To make a long story very short, they were supposed to actually pack our stuff, and they didn't. They just threw it in boxes, willy nilly, without actually packing anything at all (except for the kitchen. The gentleman who packed the kitchen did actually individually wrap cups, plates etc). The result of Hudson's just throwing everything in boxes? Broken glass, broken toiletries (whose contents got all over everything in the box), stains on our furniture (they put a ladder on top of our cream colored couch, which they didn't wrap properly. The ladder left stains, which we were told we would have to get out ourselves. Likewise the mattresses weren't wrapped, so they got gross stuff all over them from the truck. Below are photos of just two of the many, many boxes showing how everything was just thrown in without wrapping. Note: the shiny purple in the picture is a glass vase, which they didn't wrap but just threw in a box with heavy books. Likewise the black frame visible in that picture is a framed glass piece of art - again, no wrapping and just thrown in with heavy books. This is seriously what every box from our home looks like, with the kitchen being the exception. We paid approx $4500 for Hudson's to move us. I don't know why they did this. Did they have new guys on the team? Just in a big hurry? Better training needed? We don't know. All we know is that a lot of our things were damaged or destroyed because Hudson's "packed" us like this:

However, there were bugs in the windows and water spots all over. When I complained to Rob, he told me that I should not have bought an old house and that I had wasted his time. He said he was not going to charge me. This was his solution to the problem instead of coming back to try to fix the problem. He never offered to come to my house to try to help. So my windows are still not clean. The price maybe decent but if the windows are not clean - what was the point? I truly cannot believe a business owner would run a business in this fashion. I would give zero stars if I could.

Long review, but such a great experience and company!…read more We recently had our roof replaced by Nexgen Roofing after a hail storm with golf ball-sized hail, and I can't say enough good things about our experience. From start to finish, this local company absolutely delivered top-notch service. We worked closely with Oliver, our sales rep, and he was fantastic throughout the entire process. He was extremely professional, communicated quickly and clearly, and made sure we always knew the next steps--without ever feeling pressured. Going through insurance can be tricky, but Oliver helped us navigate every part of it with confidence. On the day of the roof install, which impressively was completed in just one day, I made a bit of a last-minute request to have our chimney topper painted since the crew would already be on the roof. Without hesitation, Oliver made it happen! He was on-site almost the entire time, ensuring things were running smoothly, and after the crew finished up, he personally walked the entire property with me, answering all my questions and making sure everything was perfect. There was a minor hiccup during the install--one of our gutters got dinged up--but again, Nexgen's customer service really shined. Oliver took full ownership of the issue and had it scheduled for replacement within just a few days at no cost to us. That kind of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction is hard to find these days. We also had the pleasure of meeting a few other members of the Nexgen team, and every one of them were/are friendly, professional, and just genuinely great people. It's clear this is a company that takes pride in their work and their customer relationships. Honestly, I can't think of a single negative thing to say. Nexgen went above and beyond at every step, and I highly recommend giving them a shot for any of your roofing needs. You won't regret it! Huge thanks again to Oliver and the entire Nexgen Roofing team! PS: The roofing crew did an excellent job of cleaning up after everything was done too. Great crew!
