Below are the instances I remember, aside from her general attitude being unfriendly. Heidi was snippy with me from my first appointment when I asked a question about the form I had to fill out for Kaiser. It's clear she doesn't like Kaiser due to this and a previous post. One time I told her that I still had numbness in my foot and she asked me if she thought she should put a needle in the middle of my foot. I was confused as to why she was asking me this and said "I don't know, if you think it will help." I could tell she was irritated by that answer and she proceeded to jam the needle abruptly in my foot. It was very alarming. I was sick for an appointment and had to cancel the morning of, and her text to me was very cold about needing 24 hour notice in the future. I decided to never return. Finally, I was going through some old mail and saw I had a bill saying I owed for that visit I had to cancel. I texted her about it and she said I owed that plus $2 from a previous visit. I said I didn't know I had to pay for a cancelled visit and sent the payment. She later replied saying she was confused what I meant. I told her I had to cancel my appointment and yet I was still charged and that was never told to me I would still have to pay. She then wrote me a long text about why she did the charge and said she would refund me since it was a mistake on her end. She also told me "no need to be upset" and I said I wasn't I was just asking why I was charged which I thought was valid. She then wrote me "good luck", which I think we all know what she really meant by that.

It came on suddenly, literally overnight, and just didn't go away. I'll spare the details, but it was severe, and impacted my freedom to do things like going to Disneyland as I could not risk getting an untimely urgent urge. I underwent a number of medical tests which were inconclusive, took antibiotics, phsyllium, probiotics, and more. All to no avail. Digestive enzymes, 2 with each meal, helped somewhat. After 11 months, I began looking into naturopaths and Ms. Pamela Hird Klein came up in the search. Although a homeopathic practioner vs. naturopath, I was drawn to her. I read nearly everything on her website before calling. We scheduled a session for a Monday and met for about 2 hours. She was a very pleasant, and attentive listener, and guided the conversation with specific questions. On Tuesday she let me know she had a remedy, and I arranged to pick it up Thursday. The miracle started the very day I met with her. That night, I had an uninterrupted night's sleep, the first in many many days. I quickly and steadily improved. By the time I saw her on Thursday, I had already begun having more normal bowel movements. This is supposed to be to be a medical office and mistakes of this nature are very problematic. They did however immediately charge my credit card for the medication but failed to process the order. Their attitude was troubling and unfortunate and they did not offer to advice on how I could effectively get back to the routine I had. They are nice people but niceness doesn't cut it when you're dealing with medication.
