As a veteran lupus warrior, my life revolves around doctors, and I have to say that Guilda Sarraf…read moreis one of the most stellar doctors I have ever known-ever, for several years now. She even catches a whole lot of things that the other specialists overlook, constantly. I know how ponderous and cumbersome reading reviews can get, but please know that Dr. Sarraf is the real deal. Her knowledge is fantastic and she knows how to relate her cardiology profession to the other interdisciplinary professions, thereby helping alleviate my symptoms. Since lupus attacks everything, this is incumbent. As a most recent example, she caught something that a primary care physician did wrong. PCP said my cholesterol was 'high', but Dr Sarraf said to completely disregard the lab values because the doctor "forgot" to have me fasting before drawing the labs. Simple things like that so many professionals carelessly miss! But not Dr. Sarraf! For once, at least I know I can relax a little knowing that this doctor will take care of me, not to mention her level of professionalism. Dr. Sarraf can be away on vacation, but she will still call me back the same day, and oftentimes right away! She is exceedingly accommodating, at the very least. I recommend Dr. Sarraf with no reservation. Keep up the great work! *Important: Regarding the online presence: Thankfully Dr Sarraf is excluded from this but regarding other offices, you must beware and take heed: **Review sites and doctors corroborate together to silence the consumer even more: When doctors pay Healthgrades, Vitals, etc. for a premium subscription, or just give them money in general, bribes, etc., as usual and as one example, they allow for doctors to hide 3 or more reviews that they arbitrarily dislike. Again, this is just one unethical tactic out of many they use. As a result, I truly applaud all those consumers who muster up the courage to write a review that is both truthful and that addresses the concerns of that doctor and its facility. There is always at least some validity in the negative reviews that are getting pummeled by bribes and bots and solicitations to get more positive reviews. Telling the truth is harder than choosing the path of least resistance and 'going with the flow'. Make no mistake about it, these providers are very savvy, so do not fall for all their deceitfulness. (Again, Dr. Sarraf excluded from here). Be wise and notice the slew of positive reviews- because they are being solicited constantly during and after appointments, to write five stars and people want to be welcomed into their office and would rather not voice the truths. In summary, I recommend Dr. Sarraf with no reservation. But please scrutinize other offices. Keep up the great work!

I am deeply disturbed by the unprofessional behavior displayed by Dr. Scaderi during my mother's…read morerecent appointment. My 82-year-old mother has been a patient of his for the past five years, and while we have experienced long wait times in the past, what occurred during her most recent visit on November 5th at 7:45 a.m. was unacceptable. After waiting over an hour in the lobby (which, unfortunately, has become typical for this practice), we were placed in an exam room where we waited an additional 20 minutes. When Dr. Scaderi arrived, he briefly reviewed her chart and discussed a few details. However, before addressing my mother's concerns, he abruptly stated that he was running behind and needed to see other patients, suggesting we discuss her questions the following week. I explained that my mother lives in Orange County, does not drive, and that I had taken the day off work and paid for her transportation to attend this appointment. I politely asked if we could please address her concerns during the allotted appointment time, given that he was already significantly behind schedule. At that point, Dr. Scaderi became visibly agitated and launched into an inappropriate and lengthy rant. He complained about having been in the hospital all night without sleep, about the state of the country's healthcare system, Medicare reimbursements, and his personal financial responsibilities such as rent and employee wages. His assistant, my mother, and I were all shocked by his outburst and lack of professionalism. Ironically, Dr. Scaderi spent approximately 10-15 minutes expressing his frustrations about the healthcare system but was unwilling to spend even a few minutes addressing my elderly mother's questions about her blood pressure and medication. I had also requested a telehealth appointment in advance, which he declined, stating that insurance no longer reimburses for them. While I continue to believe that Dr. Scaderi is a skilled cardiologist, his bedside manner and professional conduct during this visit were completely inappropriate. To make matters worse, my mother was subjected to an unnecessary echocardiogram during this visit, despite having completed one in May as part of her routine checkup. I do not typically write complaints, but this experience was deeply disappointing and distressing. I feel it is important to share this encounter so that others are aware and can make informed decisions when seeking care. Patients deserve respect, professionalism, and compassion, especially elderly patients who go through great effort to attend their appointments.

I found I have more than the 1 issue to be concerned about recently (I am seeing my Vascular…read moreDr/Sugeon: Dr. Raid Adoumie for my Aortic Aneurysm, He gets 10*'s from me!). I was sent to "Cardiologist" Dr. Nadia Curran for clearance to have vascular surgery to fix my Anurisum (She too is also an exceptional Dr. 10*'s for her too). Seems I have "Aortic Stenosis" which I was not aware of and it could be a possible issue. I was mixed up & nervous about the Anurisum surgery an thinking remarks/results were about the "narrowing" of those veins when (I googled for a little more info) I saw it was narrowing of heart valve which I admit spun my wheels a bit?which then made me feel I needed to speak to Heart Surgeon to explain more in depth as I interpreted the issue was the Anurisum not an additional issue. Which is why I'm doing THIS Review and my request for a 2nd Opinion (seeing a "Cardiac Surgeon") I called Dr. Curran office around closing on a Friday and explained my confusion, she herself returned my call 1rst thing that following Monday morning. Answered my questions & understanding my concerns to speak to a Surgeon (Dr Healy whom she would reccomend) as she is not a Surgeon herself. He would explain that particular issue and the procedure to fix it but he did not feel it needs to be done as of yet? I brought my hubby along this time for that 2nd set of earssince I Was feeling scared & not able to comprehend the two seperate issues. Dr. Healy was awesome (another 10*'s for him also) and I'm extremely grateful I got a very quick appointment with him (the next day) he was sooo patient & absolutely took the time to listen to my concerns. His staff is GR8T!! Thank u to Marianna for the Copies she provided & Cyndi @ front desk u guys are awesome ! Your team makes a difference Vicki M
