What an AMAZING experience! First timer and i was not expecting to enjoy it so much. Whenever i thought of EDC id think it was about raves and drugs and it is NOT! EDC is a vibe and everyone was so nice & carefree. The different stages were amazing - the lights, the music - the whole vibe! The energy here is REAL and i think everyone should experience EDC at least ONCE in their life! There's an excellent firework show as well! Theres so much things to do and so much different experiences - i did not even see half of it, thats how big this event is! Plan ahead with parking - there's 100's of thousands ppl at this event. Drinks and food are costly as well but the whole experience makes up for it. Was it worth the traffic, crowd, sore feet, long bathroom lines, & no phone reception??Id say YES.

It's been YEARS since the last time I went to EDC. My last EDC was in 2015. My friends go every year still. I told them I would go this year only to see Illenium! We originally were going to go Sunday but luckily found tickets for Saturday when we arrived in Vegas. Unfortunately, my friend did get scammed on one of the wristbands and we had to buy a new one at the ticket window. It was $700 for a GA+! We saw 2 others that were scammed. Poor ticket people were getting yelled at by them. Totally understandable though because they spent $400/ticket. I wish there was a way to prevent this issue in the future. It felt amazing to return to a place that I haven't been to in so long. I tell everyone it's something you have to experience at least once in your lifetime. You have a pretty good view of the entire place from the bleachers after entering. The entire place is lit up with colors and blinking lights. You can see multiple stages spread out across the place. Cosmic Meadow is the first stage you see when entering. We were at this stage but mainly at Kinetic for the most part. Also checked out Bionic Jungle for a bit. Downtown EDC is pretty cool to see too. I can't remember if they had that back then. I wished we walked around in there a bit more. Also wished we checked out Circuit Grounds. We didn't even walk to that side, unfortunately. The fireworks show is one of the best at EDC. I always said it's better than NYE or the 4th of July! They could really improve on the GA+ bathroom set up though. Definitely need to add more trailers in multiple areas and have it a bit more open. It was super crowded and lines were long. GA+ is worth it though if you're like me and care about cleaner bathrooms. It was a super windy/cold night for the 1st hour there and chilly the rest of the night but seeing Illenium b2b Slander made it all worth it. TIP: look for the flag marking the area you parked and maybe even record/take pics so you can find your car after. We walked around for a good hour looking -_-

HOME. This is where we gather together sharing a love that we all agree on. All Are Welcome Here. No judgement. No shame. No limits. We are united under the electric sky with music, dance, lights, Kandi, family, friends - from all around the world. EDC is home.

Encapsulating the EDC Las Vegas experience in a review is tough. But I will try my best. While I had been to a couple of raves in my day, I had not been to one of this scale. EDC is the largest EDM festival in the world next to Tomorrowland in Europe. Which presents both pros and cons to your experience. Here are some of the pros. Given the stature of the event, you'll be able to see the best DJs in the world. In fact, there are so many DJs that attend that you'll have to pick and choose which ones to see. The performances, however, are only part of the experience. EDC is basically an adult playground. There are so many nooks and crannies to explore. Various entertainment options, food, drinks . . . lots of fun to get into. The culture surrounding EDC and the elaborate outfits that a lot of people where are also really, really cool to see. The sets are incredible. There are fireworks, including the use of drones. It's a unique experience. With that being said, there are definite cons too. It's packed. Which means you'll be navigating a madhouse and lines. The food can be a hit or a miss. The prices, both to attend, and there, are quite expensive. The performances go late so you really have to have a ton of energy to survive the multi-day festival. You'll see rampant drug use. These are things that do impact the experience. And if you're camping at EDC, that's a whole other animal in itself. Am I happy I attended? Absolutely. It was a great bucket list item to cross off. Would I attend again? I'm conflicted.

This was my second EDC in Las Vegas and boy was it an amazing experience. It was memorable, euphoric, and mesmerizing. I was able to go all 3 days this year. The energy is like no other. It wasn't too hot this year and both Saturday and Sunday had some wind. Presentation and the stages are out of this world, as was the fireworks show and the drone shows. I say everyone who loves music as a whole should check out EDC at least once. I had a great time. The only thing was the preferred parking which we paid and on the first day, it took us 3.5 hours to just get out of the parking lot because it was 1 lane and they let other parking lots go first for some reason. Otherwise the experience was phenomenal.

My first ever Rave/EDC and I would definitely recommend it!! It feels like a dream and not real at the same time. The vibes here are incredible and I've received nothing but love here.

