Dr Sarraf is an amazing, knowledgeable and genuinely caring cardiologist. She literally saved my life.

As a veteran lupus warrior, my life revolves around doctors, and I have to say that Guilda Sarraf is one of the most stellar doctors I have ever known-ever, for several years now. She even catches a whole lot of things that the other specialists overlook, constantly. I know how ponderous and cumbersome reading reviews can get, but please know that Dr. Sarraf is the real deal. Her knowledge is fantastic and she knows how to relate her cardiology profession to the other interdisciplinary professions, thereby helping alleviate my symptoms. Since lupus attacks everything, this is incumbent. As a most recent example, she caught something that a primary care physician did wrong. PCP said my cholesterol was 'high', but Dr Sarraf said to completely disregard the lab values because the doctor "forgot" to have me fasting before drawing the labs. Simple things like that so many professionals carelessly miss! But not Dr. Sarraf! For once, at least I know I can relax a little knowing that this doctor will take care of me, not to mention her level of professionalism. Dr. Sarraf can be away on vacation, but she will still call me back the same day, and oftentimes right away! She is exceedingly accommodating, at the very least. I recommend Dr. Sarraf with no reservation. Keep up the great work! *Important: Regarding the online presence: Thankfully Dr Sarraf is excluded from this but regarding other offices, you must beware and take heed: **Review sites and doctors corroborate together to silence the consumer even more: When doctors pay Healthgrades, Vitals, etc. for a premium subscription, or just give them money in general, bribes, etc., as usual and as one example, they allow for doctors to hide 3 or more reviews that they arbitrarily dislike. Again, this is just one unethical tactic out of many they use. As a result, I truly applaud all those consumers who muster up the courage to write a review that is both truthful and that addresses the concerns of that doctor and its facility. There is always at least some validity in the negative reviews that are getting pummeled by bribes and bots and solicitations to get more positive reviews. Telling the truth is harder than choosing the path of least resistance and 'going with the flow'. Make no mistake about it, these providers are very savvy, so do not fall for all their deceitfulness. (Again, Dr. Sarraf excluded from here). Be wise and notice the slew of positive reviews- because they are being solicited constantly during and after appointments, to write five stars and people want to be welcomed into their office and would rather not voice the truths. In summary, I recommend Dr. Sarraf with no reservation. But please scrutinize other offices. Keep up the great work! read more

"Dr. Sarraf is booked until end of January of next year". Called 9/26 because I was referred to her by a friend. I just had a baby and suffering from high blood pressure with fatigue, and some light feeling in hands and feet. Based off the reviews most of which said they got them in after about a week, figured this would be great. Really sad that this is the new world we live in. read more

Dr. Sarraf is a wonderfully compassionate, responsible, and knowledgeable physician. I have been seeing her after being bounced around from several cardiologists within a 2 year period through UCLA. I decided it was enough to stop seeing most of my UCLA doctors as continuity of care is seriously lacking in many of the UCLA departments. I am VERY glad to have chosen Dr. Sarraf. She has been extremely proactive with regard to my cardiac care, and making sure I take care of other issues as well. I'd been experiencing heart palpitations and was desperate to be seen by a cardiologist. I first knew this would be a good business because I had to leave a message and received a call back within 10 minutes. When I explained that I didn't feel my situation was emergency room worthy but WAS giving me anxiety, they worked me into the schedule for about a week and a half later. I've since been to the office and was very impressed. I was the only patient in the waiting room which made me feel at ease given the pandemic. I was checked in quickly and taken to the room quickly. Both the doctor and her assistant were kind, polite, and attentive. They both listened as I described my issue and gave me great advice. I can not express enough about the amazing experience I had with Dr. Sarraf. Dr. Sarraf really cares for her patients and provides the most efficient exams (including her generous staff). Immediately after the examinations, you will meet with her again in her office to to go over any other questions/concerns. I have never met a Dr. like her that invests one- on -one time with each patient. This alone, speaks volume to me! What an awesome doctor! I actually found her on Google and booked through Zoc Doc. When I booked the appt I highlighted the general consultation area and the doctor called the next day to let me know she was a cardiologist, not an internist. So thoughtful. My husband and I got to the office and he was immediately taken back and she was very very thorough. Our appt started at 12:30 and she is actually still working with him as I type. She is very polite and well spoken and I can tell that she is knowledgeable in this area. Scary Stuff when dealing with the heart. Not so scary when in the hands of Dr. Sarraf. Her staff, her attitude, well it just does not get any better. Her follow up, yes that's right she personally followed up twice! Once after my testing of fluids and once after my procedure. I can't believe I haven't already written a review of Dr. Sarraf. I found her on the internet through Yelp and Healthgrade reviews last year when my husband and I were both going through some serious health issues. Dr. Sarraf is AMAZING! She takes her time with each patient, listening and answering questions in a way that you understand. We never feel rushed and we truly feel she cares for us as individuals. Dr. Sarraf is up on the latest research and will explain what is happening to our bodies, why one medication is better than another at our age, etc. She has many of the machines in her office so she can do tests right there and immediately explain the results. My friend, who is a nurse, needed to find a cardiologist asap for her daughter who had passed out. My friend is very particular about who she and her family sees and she too LOVES Dr. Sarraf. Dr. Sarraf is a wonderful physician. I've been her patient since June, 2020 following a hospital stay and diagnosis of atrial fibrillation. She is easy to talk to and she is very thorough. She really cares; she wants to figure out what the issue is and how to fix it. Dr. Sarraf goes the extra mile; she has spoken with my endocrinologist several times (my a-fib was likely caused by my thyroid being unstable); they discussed my bloodwork results and worked out adjustments to the medication I take for hypothyroidism. Dr. Sarraf is not part of a large medical corporation, she's independent. She has called me many times to ask how I'm doing and to make me aware of test results, etc. I don't get that personal attention from other doctors I see that are part of a large medical group. I highly recommend Dr. Sarraf. You truly won't be sorry. read more

