They offer cremation and I'm grateful for the angels at CVH.

Actually, the professional staff are great and have been a wonderful team to care for my pets as…read morewell as livestock. I called when they had a new gal learning the ropes. She was very nice and to be honest I will be grateful when she is fully on board as she was way more professional than the gal who was there as a fully functioning member. The new gal explained how she had no idea and could not help me so I said maybe I do need to speak with another who does know. Got the front desk gal who then told me I should get that info myself ( which I have never had to do, told me of new system ( which I am familiar and have had used there before) and then she brought up corona, which is fine. She then told me how wrong I was for telling me to have someone else help me, how dare I. I was really happy with the new learning gal...so had no clue what she was talking about. She then went on about the tech calling me, which was totally fine. I then explained that I was fine with the new gal and had no issue with her but did need an answer. She just started going back on and to be honest...I was fully insulted as a customer. Somewhere I believe this person thinks the clients work for them, or at least the clients don't require respect. Does she forget? We, the clients pay a ton of money to have our pets cared for. I have never bounced a cheque or tried to get out of paying. The last debit transaction was over $500, of which I paid. I finally got tired of her going on and finally just told her to shut up. I actually said it 4 times ( I wasn't yelling it either), then told her I was done with her and would wait for call. Believe it or not, I had to call again as my clients had a health cert timeline question. When would I figure the appointment possibly happen? I got the negative gal and told her I had had to call back as I had gotten a question as to how far out I might expect the appt. Fair enough as the transporter is pregnant and a valid question for her. I was then informed tech was going to call me. I told the gal I would be letting the med personal know of this call. She told me how she had already told them of my "yelling at her and threatening". Really? I finally told her that I would explain how she had knee jerked over nothing and to twist facts, like "yelling" that never occured was wrong as well as bitchy and unprofessional. It's the end of the day and no call from any "techs". The vets at this office are great and do good work. Sadly, the front desk is no place for unprofessionalism, irritable behaviour or just downright rudeness. I am hopeful of the new gal who is learning as she was pleasant and upfront. This behaviour of the front desk gal, as rude as it was has sent me to another vets office and the prices are the same and they are experienced with livestock. I have always made it a point to give business to local businesses where we live. I sadly won't be coming in again. I don't know what the employee problems are, but I don't think I should need to know or get hit with the negatives stemming from them.

They were so understanding of her needs and mine and took extra steps to help keep costs low. Dr. Christal was amazing and took such great and gentle care of my puppy when she was sick that it was more like a spa trip than a hospital trip and her after care instructions helped get my girl back to her goofy and playful self in only a couple days. This is going to be the future home of all my pet care needs.

When the info was given to us, she was more worried about money. She held a interac fob in front of us like it was a dog toy. We were given options of surgery for our dog. It was going to cost just about $5000 with only a 50/50 chance of survival. She made it seem like they were the only vets that could do this surgery. Unless we went to the states to get it done. Then she held the interac fob in our faces. Then "Dr Crystal" told us that the other option was to put the dog down with a cost of $500 plus the cost of cremation. Then she continued to hold the interac fob in front of us. She made it seem like it was all about money. And not the health and surgery for our dog. They wouldn't even budge on the cost of surgery. "Dr. Crystal" forced us into putting our dog down. Our family dog. I'll never take or support this veterinarian or pet hospital again. Even after we put the dog down we were asked to see our dog one last time. After about 30 seconds...there was "Dr. Crystal" with her interac fob. Just waiting to get paid. It was disgusting on there attitudes and service. Totally disgusted with "Dr. Crystal". You should be ashamed.
