I cannot recommend Sarah's Tax Preparation & Accounting Services in Claremore. We are so…read morefrustrated! I made an appointment for taxes and was told Sarah had an opening at 10:00 AM on 2/27. We arrived early, but the doors didn't open until 10:15. The receptionist apologized and said they were having their monthly meeting. After filling out paperwork, we waited until 10:30 to be called back. When we asked to use the restroom, we were told they "don't have one." I explained that our appointment was at 10:00 and asked if an exception could be made. The response was simply, "We don't have one." When I asked what they do all day, the employee said, "I don't know what to say, we just don't have one." We then waited another 10 minutes because the computer was running updates. Once we finally got to the tax preparation, we were told we would receive a federal refund but owe state taxes. That seemed unusual since we typically owe each year, but we accepted the information and paid $220 for the service. We were also told our taxes would be filed within 24 hours. Today, 3/9, we received a phone call saying a number had been entered incorrectly and that we actually don't get a refund -- we owe federal taxes. When we went in to pick up our paperwork, Sarah came out to apologize and claimed she "wasn't there that day." She absolutely was; she spoke to Amber right in front of us and was discussing needing a plumber for a property to another client. While they did refund the $220, it does not make the experience any better. Our time was not respected, the filing was incorrect, and we were given information that was simply not true. Between the late opening, the lack of accommodations, the long waits, the computer delays, the incorrect filing, the information about filing within 24 hours, and the dishonesty about who was present, this has been a terrible experience from start to finish. I wanted to support a local tax preparer, but unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say. We will be taking our taxes elsewhere for a second opinion

On November 20, 2020 I received a bill from the IRS that I was late and they had penalized me. I tried to call Sarah but of course she will never answer. I called the IRS and she told me no extension had been filed and even if it had if I owed I should of be told to send an estimated tax. I will be reporting this business to the IRS, the Better Business Bureau. My tax returns were showed to have been done by someone else and a business name other than hers and a fictitious telephone number.

That woman, Amber Murray, just used me! It's not at all fair. My family was willing to do whatever it took to save that boy! He was mine! I raised him. I pulled him out of her uterus, with my other favorite nurse! The system took him away. You took my little baby Brody Jo Humphrey away! I did get to see pictures of him by the way of Sandy McCray. She was crippled from so much plastic surgery, barely survived. Now shes gone, too. Think about things next time please. I don't wish anyone to have encountered what I did! I miss my Brody every day! But I know he's not the same boy I raised.

Great service for my medical needs but horrible service trying to pay my bill. I received a…read morevoicemail not long after my emergency room staying offering a "substantial discount" on my medical bills. Well I jumped on that and called to schedule payment or make a one time payment to get this taken care of. No one ever answered. Even after leaving a voicemail and requesting a call back. So I got on my chart which is the patient portal. Sent three separate messages at different times and only got one response from someone saying that the patient portal isn't where I'd talk to someone about this and that I'd need to call customer service. I explained I had done that and never got another reply. The real kicker here is that hillcrest sent my bill to collections. This means they sold my debt for Pennie's on the dollar instead of getting in touch with me to pay my bill. My medical needs were taken care of and the staff was amazing. I am able to separate the hospital from the accounting department. But for crying out loud they make it impossible to pay my bill and if they don't plan on honoring their discount then don't offer it in the first place

Even after four hours. I took her to another hospital where they perform emergancy open heart surgrey on her. Hillcrest would rather save dollars than save lives.
