experience! So many good vibes, friendly people, and amazing music. My body is exhausted, but my soul is so happy. The Rundown (from start to finish) --  - Preparation: There are tons of ticket options for various budgets and types of experiences. If you want to keep it simple with General Admission, you can, and if you wanna go all out, there are VIP and the Skydeck options. Their website is pretty clear on what's allowed and what's not. Rent your lockers beforehand! - Communication: Insomniac was great at sending out informative newsletters (never got too overwhelming or annoying), BUT it was so hard to reach them if you had questions. We initially tried to email regarding upgrading our GA tickets to VIP, but literally couldn't get a response until a few weeks before the festival. There wasn't a number to call this year; so it was just difficult to figure out if our case was ever going to be handled or not. - Parking: Highly recommend purchasing the Premier Parking. We paid $50/day and it was worth every penny to be located so close to the venue and have guaranteed parking. General Parking is $30 and limited. There are lots of local "residents" offering parking on nearby properties for $10-$30, but be forewarned that some of these vendors may be illegally selling parking spots on other people's property or lots. Heard some nightmare cases where these guys took over an empty lot without permits, charged $30/car, and packed as many cars as they could fit without giving the cars any space to leave; people had to band together to push parked cars out of the way so they could leave the lot. - Security: It honestly depends on the person doing the searching. I saw some people get things confiscated, but none of my unsealed items (lip balm, hand sanitizer, etc.) were taken. Saw tons of police officers standing around certain points, so it's probably best to keep any illicit activities out of sight on the walkways; but honestly saw lots of people have a good time. - Food & Drinks: Overpriced, but we knew that! Get ready to pay $17 for a small cocktail. Water is FREE, so take advantage and stay hydrated. It was lukewarm, but but still refreshing after dancing. We didn't eat too often, but our most satisfying meal was spiraled potatoes and wings; it was honestly just so nice to rest and eat some festival food while we waited for the next set to start. Saw a Dole Whip stand, but didn't have time to try it. - Atmosphere: So amazing. So much effort was put into the sets, decor, performances, and activities -- it was honestly very thoughtfully planned out. People are mostly so friendly; I found that generally everyone reflects the energy you give to them. You can literally go at any age (as long as you're 18+); saw lots of older people dancing and bobbing away (literally saw two grandmas dancing at the front of Stereo Bloom). There were also so many places to explore and check out; three days just wasn't enough! We were only able to go on one of the rides since there were huge lines for all of them. - THE MUSIC: FUCKING FANTASTIC. Friday and Saturday were the best nights for me -- so many great performers and amazing energy all around. There are different types of EDM for all preferences: chill, trance, dubstep, and more. The hardest part was honestly picking which sets we wanted to see. There were tons of big artists, but also some smaller ones too. The music literally kept me dancing for three days. - The Sets: Literally, they were all pieces of art. Not even sure how they could possibly set up and take down these structures in record time. The architecture, screens, smoke, lasers, pyro, and fireworks literally just amp up the crowd so much. kineticField was gorgeous this year, but a little small. People definitely crowd here a bit more. circuitGrounds were my favorite -- so much space and the sound here was absolutely wild; lots of headbanging here. - Cleanliness: The grounds were kept as clean as they possibly could have been. We saw staff walking around picking up trash throughout the event and the grounds were clean at the start of each day. Port-a-potties were pretty decent and were seemingly cleaned each day as well; they made the best out of an unpleasant experience. BUT I will note that the water and soaps in the sinks weren't refilled after the first day, which is disgusting. COVID-aside, it's just poor hygiene in general. Definitely carry around wet wipes and hand sanitizer. Heard the GA+ and VIP bathrooms were better, but still had bad lines. All in all, a fantastic festival and I highly recommend it. Pro-Tip: If you can, book a two-hour massage the day after or invest in a nice massage gun.

Honestly years I avoided EDC but caved this year and went and I'm actually surprised at how much fun I had!! Music was so fun even considering that type isn't my favorite. I only went one night but I'll definitely be going 3 next year because it's massive! I really wish some places accepted cash because the wifi was non-existent and made transferring money impossible. But lesson learned. I really can't wait for next year!

