This company quoted me approximately $3,000 for what was essentially the same type of job -- more than double the price. I completely understand that businesses have overhead and prices change, but there's a difference between charging a fair price and simply being wildly overpriced. A quote of $3,000 for a job I previously paid $1,300 for was enough for me to take my business elsewhere. It's unfortunate because I genuinely wanted to support a veteran-owned company. I just can't justify paying more than twice what the same work has cost me before. Being veteran-owned is something I'm happy to support, but it shouldn't be used as a reason for customers to overlook an unreasonable price. Shop around and get multiple quotes before committing. I'm glad I did.

Note; they will not service existing gutters, they will tear out any existing gutters and replace, probably for the better. Day before delivery, the office reached out and confirmed the time that they would be arriving the next day. On day of installation, my doorbell rang at the exact minute they said they would be there. Jose (Joey) and Lido did a wonderful job with the installation. They even helped rebalance a part of a gutter that needed adjustment that wasn't supposed to be serviced. The removal/install/cleanup took about 3 hours. It would definitely take more time if you were having an entire house done. I am hopeful that the new gutters suit my needs. Even if they dont or if there is an issue, I am confident Keith and Jose can remedy it. I am extremely pleased with their service. Also i zelled to avoid a credit card fee. Do not be concerned with Zelle-ing the owner directly.

From the call to get a quote, to arriving, cleaning & following up Mike was incredible. His customer service is a breath of fresh air in a space where customer service doesn't seem to exist any longer. He returned calls, was detailed in his services, gave plenty of notice when he'd arrive, did an amazing job on our windows (more on that later) & was absolutely delightful to be around. We recently got new windows & the company paid for us to have the windows professionally cleaned so I reached out Dallas Windows & Gutter Cleaning. Mike was able to get me in the following week (prior to my daughter's 1st birthday as I'd hoped) & gave me a quote over the phone. He followed up a couple days before arriving & also gave me a text heads up when he was on the way with his ETA. Mike's military background shined through in his respectful nature, hard work, attention to detail & desire to leave us 100% satisfied. In addition, this is a family business which delighted us. His two children & wife accompanied him on the job and wow, it's been a long time since I've met such respectful & kind children. They worked just as hard as their parents did & were an incredible team. When all (41) windows had been cleaned Mike walked the entire house re-checking & went back to perfect a handful of them without me even asking. He asked that I walk the house & make sure they were to my 100% satisfaction. I called and text Ray several times and explain the issue that the leak is active. He said he would come out again if the work was approved by the home warranty. Home warranty approved but Ray refused to return to fix the issue. What I don't understand is why Ray doesn't guarantee the repair when he was paid to inspect and complete the service? and the issue wasn't fix but slightly worse. Ray - you should either return the payment or perform the service you were paid for. I have the maintenance request plus pictures - if proof are needed.

After a fairly rainy season, we had water damage inside our family room appearing along the seam…read morewhere the wall connected to the vaulted ceiling. It was a fairly long seam developing a crack, perhaps 8', but it did seem to us that the problem was originating at the top of the seam with the water running down the sloped ceiling. We had one company out and despite inspection of the roof they weren't able to pinpoint the issue... leaving us with one estimate to fix random "potential" sources of the problem and another quote to redo that entire side of the roof (even tho the shingles still had plenty of life time remaining). We called Ray for a second opinion. His inspection confirmed the roof is still good but revealed one shingle nail which had come loose, allowing rain to get under the shingle, etc. and run down the ceiling seam thanks to gravity. He patched up the bad spot in the shingle for very minimal cost. We waited three weeks, through some more rain, and confirmed that the drywall which was being damaged was now continually dry. Problem fixed! Ray then came out and repaired the damaged drywall seam between the wall and ceiling for very minimal cost. Ray is a gifted workman and honorable gentleman. Highly recommend.

Overall, I cannot say that I would recommend this company to a friend. Although initial…read morecommunication was great, the company had to make several visits to my home in order to complete the job to my satisfaction. I spoke with Ben at AM Gutters and scheduled an estimate for December 10th. He texted the morning of the 10th to ask if we could reschedule for Wednesday the 11th, I told him no problem and ended up getting an estimate on the 11th for which I signed a contract. I was told that his crew would come out to install the gutters on December 18th. On December 18th, the crew still had not shown up by 3 pm that afternoon. I texted Ben and he let me know that they were on their way. When they showed up, the vehicle had the name and phone number of another gutter company which concerned me. I called Ben and he reassured me that these individuals were not subcontractors, that they were part of his crew. Because of their late arrival, the gutters were not finished that evening and I was told that they would return the next day to finish the job. The crew did return on December 19th to finish the job and Ben sent me a text stating that he had inspected everything and that it looked great. Since I had arrived home late that evening I did not look at the gutters until the next morning, December 20th. When I went to inspect everything, I noticed that the downspouts of the gutters were all at different heights, and that some of the gutters were draining directly next to the foundation. My understanding is that gutters are supposed to divert the rain water away from the foundation to avoid shifting of the foundation, so gutters that dump rain right next to my foundation were unacceptable. Also the fact that the downspouts were all various lengths looked unprofessional. I had also paid for screens to be installed on the gutters so that leaves would not accumulate in the gutters. When inspecting the screens, I noticed that there were a couple of gaps between screens that were installed, totally defeating the purpose of the screen. I contacted Ben on December 20th via text message and sent him photos of the things that I would like corrected. On December 30th, a different individual, in a completely different vehicle with yet another gutter company name and phone number on the side, came to inspect the gutters and see what corrections needed to be made. This same individual then returned on December 31st and finished the job satisfactorily. I feel that this company does use subcontractors to complete their gutter jobs, or at least several different crews, and the quality of workmanship depends on which crew you get. I have included photos of the different vehicles that showed up to my house, and the downspouts of various lengths. In the end I am happy with my gutters, but the whole process was frustrating.
