Holy Trinity Cemetery

Holy Trinity Cemetery

This cemetery is located in the beautiful Falls city, Texas. Quite a small town who loves their…read morehigh school football. Holy Trinity is kinda hidden down a side road off of 181. If you're not looking, you could very well miss the road. Some people are iffy about cemeteries, some people don't even understand visiting one. I want my kids to be ok with coming to visit, its not a big deal, its not scary, I want them to ask questions and be curious about it. I have lots of loved ones buried here. My family is all from this area, Karnes all the way to Floresville. Most being in Floresville, so this was the "go-to" cemetery for my family. My great grandparents rest here along with my aunt and grandparents. Some great uncles as well. Its nice that they are all together in their final resting place. We just took my kids here a couple weekends ago, I was going to get off by myself but the kids protested. They wanted to get off as well, so they did. They're old enough to read the headstones and ask questions about my loved ones. My 8-year-old even asked why my aunt died so young. I am the last of the cousins/kids to really remember my grandparents. So, its important that I bring my kids here so that Their stories live on, they will not be forgotten with my generation. The cemetery is really dry but that's not surprising with this area. There are usually always stickers on the ground, so please check your shoes/socks before you leave. There are signs warning about snakes and to visit at your own risk, but in the years that my family has been coming here, Ive never seen any snakes. There is a water spout and hose also, so you can wet the ground if you're planting some flowers. The grass/property is always well kept, very clean and taken care of. It's a cemetery right, so I get that not everyone is going to come to this particular one but to me, its one of the nicest.