So worth it. I know it gets loud, and I know we are all anxious, but all of that disappears here. Everyone is just vibing, it's like an adult playground. Trust me if you didn't make it this year, you gotta try to make it next year. Even just one day will change your point of view!

Overall a very fun festival, just wish the city kept up with the area a bit more. It would be better if they had some of the sets inside the stadium to reduce noise to near by houses as well.

This is my 4th EDCO. Everytime I walked passed the security check, I feel home, completely. I was so grateful to be home! Great choice of music mix with different genre and beautiful light effects. Awakening Goddess is gorgerous with super great hands/ eyes effect. Love it! Love it! Love it! Though, I have to take 1 star down because REDBULL was not there anymore. Replacing RedBull for Ghost is not cool. We get used of liquor+ REDBULL not Ghost. It is not a great experience AT ALL!!

I'm more AC/DC than I am EDC, and I don't mean the band. Pretty spectacular festival in Orlando which is full of friendly people in amazing outfits. One of the highlights of the calendar in this part of the state and yes there are a lot of drugs changing hands (and orifices) (and veins) here but definitely not as liberal and free in terms of what you expect from a festival - I think that things have moved on the old days - and people mainly want to be hooking up on Tinder now and not so much at festivals LOL. But still fun as hell, but expensive. BTW I haven't been since 2017 so this is based on that, in fact that was my only visit to the EDC Orlando. The highlight was definitely Alan Walker but I loved Armin too! Big names like Zedd and Marshmello were also present.

EDC is a solid festival for being in Orlando. We don't have the speedway, or big city lights, but insomniac puts on a great production. There's so much to do and discover and truly something for everyone. The lineup is generally stacked, so good that you end up having to go all 3 days to see everyone. The ticket prices are affordable given a festival of this magnitude. There are art installations, abundant food and drink options, so many cool sponsor exhibits and an awesome vendor village. That said, if I didn't live in Orlando I might not attend, only because it is SO packed. Every year they sell more tickets than before and being packed in like sardines really diminishes the experience. The stages are so backed up and you're just shoulder to shoulder. There aren't many places to sit and relax without someone inevitably stumbling over you. It would be better if they just raised the prices and sold less tickets. Saturday is generally a dumpster fire, especially trying to get out at the end of the night. But other than that, it really is an awesome experience!

I have been to a lot of festivals, but edc will always be my favorite, Las Vegas or Orlando, the experience is worth the money. The first day the hurricane Ian made a lot of flights stop and my friends didn't make it the first day. I decided to continue to go by my self I took the bus and found a lot of people to talk to. It was odd going alone the first day but I ended up talking with a stranger for the whole night and I felt so safe. I would absolutely recommend going. The security there is fairly good. And the ems people are also on high alert to ensure everyone is safe and healthy. The bus's are very much worth it. 10/10 experience. BRING WATER! Even if it's cool. Stay hydrated

From California, and this was my first EDC Orlando. I've been to many raves throughout the country and I have to say it was legit. I can't most photos here but I'll say that I had a blast. There were some great friends that I made here and yes, while there were some oddities that stood out, I mostly enjoyed by stay. The Good: -Production's very high. I felt that there was a lot of visuals that help you out, and the sound was great as there was hardly any bleed from stage to stage. The stages are MASSIVE and you could always walk from one part to another if you want to move away from something. -Some Vibes: I was really feeling the good vibes Day 1 and 2. Definitely worth it for those days alone. The headbangers are always the most fun to hang out with IMO. Met some amazing friends who I'll see in other shows later next year! -Stereo Bloom and Art Cars were great. I closed out this year with some riddim DJ named Innit at the rhino car and had the best vibes for me with everyone having a blast. The Okay: -The Parking. So the surrounding community lets you park your car on their lawn for a fee. We went with the cheapest one and these people got paid $20-30 which was closer and cheaper than the official Insomniac ones. Honestly, it wasn't a big deal and didn't find any issues with our cars so good on them. -Main Stage vibes were kind of off, as always with big fests like these. I feel like a lot of people don't know what PLUR is here and usually here, you'll find the pushing and shoving that people dislike. I feel that at least in Florida, they're more upfront and real about it than in the West Coast, which that scene is a tad fake to me IMO. The Bleh: -Day 3 basically had a lack of variety, which I think is because they went with 3 days this year instead of 2. For the most part, the lineup at the main stages were almost all House sets, while in Days 1 and 2 they varied considerably. Wasn't too bad since Trance, Dubstep were at the smaller stages but still, the weird club vibes that you find full of college freshman was definitely more present on day 3 than on the other days. -Some Vibes were really off like in Neon Garden or at the rail at Circuitgrounds day 2. There was this one girl that was so selfish and rude shoving people at the rail during one of my favorite sets, so we moved to the back and it was 1000x better. At Neon Garden, one of our friends lost his phone. I feel like it might have gotten pickpocketed, so keep a fanny pack or put your phone in a hidden, hard to access zipper in your camelbak! IMO EDC Vegas had a better vibe and EDC Mexico had a better value, but given that this is still WAY better than Ultra should be telling. Despite the shortcomings, I may come again for the good people that I found here.

