Whole Come Restaurant Supply is a restaurant supply store that mainly focuses on serving Asian…read morerestaurants. Bonus points for being open to the public and small purchases. Unfortunately, no dice on my search for the perfect (and cheap) stock pot. The prices were good but the pot shapes weren't quite what I was looking for. They've got most of what you'd expect from a restaurant supply store: sieves, spiders, dishes, pots, and utensils. They also have collection of used and refurbished equipment for anyone who needs that sort of thing. In addition, the staff was very helpful in making a recommendation for a guy who does renovation and repair work for an industrial stove that is vexing me. On this visit, I walked out with a nice stainless steel shaker for cheap (goodbye old-and-busted, you served me well) along with a sturdy bottle/can opener.

They didn't have it; they had only stainless steel pots. I am glad that I found several different iron pots in stock in Whole Come Restaurant Supply. It has a pot divider (separator), which we call Ying Yang pot. The prices are reasonable; I can say this, after I had visited several kitchen cookware distributors. In addition, the store services were excellent. He explained to me on kitchen knives, kitchen shears. Yes I can tell he is very knowledgeable and he is definitely willing to help his customers. The only thing they don't sell is fresh baked bread to go with that restaurant attire on their shelves. Trash can, pizza peels, chef aprons, citrus juicers, refrigeration units, sauce pans, delicatessen hardware - the list is long. Did I say fair prices? Do yourself a favor, whether you are an individual, or a business drop into this location and see what you have been missing out on for all the years you were driving on Highway 85 north and blinked your way pass the exit. Honestly, you should refer to Alex H.'s review, as it is spot on. I am throwing in my two cents,…read morebecause this place deserves it. It is not fancy; nothing like your local Williams-Sonoma, Sur la Table, or Crate & Barrel. But you may find things that you can't at those places. I think my first time coming here was 4-5 years ago. I am an amateur home baker and cook and after reading through blogs and scouring different websites dedicated to food, I get ideas to make new dishes. Some of these require certain receptacles or tools that I don't readily have in my kitchen cabinets (which are brimming with stuff, because I have insufficient storage due to apartment living... wah, wah, wah). Restaurant Equipment Market (REM) has saved the day for me, especially on occasions when I could not stand to wait two days for Amazon Prime to deliver reasonably-priced kitchen goodies to my home. I have gotten cake pans, a meat tenderizer mallet, candy thermometer, an awesomely wide stainless prep bowl, and sweet bread knife from this place. Today I spotted pots and pans and cutting boards that will most likely end up in my kitchen at some point. Some of the things here are not very attractive, so if your aim is to buy kitchenware that combines form and function and you have the budget for it, by all means, go to the fancy places and acquire all that you need. This girl who is always looking for holes-in-the-wall will not shy away from getting more things to help me further my kitchen sorcery.

I love this store; if you're a foodie, you should know about it and love it too. I first went there…read morein search of one of those mammoth rolls of clear plastic wrap they use in restaurant kitchens, and ended up outfitting half my kitchen, over the course of a few visits. This is a dual-business, with HM Store Fixtures being on the right, as you look at the shop-front; the restaurant supply half is on the left. As you walk in the front door, you find yourself in the dishware/flatware/silverware/barware section. It's geared heavily towards the Asian restaurant market, but there's a little bit of everything there. If you're a budding home Asian cook, you'll find cups, plates, tea sets, sushi sets to your heart's content. If you're simply looking for good, solid white dinner plates that stand up to heavy use, and that you don't have to cry if you break one, you can buy 'em by the piece or the set here. Restaurant-grade barware is also a great score for the home kitchen, and you'll find all the jiggers, strainers, wine keys, tumblers & shakers in this front part of the store as well, and for prices that won't break your budget. Then, you amble into the back, and angels sing out, I swear; they did for me. Have you always wanted to cook in your own chef's jacket? Good selection of uniform supplies on the front wall, by the door. Knives are in the counters & on the wall to the right. There aren't going to be any Messermeisters or Forschtners there, but good, solid restaurant-grade knives that'll stand up to being rolled over by a Mack truck for great prices. There are aisles chock-full of all the stuff that you always wanted in your kitchen but could never find, and stuff you never thought about before. Those stainless-steel pans they drop into buffet counters & salad bars? Got 'em, with lids; this is Tupperware on steroids, folks. Try reheating something in plastic containers in a conventional oven. I ended up finding pizza screens, a 4" pizza wheel, pizza platters & a wooden paddle, all for under 25 bucks. I completed my setup with some unglazed Saltillo tile from a flooring shop (trick I learned from Alton Brown), and now some of the best pizza in town is made at my place. I also ended up finding that mammoth roll of plastic wrap, and don't have to worry about buying that for quite some time. I found 500-count boxes of the foodservice plastic disposable gloves for 4 and a half bucks, and they make handling raw meats so much easier & safer at home; look for those at the very back of the store. Get some, you'll thank me. I scored a dozen of the stainless steel sauce cups and a towering stack of 4" mise en place bowls - also stainless - for a miniscule price as well; nothing like being able to serve guests sauces on the side. The selection is too big to list here, obviously, but you get the idea, this place has got it all. If you're a local restaurant owner reading this, you should check this place out; chances are good that, when you need something, you need it now, not on the next truck. This place has the stuff you need at great prices, and you can have it in your kitchen making you money today. If you're a home cook, breeze right on past those retail superstores, because you'll have a kitchen that can crank out anything, and on a budget, after a visit or two here.

Heavy on the Asian influence (but this is in character for this part of ATL) and if you need this sort of stuff, that's even better. I was looking for more mundane items, and boy did they not disappoint! Lots of variety, sizes/lengths, and makes (rubbers, metals, wood, and plastic! Oh my!) Also, pricing is outstanding, for buying new, restaurant quality cookware, it's a steal! Also, I found literally every thing I came for today. One pass. They also stock tons of items I didn't need, but you should know about. From cake decorating supplies, to flatware, dish-ware, kitchen tools, kitchen equipment, even down to the aprons, chefs' coats, and the aforementioned Asian influence: Kimonos I was happily impressed and so glad I gave it a try. On my way out, they were still friendly and chatted me up about where I was from, etc. Give them a shot! I'll be back for sure! (For the record, I was stocking a friends house for cooking, so I bought sheet pans, ladles, thermometer, tongs, serving spoons, spatulas, and a cheese grater. )
