    My chicken coop

Super professional, reasonably priced, responsive, and very friendly and easy to work with! Carrie did a great job caring for my chicken coop for a week. Sent daily pics and a status report of all the girls, took excellent care of them. Followed all my neurotic care instructions. Will 100% be a repeat customer and will recommend to anyone looking for a pet sitter.

    Dogs walking with Rojer

Rojer is so wonderful with our dogs, and is even patiently teaching the young impulsive lab mix to walk in a loose leash! He's a regular, trusted walker and now takes both of my dogs on happy walks while I work at home. What a great, communicative, adaptable dog walking and sitting company, with gifted employees.

I highly recommend Ellaree & her employees. Ellaree as a business owner is highly professional and is always willing to work with my schedule, even if I need a walk on short notice. I have had two different walkers take my dog out & both of them met us beforehand for a consultation and are very experienced with dog behaviors, which is a must as I have an energetic GSD who can be finicky with other dogs. My dogs walking skills & attention skills have improved since receiving walks with EC Petcare, which is certainly an added bonus! I completely trust Ellaree and her judgement with the employees she hires, which is a must for me since I'm not going to let my dog leave my house with just anyone! The updates on behaviors, pictures, & after walk info is appreciated. Thank you!! - Megan & Ada

I reached out to EC Petcare last year in my search for helping me train my dog to walk on a leash without pulling. Ellaree responded very quickly and even though I was just outside of their current service area she kindly reached out to one of her trainers to see if he would be willing to take me and my dog on as a client. He accepted and it's been smooth sailing ever since. Nick has been so great with feedback on how to best meet the needs of my dog. He explained behaviors in a way that made sense. His training walks have done a world of good. My dog no longer pulls on his leash and doesn't chase squirrels when he sees them! We've now transitioned to tri-weekly walks without training and Nick is always great about letting me know when he's on his way. It's super cute to get pictures of my dog while he's out on his walks with Nick. I would highly recommend EC Petcare. Thanks Ellaree & Nick!!

EC Petcare is the best and Ellaree is absolutely amazing!!!! I had been struggling to find a good walker for my 7 year old Affenpinscher Frederick, that was reliable and also able to help us train him. We adopted Frederick only a few months ago, and he came to us not having been well socialized, so he can be a bit reactive towards other dogs. Ellaree and her team have been so amazing at helping us work on his reactiveness, and they take the best care of our little nugget while we are at work! They always keep us informed on how he's doing with other dogs and general updates on his daily walks, and not to mention they send the CUTEST photo updates! I have noticed such a difference in him since we've started using EC Petcare, I would recommend them to anyone!!

We used Tails and Trails 3 times with mixed results. Important to know- you create detailed notes with the owner (Jeff) on how to access your building, routines, where leashes are, etc., etc., when you have your introductory visit. Our instructions ask that the handler only feeds the cats their canned food, nothing else. 1st time, week-long trip (June 2024)- handlers were 2+ hours late regularly. While this wasn't the biggest issue, we don't have a doggie door and that level of lateness pushed the pup's bathroom breaks longer than we're comfortable. But, we liked the service offered and adjusted how often we scheduled handler visits for the second and third visits. 2nd time, 1 week of walks while both of us were gone for longer than 8 hours (September 2024)- Great! Annie (I'm not disclosing employees' full names for their privacy) had no problems and was very helpful. 3rd time, overnight away- 4 visits requested: Sat afternoon and evening; Sun am and afternoon (October 2024)- Day 1- We left the house at 8 am and scheduled feeding/walk visits for about 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Around 1:25 pm, Chloe (office manager) texted me to ask if we had scheduled for 7:00 am that day. When we said we hadn't, a communication between Chloe and a handler led to the 1:00 pm visit being skipped. We talked with Chloe that evening and she said the handler would roll the afternoon and evening visits together, apologized for the miscommunication between herself and the handler, and credited our account for the mistake (all great). The handler arrived around 7:00 pm. They had a difficult time accessing the building so Chloe texted us to say the handler would hang out for a little longer before leaving if they couldn't get access. Once they did get into the building, they couldn't find the food or leash. The access information, food instructions, and where the leashes are were all in the instructions. The handler fed the pets and took the pup for a 15-min potty break. Since we were only gone for a night, we didn't book anyone to stay overnight. We considered cutting the trip short and wish we had. Day 2- Oscar was our handler. We got notifications that both visits were completed and everything seemed to have gone smoothly. When we got home, a glass jar with cat treats had been taken from the closed closet and left open on the counter. When we got home, there were treats all over the counter and SHATTERED GLASS MIXED WITH TREATS all over the floor. All three cats had engorged stomachs. While Chloe apologized and said she'd speak with Oscar the next day, we didn't hear back from Tails and Trails' manager or owner. We'll be anxiously monitoring our furbabies for a few more days.

After spending 2 weeks with Ryan and Mandy, so far so good. After we brought Ka La home we noticed how well mannered she is. Ka La has not gnawed on my arm since she has been back and has not jumped on anyone. When we picked up Ka La, Ryan was very professional and patient with us while explaining the E collar and commands. He was very detailed during training and sent us a very detailed email also to help us remember everything (a lot to remember). My daughter and I are very visual so I wish I recorded him on my phone to watch later. I would highly recommend that if allowed. The E -collar is very effective. I did take her off leash without it and she was perfect for a tenth of a mile walking. She did not try to sniff the bushes like she normally does. I highly recommend Training with them especially since they offer unlimited retraining lessons and allow you to contact them anytime you have questions. Oh, and they were very sweet to Ka La. she had her first bday with them and they celebrated it with her!

We tried multiple other training classes and techniques in the Portland area but none of them were able to help us with Bumper's leash aggression, pulling, and stubbornness. We were at the point where we were hesitant to take him anywhere because of how naughty he was. After doing much research and reading all of the excellent reviews, we decided to try Off Leash K9 Training. Although Ryan and Mandy were located in Eugene, we decided do the two-week course where Bumper stayed with them 24/7. We had doubts about whether or not it would work because of how stubborn our kiddo was, but he came back a different dog! No he is not perfect and he still acts out, but he is soooooo much better than before and we feel comfortable taking him out in public. Ryan and Mandy even extended his training for an additional week at no cost because he wasn't making the progress they had hoped he would. When we finally picked up Bumper after the three weeks, Ryan spent over two-hours with my wife and I to go over Bumper's trainings and commands. He was very patient and did a great job explaining everything. Yes the training is very expensive, more than I ever thought I'd pay for dog training, but the benefits of a well behaved beagle are priceless. Ryan and Mandy also run a dog rescue on site so it was great to know Bumper would not be alone. We will definitely be using Ryan and Mandy again for all of our training needs. Thank you!

My dog who used to inhale his food at mealtime, actually asked to do training exercises and eat his dinner as the reward!
