(So in essence, all I asked AppMakersLA to provide me with is a "digital brochure" about their company, so our prospective client would have a relatively clear idea of who we were going to be developing the app with.) Not only did AppMakersLA do a mediocre job on the first draft of the PPT "brochure," but when I asked them to make a few minor formatting changes to it, they said they would have to CHARGE me for making the changes - to their own company's promotional literature (!) Obviously that didn't go over too well on our end, and when I pointed out to the "Senior Project Manager" that I couldn't understand why he didn't feel that it was his responsibility to make sure that my notes were addressed in a timely manner and WITHOUT my company having to pay for them (again, because it was a description of HIS OWN COMPANY) he actually got offended and said that he couldn't do business with us because we were being "disrespectful" to him (!) So I guess not only is the concept of "The Customer Is Always Right" NOT a key management principal @ AppMakersLA, apparently the Customer isn't even allowed to have an opinion!
