I came to learn quickly that Unfortunately this center is more concerned with ticket sales etc than the children's happiness and safety. It is definitely not family-friendly and it is not clean. I recently witnessed a mom being kicked out of the recital rehearsal because she had to bring her one-year-old son. Her daughter came onstage and left crying not knowing where her mom was. Luckily another mom (not staff member) knew her and brought her to her mother. They all left in tears and noticed a woman named Beth who seem to be running the event started gossiping and speaking about the poor mom and daughter in a negative way. I was completely shocked at how this was handled. For this reason my daughter will never attend the school again and if you're smart you will not have your children in the center either. This is supposed to be a fun activity. What a nightmare. And all this because she brought her baby with her. I would think they would understand a little more because some of the staff had their children running all around INSIDE the rehearsal.

We attended about twice a month covertly, not telling any family or friends what we were doing until the big day when we actually walked into the event and started our number. Joss was so pleasant and patient. She apparently has a big résumé, having danced with some big acts of which she never spoke until we asked her the last day there. She is humble and sweet and always has a smile on her youthful face. She is a great dancer and teacher and it was our great luck to have gotten hooked up with her for our blessed event. CM Performing Arts Center in Oakdale NY does a number of performances. Not only well known works as…read morethe up coming Addams Family the Musical, new works as The Area between Us written by Ashlyn Frank , a variety of children's shows and, as well , a combined effort murder mystery in a church for a fundraiser. Sin & Gin was a fun and cute performance of a 1920s theme murder mystery. It took place in the Saint Ann's Church in Saville NY, as a combined effort of the Church, along with People's Arc of Suffolk . The write up is a service for Edith Corse Evans' a fellow member who had died 10 years before, who heroically gave up her seat for her friend on the Titanic (Edith was a real person who gave up her seat for Caroline Brown) when one seat on the life boat was left, knowing she had children to go home to. As in most stories this one had name changes. (You know; when you see that list at the end noting any resemblance to real people is strictly coincidence) The Cast who I must applaud all stayed in character, no matter what questions that I asked them. They and many of the parishioners who came to pay their respects, were also dressed in 1920s attire. Of course after the service, a FRONT, they sneakily took a trip to the back River Room where all kinds of things happened including a rousing evening of booze, jazz and ---MURDER! (See pix + Videos) Dinner was included in the ticket price of $75.00. As was one complimentary glass of wine or beer, courtesy of Loughlin Vineyards with an open cash bar for more. For the fund raiser they also had tickets for purchase a 50/50 a door prize basket and other raffle baskets. CM Performing Center is one of the Long Island theaters for live performances. Add them to your list.

I do not blame them, there should be at least one qualified gymnastics teacher to train and over see the rest. It seems like a baby sitting session with exercises and some basic equipment drills. After I saw them playing musical chairs with hula hoops instead of chairs I pulled both children out. That was the only time I got to speak with Julie (over the phone, I never seen her there). Maybe she is the only real gymnastics teacher. She did not care about my concerns and also did not care about losing a customer, I guess business is good enough.