5/20-5/22, 2022 Too young for Woodstock. Too old for EDC? Well if Shaq A.K.A. DJ Diesel brought Lebron James with him to party and the logo screams "Here, all are welcomed"; LET'S DANCE! Information Subscribe to the EDC mailing list to get updated information on when to purchase tickets in advance and on deals for layaway plans. There are other ways to obtain passes but I leave it up to you (the reader) to do your off-the-street research. I purchased a 3-day-general admission pass with only a $3.00 deposit for the layaway plan; by golly such a deal! My passes were paid off in six months and within my budget. The Package I was so excited to receive a colorful trifold hard case box enclosed in a hard cover enclosure. I quickly slid the box out and slowly opened the front lid to find a pop-up flower...sooo DOPE! The other side contained an informational booklet with all the details of the event. The last fold had the actual wristband, luggage tag, several collectible pins, and stickers galore (all of which I collect). The venue Located on the Las Vegas Speedway, home base to EDC since 2011. This massive base covers 1200 acres of ground space for huge events. Perfect fit for the nine awesome stages beautifully curated with architectural wooden structures that articulate and are covered in bold laser lights. There were 2 Ferris wheels and several small swing rides. It's literally an adult Disneyland. The merch booth So many fine collectables: large hand fans, pins, sweat shirts, bucket hats, hydro packs, stickers, back packs, blankets, flags, and bandanas all with EDC/Insomniac logos, available for purchase. There is a section in the venue that has separate stands that sell beads for bracelet trading. So freaking awesome! The trade PLUR; originally it was Peace, Love, Unity, Movement (PLUM) trade mark to DJ Frankie Bones of New York, but now it stands for Peace, Love, Unity, Respect. The DJ stopped a fight in a local warehouse rave, all music was at a halt when DJ Bones took the mic and reminded everyone of how important respect is in the rave community. PLUR is now an iconic hand shake between fellow ravers who join hand symbols for each acronym in exchange for beaded bracelets to trade it usually ends with a hug for mutual love and respect. The fit I searched on Amazon EDC outfits and surprisingly, it populated a sleuth of different rave styles. I chose the best ones that appeal to my fashion taste (photos uploaded). The know If you are middle-aged like me then it would behoove you to purchase some Dr. Scholl's orthopedic foot insoles and replace the ones in the given pair of shoes you are using for the evening. Purchase some compression socks to go with those insoles. Lol, believe me, your feet will thank you. Bring hydro packs empty ones because security will not let you in with open items or filled water packs. Take some Tylenol or Bayer for a long night of discovery in a huge playground. Bring a card for monetary purchases or you may exchange cash for credit at the labeled monetary booth. Hand sanitizer, disposable wipes, a large fan/electric handheld fan are a must have. The experience This is my very first EDC experience and I tagged along with my partner in crime, my forever plus one, my King mate. Yet another check mark to tally on my bucket list. The stage presence, the bass from all the EDM had my blood flowing, the fireworks, and all the beautiful people (with a little liquid courage/off the street pharmaceuticals) were all so kind. It was an electric sky and a memory to go down in my history of existence. I shall return!l

I say everyone needs to do it atleast once in their life. This was my second year, last year being my first. 2021 was better, seemed to have better artist line up. Also parking was more organized last year. If you arrive after 9pm beware cause parking can take forever. Some parking is about 2 mile walk to the entrance. I mean be prepared, each day at EDC, you will do an average of & miles or more. There are so many stages to choose from so you are bound to find an artist you like. Besides the artist, lots of other activities to do. To prepare , watch YouTube's of many pros that have the experience down to a science. Bathrooms- just be prepared to have TP and your own sanitizer. Fireworks are always amazing!!! Overall a great energizing experience that you'll forever remember!

The energy, the crowds, the talented musicians, the atmosphere where every bar feels like a mini concert... we were hoping to relive at least a little bit of that magic here in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the exact opposite happened the moment we walked through the doors. When you picture a Jason Aldean country bar, you imagine loud music, packed crowds, boots hitting the floor, people singing along, bartenders slinging drinks at Mach 5, and an atmosphere that feels alive. Instead, we walked into what felt like a country-themed waiting room. On a Friday night during prime time, maybe six tables out of what looked like 100 were occupied. The music wasn't bad necessarily... it was just aggressively generic. The kind of band you'd find on a lower-budget Carnival cruise ship performing "Sweet Caroline" for the fourth time that week while somebody named Linda double-fists margaritas nearby. Every act felt like they were generated by an AI program called "Top 100 Requested Bar Songs." Technically fine musicians, but completely lacking any personality, uniqueness, or actual energy. At no point did the place ever feel like a true country music venue. Honestly, the most shocking part was how easy it was to sit there and comfortably have full-volume conversation all night long. In a country bar, that's basically a code red emergency. The food was decent enough. Nothing terrible, nothing memorable, just kind of existing. The drinks were wildly overpriced, but welcome to the Las Vegas Strip where apparently Tito's and soda now require financing options. What truly confused me though... not once the entire night did I hear a Jason Aldean song. Not from the live bands. Not over the speakers between sets. Nothing. Which feels kind of like going to Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar and nobody mentioning flavor for three hours. I genuinely don't understand how this place survives long term. If you had told me they were permanently closing in six months, I honestly wouldn't be surprised based on how empty it was and how little incentive there is to ever come back after experiencing it once. Maybe we caught an off night. But if this was supposed to be the Vegas version of Broadway in Nashville... somebody accidentally sent us to the airport Holiday Inn lounge instead.

Located right on Fremont St, Backstage Bar & Billiards is a venue I went to a couple of times when I lived in Las Vegas. I've seen bands like Letter Kills and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster as well as the likes of Cryptopsy and Abysmal Dawn. The last show I went to at the venue was said Maylene and the Sons of Disaster show in what I believe was May of 2024 (I'm catching up on venue reviews). The venue itself is a decent enough size and mostly consists of standing room only, though a few chairs for what I assume is ADA are usually lined up against the wall. The sound here was always solid enough and I don't have any complaints over that and the merch area was tucked away enough in the back that it didn't get in the way of the show itself. Overall, Backstage Bar & Billiards is a solid little venue that consistently has pretty decent shows. The staff here always did what they needed to do, and my only real complaint is that I wasn't able to score Green Day tickets here when they did that special show, but either way, it's a solid enough venue.
