I suggested to do a search on Yelp and he landed on Deluxe Pool Services. I held my breath... and they came through. The services he gets include opening/closing and weekly cleanings. Dad is especially impressed because whenever there are issues with his pool, their customer service is so top tier, they are on it immediately to resolve the problem. Their location is in CT but you can see from the reviews that they work with pools all over LI (and apparently as far as Albany, according to my father). Their maintenance people are fast, friendly and thorough (I've been at the house a couple times when they serviced the pool). Reasonably priced, too. Important to note that my father is someone who doesn't tolerate inconsistent timeliness (this probably goes for 9/10 dads, no?) and they are always on time or they call. You really can't ask for anything more when it comes to pool services.

Mike was the first one at the site after receiving the RFP. Communication, flexibility and ability to achieve our goals were all evident after our first interview. The work is sloppy and looks more ike a High School Shop student completed it. He has the nerve to post a picture of my radiator cover on YELP without asking my permission. I told him this was my design, I drew the blueprints, and gave him a picture of what I wanted, and he did not have my permission to use it. I have emailed him four times, and he has yet to reply. I would not recommend him. Bob is also unlicensed. I would not recommend him.
