However, her availability can get degraded when she has more clients who all demand her availability at the same time and her other business events. Ann's knowledge on properties is stronger in San Mateo, Foster City. For other areas, she relies on market data but without in-depth knowledge of the properties in that area, such as conditions of the house and the neighborhoods and whether your house can fetch a better price than those on the market. I guess it's all due to her not enough actual viewings of properties in the area to make an informed decision of how much your property can fetch. If you're a seller, then you're at a disadvantage because she doesn't have the in-person local expertise in the area and can suggest a much lower price than your house can fetch. Thus, your house will be sold for a much lower price. Keep in mind that your best interest (which is to sell at a higher price) is not always the same as the agent's best interest. Agents' best interest are to close the deal fast so that they can move on to the next client. So, always trust your own instincts if you're a seller.

I recently moved back to San Francisco from living overseas and was referred to Rachel by a dear friend who's a real estate agent and recently moved to the East Coast, who said Rachel was only agent she would refer to in San Francisco-simply the best to work with. I interviewed Rachel and several other agents as it's one of the craziest real estate markets right now, and I wanted to make sure I had the right agent to help me navigate it. I chose Rachel and Julian as they seemed to be the best communicators, the quickest responders, very honest, and the most aggressive and on-the-pulse of the 5 real estate teams I met. Boy, did I choose wisely! From the minute our search started, both Rachel and Julian were in communication several times throughout every day, and always got back to me straight away. They accompanied me on tons of brokers tours, and showed me some off-market properties as well. Their advice was spot-on and they even talked me out of overbidding on a few properties in a market where people are often bidding 25% over asking price. When I was ready to make offers they made it happen quickly and seamlessly. I ended up getting the 3rd place I put an offer on-and by far the best place and best deal that we found on our 6 week search. Rachel ended up finding me an amazing gem-and in a very crazy and aggressive market she got me my new condo for $200,000 under its valuation and almost $100,000 under it's original asking price in a very desirable and trendy location-anyone familiar with the current market in San Francisco knows that's almost unheard of. But, Rachel made it all happen-and happen quickly while she was on a personal vacation in a place with very little cell phone reception. Yup, that's how awesome she is.
