When making a new appointment you should expect to wait; everyone is very booked up but definitely worth the wait! Dimitra fixed my messy mane after a new colourist took over after my old colourist moved to the UK. I always sit down and just ask her to fix my hair and she always knows what to do and makes it look beautiful. Joe cuts my hair without only ever taking off just as much as is needed and doesn't over style or use to many products. The receptionist are sweet, friendly and very efficient. Love love love this place!

Went here for cut and color. Elyse did a great job on the cut and style. She communicated well and…read moreseemed to know exactly how to read me and translate my vision into the cut I was hoping for. For my experience with the colorist, it was OK. She was asked to fade in my roots for a chocolate brown to dirty blonde transition (lighter ends already existing), but I believe there was a miscommunication -- she overshot the color, and I ended up walking away with near-black hair all over. It ruined the beautiful (and very expensive) light balayage that I had underneath and wanted to keep. I only took off one star however because the service was overall pretty nice, and I guess my hair is still now an improvement from my crazy roots.

Yr obliged to sanitize upon entering and again upon registering which is a spray on yr hands and your given a very small cotton square with alcohol to clean yr phone if your using it. So obviously they need to sanitize the station before and after . But that fee would pay for a bottle per client. Wowow .... I was not impressed by that...

3 strikes, you're out! After 3 visits, I just cannot tolerate the customer service at the front…read moredesk. When you pay $70 +tip for a mens haircut at a salon, there is a minimum bar of customer service & attention -- every single time that bar has not been met. If you're available between 11am - 4pm to patiently deal with front desk staff while they figure out how to use their systems, re-repeat your name, phone number, email, schedule and your preferred stylist (and call you repeatedly), and then find no slots for you in the next month.. this place is for you. If you feel that $70 (+tip!) warrants customer service that goes above and beyond and offers flexibility to your 9-5 working schedule **without charging a "no-show" fee after you call to say you're late and get the answering machine** then you might want to look elsewhere. To the management: I recommend a review of front desk staff policies & interactions. The two front desk staff seem more interested in Instagram than customers. PS. Haircuts are OK, Anthony is quite good..

The hairdresser showed me pictures of layered styles and initially tried to change my mind, but I just wanted a straight cut. She said she could manage it. Sixhaut is a smart, well designed salon in an interesting building. Owners Jordan and Jesse are professional, knowledgeable and truly experienced. My appointment with Jordan started with a frank discussion of my expectations, the level of my ability to work with my hair and Jordan's thoughts and vision about what looked best on me. His level of expertise was unparalleled as my cut was perfect! I've never felt so confident. My cut was stylish, relevant and it fit me to a "T. And thanks to Jordan's thoughtful discussion regarding my ability to work with the new style, my hair continues to look fresh. When I next return, I plan on Jordan doing my color. His own hair is an envious example of what mine could be. We discussed how I loved his gold tones. Amazingly, his vast industry knowledge informed me that Aveda clove shampoo would enhance and enrich the warm tones to give me the gold in the interim. Bravo Jordan, a truly exciting and comprehensive experience!
