I'd give Echo Valley Farm a negative rating if I could. The owner was rude when I simply asked about her farming methods. She became short and curt, and as I shared my experience with raw milk in other states, she acted superior and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. What really disturbed me was how hateful she was when speaking about other local raw milk sellers--she only had negative things to say, especially about one provider in particular. Despite her attitude I bought a gallon of milk to try because I wanted to be nice and try it for myself. The milk tasted like the cows had been eating field onions or grapefruit peels, so her "fresh" milk tasted spoiled to me, probably because she doesn't control their diet as well. When I asked to try another gallon, she argued with me and insisted nothing was wrong with her milk. The attitude, the quality, and the price made this a completely unsatisfying experience from beginning to end. I will never spend another penny here. read more