Best Orlando event to attend every year. It is THE EVENT of the Year. This was my fourth year attending and it gets better ever year. Now, the event is for three days. Any music lover (regardless what genre) would love to attend this event. Friendly music loving people. People from all over come and of all different ages. I haven't attended other music festivals outside of Orlando but this is a great beginner one. Security is very present. As long as you are careful of your belongings, then there should be no issues. Food and drinks are expensive but the quality was good still.

What a nice event for Orlando. We went on the last day of the 2020 event and arrived around 2p…read more We were lucky enough to find a close parking spot so we started off great. We had free tix courtesy of a local radio station contest. I can still hear the busy signals in my ear from dialing in. This year, the event was "cashless", which doesn't mean you can't bring cash, but it means you pre-load your bracelet with money that you can use to purchase items from various vendors. It sounds like a good idea, but you have to guess as to how much to load, then do math all day and remember how much you have. When you purchase something, you can ask the person what your balance is. It's nice to not have to get out your wallet every time, but also a pain if you want something that's $7 and you have $6 left. You can't combine "bracelets" either so if someone had $1 left, they'd either have to reload or lose it. There was also a $1 service charge for the privilege of using the bracelet. As far as food options, there were plenty. Various restaurants from around town were there serving up some of their favorites. Gringos Locos, Dixie Dharma, Kaizen Something or other, American Social, Jeremiahs Italian Ice, Jimmy Hula's, and many others were there. It's a great way to try things without driving all over. Many places also had vegan and vegetarian options. There were plenty of wine vendors as well, and those lines were the shortest (or non existent). There was something you could buy that was a sampling of wines for $20. I think they punched or scanned something with each vendor. Most wineries were charging $7 for a glass (plastic cup) of wine. I would think if you want people to try your wines, you'd have it at a lower price point. Are they there to make money or get people to love their wine? (Gringos Locos got it with their $2 Double Decker Tacos, the line was nuts). The event ran till 7 but around 4p, some vendors were already closing up shop. That would be disappointing to me if I was arriving later in the day. There was also Mixed Drinks, Bloody Mary Bars, Beer, Hard Seltzer, and water/soda if you weren't there to get Lit. Prices were good for these options. There were plenty of porta-johns and hand washing stations which is nice. There was a stage with rotating bands. Lots of security as well. I'd recommend going as a nice day out. I wish they'd improve the cashless payment method though. At least let people combine. I'd give it 4 stars if it wasn't for that.

There are tons of parking garages and lots in the local area that are within walking distance, most are around $5-7 dollars, so it's not too bad. It's about $20 for entry into the event, which seems a bit steep to me, since you have to pay for tickets for the food and drinks on top of that. Each ticket is $2 and most drinks and food are between 3-4 tickets ($6-8). It's a pretty expensive event overall once you tally up parking, entry and tickets. There are a lot of vendors, especially local vendors, which is great, cause I love to support local. There were about 40 tents, about half drinks and half food. There is a menu of options when you arrive, so you can know what to expect. Overall: B- A good locals event, but a pretty steep price tag on it once you add it all up.

