We bought our first power recliner a year ago here. Sales staff were friendly and helpful, not pushy. Sadly the chair has had electrical problems. The power source has died for the 3rd time in a year. At this point we really don't trust getting this chair fixed. Maybe a lemon. They have been very accommodating, offering a new chair or store credit to replace. I am grateful for their prompt and courteous responses. I highly recommend Eaton Young. read more

Was going to purchase new furniture but was confronted by the mask police. They told us to mask up. So we turned around and left. We went to ANOTHER furniture store and spent $4,000 since we were treated with respect. Like they say get woke , go broke. read more

They delivered furniture today they refused to put together and it's stained and damaged no wonder why they refused to put it together and the Owner is refused to make it right after spending 3500 for damaged and stained furniture your customers get treated like crap and furniture you can't even use in your home . The owner should be a shamed of scamming people and doing them wrong . My bank is aware and so is the the manufacturer of the furniture and not happy at all . So now I have to go else where and spend more money to just buy a decent piece of furniture read more

I have shopped at Eaton Young Galleries for 20 years and love it. I always with work with Lois Metcalf, who is superb at her job. She has helped me a great deal over the years. I also worked with George before his retirement and with his son Mac who has taken over. Mac is also doing a great job! His customer service skills are much better than his dads ;) but all in all great people!! I would highly recommend their services. I bought a Kingsdown mattress and within one and a half years is so lumpy that you can not sleep on it and the box springs are warped. It had a 10 year warranty and went I went to the company to complain they sent me a mattress kit to take pictures and send to them and I did. They said that it was within the guidelines and comfort is not part of the warranty. Why do you buy a mattress??? FOR COMFORT. I will never buy anything else at Eaton Young much less a Kingsdown Mattress. read more

If I could leave a 0 star I would. I walked in with my 70yr-old mother 2 weeks ago to window shop at Eaton-Young Galleries. I was approached by the owner who insisted that he would help us. We assured him that we did not need help and just wanted to see what living room sets they had available. He became frustrated and stated "I know how this goes, I have been doing this for 40yrs". He insisted on following us around to look at furniture. We did not push the matter further and decided to try to enjoy the experience. As we continued to shop we started to discuss the price of a furniture set. My mother was interested in the set and asked if he would take $50 off of the set. At this point the owner lost it. He started yelling at my 70yr-old mother telling her that he was a honest guy and asked if he should instead price his furniture higher so he could be bartered with. He continued to yell at her for 5 minutes while we stood there dumbfounded. When he finally stopped yelling at my mother we said nothing and walked out. My mother was so upset about the experience that she could barely hold her tears until we made it out the door. A simple "no" or "this is the best I can do" would have been understandable. We will never be back to this place and will continue to spread our experience with family and friends. We instead went to Roderick, which was an amazing experience and we purchased a beautiful set. read more
