It did not mention the service would be paid despite being a model, my fault for assuming. I spoke with Bella who got all my personal information including address and credit card number. At the end of the conversation when we picked an appointment date/time, she advised me the service would be $150 and that I am getting a credit towards the service. I personally feel this was something that should be mentioned at the very beginning so the client can change their mind. Before my appointment, I received two separate messages stating it was canceled on two separate dates. I had to call twice to confirm that it was not cancelled. Once I spoke with the owner and the other time another girl at the front desk. They both were apologetic and rescheduled the appointment. I was annoyed and frustrated by having to call twice to verify that my appointment wasn't canceled. Check out the attached screenshots with my name and the messages I received. During the appointment, the lash tech took 2.5 hours. They looked nice but nothing worth the alleged $250+ they said they start their prices at. The tables to get your lashes done are out in the open right by the front desk, which doesn't feel safe or comfortable. At the end of the appointment, the tech told me I HAD to purchase a lash care kit. The girl at the front desk told me that the care kit is only $85 and it would bring my total to $235. When I say she would NOT let me leave without purchasing at least the lash wash, I'm not kidding. I felt hassled and uncomfortable trying to explain that I only was prepared to financially part with the service fee only, which I set aside for myself this month to treat myself. Now to the fill appointment... I had it scheduled on a Monday and received 4 calls, one voicemail and a text message on Saturday. They were asking to reschedule because the artist was sick. I understand being sick and needing to reschedule however, I was already irritated because my initial appointment got canceled twice, and now they also wanted to reschedule the fill. Due to my work schedule and my husband's work schedule I would not be available for a while, and I advised them of that. I attached screenshots of the messages where I ultimately told them I would not be returning.

It didn't hurt at all. It tickles a tad as she places each eyelash. I asked for a slight lash enhancement. I haven't worn mascara for years, though I wear make-up. My eyelashes are hard to find these days. I'm so pleased with the results. My eyes look like somethin', somethin' is different - but the lash enhancements are subtle and appealing. Thank you, Kristi. I asked my piano student's mom for the technician's contact information and that's how I was introduced to Kathy... I checked out their Yelp page at the Claremont location in San Diego and I found a picture that I liked. It said LIGHT HYBRID set... KATHY was very NICE and GENTLE with my lashes. I enjoyed the experience there with her very much... The EYELASH glue does STING a little (very tolerable) which might cause temporary watery eyes but, it goes away right after it dries up... She did a very nice and natural wispy look on me. My ONLY concern is I wish there was a bit more VOLUME and evenness. I expressed to her how I felt and she said she can help adjust it for me. I hope she can help give me the look I desire. I will post an update... UPDATE: Kathy adjusted my lashes with more volume and I love the new lashes!