This year, I was lucky enough to get free entry into the never ending pie buffet from our friends at Yelp! Thanks Colleen for the pie! Since parking can be a nightmare even without events at Celebration, we always park by a friends house over by the high school and walk over. It only takes about 10 min to walk over and besides, it is a nice walk back to the car to walk off some of the pie we just inhaled. We arrived on Saturday around 1 pm and found the crowds this year to be a bit lighter than in the past. After checking in with the info booth and getting our wrist bands, we enjoyed checking out all the vendors and seeing if their was any arts and crafts we might want. There is a large booth that sells t-shirts, cookbooks and of course pies! This year, there were also a larger amount of food vendors selling the normal fair type foods. We did not indulge since we were saving room for pie. They also had a zip line contraption that looked like fun. We made our way over to the pie buffet entry. You must have a wrist band or you cant get in! The pie police are watching you. Once inside, we armed ourselves with plastic forks ( I suggest bringing your own metal one if you like) and then started to check out all the booths. There seemed to be less vendors than in the past. Publix and Winn Dixie were there as well as Kroger's and the Village inn. All make great pies but the ones I enjoy most are from some of the more independent pie companies that make unusual combinations of flavors. Bakers Square, Bonerts, Legendary Baking, and Wicks pies are these types of vendors. Yet this year, they only seemed to have a few flavors to try while in the past, they might have 10 or more types. My favorite of all time was a chocolate coated frozen cheesecake on a stick.... but alas, it was not there this year. Sniff Sniff... All in all, it was still a great feast! I will say that most people can eat about 5 or 6 slices before they are done but one friend of mine ate 10 slices! Oink! Some people like to eat one slice at a time while others stop at each booth, grab the ones they want, and then find a place to spread them all out and eat them one by one. After our pig out, we continued to check out many of the other booths that circle the stage. Crisco is the main sponsor but there are also booths for Duncan Hines, Smuckers, and Dunkin Donuts. Duncan was having a bit of a scavenger hunt with their new stir in flavors of frosting. You had to collect all 12 of the flavors and then visit their booth to be in a drawing for prizes. I collected them all, got my ticket for the hourly drawing but never got back to see if I won... oh well... There was also the appearance of Poppin Fresh! and Pie man! Always popular and sometimes a line to get a photo with them. The main stage had an assortment of entertainment including comedian Kirk Marsh, singer Dean Daniels and guest chefs David Sloan and Brian Ehrenholm. If you want something fun to do and love pie, I do recommend checking out the pie festival. The normal entry for adults is $10 and if you eat enough pie, it pays for itself. Our best tip would be go in... eat pie... walk around and enjoy the booths and sights... then go back again for more pie! (Then take a really long walk back to your car!) Enjoy!

Some stalls were standouts - there was a local woodworker with really lovely and affordable furniture pieces, a stall which had antique spoons turned into functional jewelry pieces like rings, etc and another stall with artworks made from flip-flops. For the last one, it was so artfully done, I didn't realize the material used for the artworks were flip-flops at first! The amphitheater had live music, and it was a nice variety and lovely to hear in the background while wandering thru the stalls. Food vendor wise, there were only a couple of option and I couldn't help thinking they should have partnered with the Daily City Food Trucks events so a better variety of options could have been available. Also at night, not all vendors had access to electricity and so some of them were open, but I couldn't really check out what they were selling all that well. I had tons of fun browsing thru the stalls and so would definitely come and check this festival again next year, if in the area. Note: #377 of Yelp 100 challenge for 2016

Had a good time at this festival with tons of great artists and vendors. The most difficult portion…read morewas finding a place to park our car, and then walking quite a ways to get to the main festival area. If you know Mount Dora well you will know that they have limited street parking, and only a few public parking lots, so when things get busy, the parking is the first thing to go. We did enjoy the excuse to go to the area, get some food, visit some new shops and see some great local vendors. I always appreciate a chance to see handmade and homemade artisans. Overall: A- Parking situation is always a challenge in this area when things get busy, but the art show itself was a good time and I'm sure we'd go again in future years.

I am impressed. I don't remember being in such a big arts festival in a while. And I also have to say that the setting is just majestic, you can come and walk around, grab lunch, and keep walking. Of course, I hope you pick up some art, but if you don't, I hope you have fun. Besides all the nice restaurants to visit (please don't settle for pizza), you can also visit other galleries around the area. At the same time, talk to some people, many travel far to visit and to showcase their art. It is a great atmosphere, kids and small dogs may not appreciate it because it is crowded, but with a little bit of patience everything is smoothed out. There's plenty of free and paid parking also.
