Jarrod came and cleaned the carpets in our home before we had our daughter. He was very friendly and professional and great with pets!

Great service from Todd. He was here within an hour of getting a quote after my dog had an accident…read moreon my new couch. He quoted me a price for just one cushion but ended up doing my living room carpet so I didn't feel so bad about having to spend the money on one cushion. Everything smells and looks really good. Thanks for the awesome job and service Todd! Definitely will be recommending him in the future and using him again.

Absolute nightmare…read more Our carpet is very new- it's been used by 2 adults for 15 months. Needed carpet cleaning only because we got a puppy who had a few accidents. Based on his good reviews and IICRC certification, called TPK at 5pm to schedule a cleaning with Todd. He said he could come out the next day and take care of the pet stains. 18 minutes before the appointment I receive a phone call from someone who says he is Todd's son and he will be doing the carpet cleaning. He also says that he was taught how to clean carpets by his dad and he has his own truck and business- Good Guyz Carpet Cleaning. This felt like a bait and switch- I hired Todd, with "over 20 years of experience" and "IICRC certification" and good reviews online, I did not hire Good Guyz Carpet Cleaning. Against my better judgement, I let this guy come clean our carpet for Todd. Big mistake. He shows up to clean pet stains without a black light- an absolute necessity and very basic tool for any carpet cleaner. Pet stains glow brightly under a black light. Without a black light a carpet cleaner can not possibly find even a fraction of the pet stains that they're hired to clean. Long story short, this guy rushed through the job. He did not focus on all the pet stains. Some he barely cleaned, others he completely missed. The only reason he was able to find any of them at all is because I loaned him a cheap, relatively weak black light that we had in our house. To make the entire situation exponentially worse- he left the carpet soaking wet. As in ridiculously soaking wet. After cleaning, a professional is supposed to do enough dry passes to suck up as much moisture as possible from the carpet. If this guy did a single dry pass, it is impossible to tell. After 6 hours of having a heavy duty blower directly blowing across the carpet, it is still soaking wet. Based on what I was told by a another professional, IICRC certified carpet cleaner, this can a huge issue because when carpet is left this wet, mildew can start growing after a few days. Mildew would require all the carpet and the pad to be ripped out and replaced, negligently turning a $175 carpet cleaning into a multi-thousand dollar carpet and padding replacement. 5 hours after he finished work on our carpet (it had a blower directly drying this patch the entire time), I used our cheap, home consumer carpet cleaner to suck up the water and cleaning solution from our carpet. As a test, I went over only a small section (less than 6'x6' square) at the bottom of our stairs. The results were disturbing- our cheap consumer carpet cleaner easily sucked up over 1.5 cups of water from a very small patch of carpet. And the water was filthy. After multiple passes from our home carpet cleaner (when we've previously cleaned the carpet ourselves), the carpet is usually barely damp and the water is coming up relatively clean. You can see in the picture I posted how dirty the water is and how much of it came out of a very small patch of carpet. Called Todd to ask him to come fix the situation and his other son answers the phone. I explain to him the issue, how urgent the wet carpet issue is and that I want Todd to come out and take care of it. Instead, later in the evening I get a phone call from the brother who did the terrible job. I told him that his work was unacceptable and Todd needed to call me and take care of the issues. Later I get another call from the brother, instead of Todd. He is incredibly rude and unprofessional, immediately starts talking over me and will not even let me politely voice my concerns. I ended up having to hang up on him when he became hostile and abusive. In the end, Todd's left our carpets drenched, dirty and loaded with chemical residue and with pet stains smelling no better than they did prior to their work. I ended up having to pay $30 to put a stop payment on the check I wrote to the cleaner that Todd sent out and had to pay a different company to clean up Todd's mess. I can not recommend highly enough that you avoid Todd's Pro Kleen. He clearly has no qualms about advertising his experience and certifications, then switching out (at the literal last minute) to a far less experienced subcontractor with no such certifications and far less experience. And he has no issue with charging his full rates for the work of significantly inferior, far less experienced subcontractors.

After purchasing their Groupon deal, it took quite a while to actually get someone to come to my…read morehouse, and they had to cancel once (with a little less than 24 hour notice.) The woman who finally came to clean was on time and polite. My bathroom was a mess and she did a good job (it was a LOT of work), but my house had a strong smell of chemical cleaner that lingered for 2 or 3 days. This was despite having the bathroom fan on, and double sliding doors open in the next room. I realized later than I never heard the water run, and the floor had a bit of residue, so I don't think anything got rinsed. After she left, I noticed the towel bar and light fixture hadn't been cleaned, nor had the walls been wiped down. She also didn't have a mop or anything, so I think she might have just sprayed and wiped the floor. Overall, not a bad deal, but I definitely didn't get the "hotel clean" I was hoping for, nor did I get the "mountain freshness" they promote on their site. I will look elsewhere for ongoing cleaning services.

I purchased their Groupon for two 2-hr cleanings. After over a month of attempting to contact this…read morecompany, I finally had my first cleaning scheduled. I paid an extra $20 for an extra hour on this first cleaning, to make 3 hrs total. The woman showed up, I showed her the rooms to concentrate on, and left to run errands. After 2.5 hours I returned and the woman stated that she had completed everything (my house is 2200 sq ft). She took my extra $20 and left 30 minutes early. Upon inspecting my house, it was evident that she actually hadn't cleaned. After a recent bathroom remodel, my house has been left with extra dust; my entire bedroom, floors, baseboards, ceiling fan, etc. still had an obvious layer of dust on them; my bathroom counter still had construction dust covering it; the hardwood hadn't been touched; these were the areas that I had asked her to focus on. (I have a picture of the dust/scraps on the bathroom floor that I swept up after she left; nothing was mopped.) I called the company and they promptly sent out another woman to inspect the house. She agreed that it was not cleaned to their standards. She then went on that they often need to send their newer, in-training employees to these "coupon promotions" because they can't take away their better employees from their regular cleanings; she stated that they often ask the customer to stay in the house so that we can be sure that the areas are cleaned to our liking. (They never asked me to stay, and besides, I am not interested in training their employees.) They offered to have the same woman come back for an extra 30 minutes to finish the dusting that she hadn't completed. There is no possible way she could finish what she hadn't done in a mere 30 minutes. I declined this. Their compensation was that on my next cleaning they would send someone different and add an extra 30 minutes - this was after she had the nerve to argue with me that they actually only owed me 17 minutes, which was absolutely inaccurate. There was absolutely no compensation for the 2.5 hrs of cleaning that I did not receive. At this point, I have paid them $95 and feel that I've received nothing. I'm not sure what exactly this woman was doing in my house for 2.5 hours, but if this is who they have chosen to represent their company then I prefer not to even have this company back in my house.