Dr. Sarraf is a true gift. I have not in my 73 years, including a year in medical school, found a doctor who spends enough time to discuss everything in a caring but detailed manner. Not only that but she does not condescend to simple talk, but detailed medical language as well. I have had several doctors who just prescribe something without explaining my condition in any detail. "take this" or do that and then on to the next patient, phone call or other distraction. I found that my last diagnosis from a very respected doctor was just flat wrong. I could not recommend any doctor that comes close to her up to date knowledge, background and devotion to making me feel understood and considers all the facets of my condition in a relaxed friendly way. Dr Sarraf is amaaaaazing!!! Ive seen so many doctors who just care about nothing but making money. She genuinely cares for her patient. I dont have insurance and a cash patient. She is very considerate and will make sure that everything will be covered or answered before u walk out of her office. Its so rare to find a specialist who put their patients first than their financial gain. I trusted her and did all the recommended tests. And even after we found out that my heart's functioning normally, she still spent over 60mins with me to thoroughly explain everythin! OK. So, this morning, I get this phone call from Dr. Sarraf wishing to discuss my recent review.. As it turns out, this was all just a terrible misunderstanding perpetuated by an insufficiently trained receptionist. I quite enjoyed my little chat with the Good Doctor and even set-up an appointment for this coming Tuesday. I will update this post subsequent to my upcoming meeting. Dr. Sarraf should be teaching a class in patient relations in medical school -- she's that good. She listens to everything you have to say, answers all your questions, and makes sure to explain heart health on a level that matches your knowledge level. She'll take all the time you need to make sure your questions are answered and that you understand the next steps to take. She'll also go out of her way for her patients. For example, when her echocardiogram machine unexpectedly went down while I was in her office, she apologized profusely (even though it wasn't her fault) and then came in on her day off the next day so I could get the the test done as soon as possible. Dr. Sarraf also called me with my lab test results while she was supposed to be on vacation. She has seen both me and my husband, and we're 100% satisfied with her warmth, compassion, and knowledge. read more

Dr Sarref is truly an amazing person. My wife was having tons of heart issues at the age of 29 years old. We visited the hospital several times and they could not find ways to help manage her symptoms. She was diagnosed with atrial attack cardia. Her Dr at the time put her on all kinds of medication which never seem to fix the issue. Then one day out of the grace of god, I was lucky enough to meet this wonderful woman at a health fair event. We chatted a little and she told me she was a cardiologist. It was like god answered my prayers by putting us together that day. Doctor Sarraf seen my wife and decide to took her off all the medication(which where not helping anyways) and put her on magnesium oxide. Within weeks this help manage all of her symptoms and put her back in a great place. I am happy to announce she is doing better than ever and we now have an amazing family together. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to find a doctor who loves to help people. Who has great bed side manner. Who called my wife during some of the hardest days, just to see how she was doing(on the weekend!)You are a great role model of what a doctors should be. Dr. Sarraf came highly recommended by my niece, so I booked an appointment. I was beyond amazed how she eased my fears and spent over an hour with me on my very first visit. She also has all the necessary testing equipment right there in her office which is a HUGE plus. After each visit, she takes you into her office and goes through all tests results, comparisons, and gives you wonderful advise on diet/supplements. She actually called my doctor over a mediation I was currently taken and had concerns with, right then and there while I was sitting in her office. I recently called her office on a major Holiday weekend and left a message assuming I would get a return call on Monday, but she contacted me within an hour on Memorial weekend! I've never seen such compassion from any doctor who truly cares about the well being of her patients and is not just another pill pusher.
