Ebert's sheer volume of merchandise really took me aback when I walked in. I agree with another reviewer that it is overwhelming, but it was not un-navigable. There was merchandise stacked literally four or more layers tall, and the aisles were narrow, so don't plan to bring your stroller there. There was tons and tons of furniture: dressers, chairs, armoires, cabinets, tables...you name it. Also, I might have counted 79 white glass pitchers and dozens and dozens of decoys. There were clocks, lamps, some beer signs (but overall not a lot of signs), and even some statues. I didn't notice a lot of dust or spider webs on any of the merchandise. The prices were not low, but maybe they are negotiable, I'm not sure. However I have to say that after going to Ebert's and then stopping by the place next door, Ebert's was more appealing to me. read more

Ebert's is right next door to another antique mall and the two couldn't be more different. As with any antique shop, what you like/collect will determine how you feel. If you're into farmhouse furniture, old decoys, mantel clocks or oil lamps, Eberts is your place. There are several big barn spaces stacked 10' high with dressers, cupboards and hundreds and hundreds of chairs. The owners are a nice older couple who obviously have a passion for these categories - most things seem to be from the Victorian era to maybe the 20's. Condition obviously varies, and there's a breathtaking amount of stuff crammed into the space making it hard to see everything easily. That said, it actually isn't especially dusty. Aisles can be quite narrow and I definitely worried about a pile of chairs falling on me (not implying things are unsafe, it's just so much stuff piled up, you know?). Anyway, if this kind of stuff if your jam or if you're looking to furnish a B&B, Eberts will make for an interesting visit. read more

Big dusty barn, but this place is filled with beautiful antiques. I saw an old walnut 2 drawer file cabinet I would have bought except that I have to fly home! If you want a magnificent mahogany Victorian bed and dresser set, it's here. They also have loads of oil lamps, both glass and copper, and beautiful, well-made woven baskets of every size and shape that seem to be new. Look for small at the mall next door. They're both worth a drive. read more

For over 10 years this has been our go-to antique shop for furniture. HUGE variety and selection at some very reasonable prices. Lots of antique knickknacks too. Not sure why some reviewers state high prices. From our searches they are generally one of the lower priced shops for quality furniture. They do knock a bit off the price if you ask. I would say about half of the furniture is ready to use and the rest you will need to refinish. Lots of bargains to be found. read more

This place is mostly old furniture like wash stands, comodes, and chairs. It is stacked two or three items high, some complete with spider webs and dust. Prices are a little high, almost as if numbers were picked out of thin air (a small tube television for $49). Many items are either poor reproductions, stripped of paint and not refinished, or have seriously cheap hardware. An overwhelming amount of stuff. read more
