Never received a call or a delivery finally called the other day and was told they weren't sure if it was ever delivered or not. Was supposed to deliver it a few days ago, never showed up but when I called said they couldn't bc of shortage on people. Set up a delivery for today at 4:00 and still nothing. They got their money and I have nothing. Very unprofessional!!! Hoping to at least get my money back

Yes,I liked a mattress but I was shopping around. This was the second place I had gone. But he said "this sale had been scheduled to end Sunday but was extended for a uncertain time and I should put $5 down to hold the price. Which was a good idea, were I going to actually buy a bed there. Everything about me and my body language and saying "well I am still looking around and I may want to bring my husband in" should have told him i was trying to leave. ended up putting $5 down just so I could leave. I am able to go back in and get it back. It's totally refundable, but I'm questioning if it's worth the hassle. Also i did the bed thing where it tells you what bed types work best after you lie down and it calculates. I never once saw on the paper it printed out, what it said. Nor did he tell me what kind it says would be good for me. Just showed me 5 models and told to try them. Not sure if they do that with everyone or not. Of corse it got talked up to the best and most expensive serta there. $1400 for a twin XL in the nice bed. I would not really recommend this place to any one unless you know exactly what one you want. And possibly want it that day if they have it in stock, store is very clean. I just personally didn't have a good time in the 25 mins I spent there. Update:they did call and offer me a discount due to my unpleasant visit to the store. Lady was polite and genuine. Also offered when I could come in to talk to her if I didn't want to talk to the previous person i saw,not sure if I will return. But it was nice of them to follow up.

I decided on the Mattress Warehouse of Winchester Kernstown, VA. This turned out to be a great decision with the gentlemen who ran this location ensuring I had the best mattress suited to my needs (they have a bed diagnostics system that they run on you). He was very knowledgeable and did not try to push the most expensive products on me but rather one that was most suitable for my needs and that was priced within my means. The next day, my mattress and adjustable base was delivered, set up and tested, and the old mattress and box spring removed and hopefully given a proper burial with full honors. -Great purchasing experience, great product, reasonable priced....and best of all, a Great night sleep after so many years! Look at the BBB rating for this company on the website first before going any further…read more You came further so let me explain the footnotes of my issue and how this company rips off customers. They will sell you a mattress, frame, etc. The product they sell (Sterns and Foster, etc.) will not back any warranty from that manufacturer. They will refer you back to Mattress Warehouse. Now even though you have a 10 year warranty on a mattress the most you will ever get is store credit even though the warranty approval form will say "replacement model or store credit". What they do is discontinue mattress models every few years so they can never give a "replacement model". They also don't know what "equivalent" means either. So the store credit gets you back in the store to spend more money. This cycle continues. Buy from anyone else except this company or Sterns and Foster.

An update to my buying experience here: The chairs were never delivered, as I was told to wait past…read morethat 26 week mark, and make it almost a year. I ordered them with time to spare, and still, my Christmas dinner guests sat on fold out chairs. The odd part was, I was told originally that my chairs were floating around on the water somewhere and just couldn't make it to shore. Then the story changed to a problem with the distribution. So, needless to say, I canceled that order and received a full refund. Fast forward to now. I ordered a solid wood bed and a new mattress with box spring. The ONLY reason I ordered it, is because I was assured that it would be (at the absolute latest) delivered in 3 weeks. I called the store yesterday to find out the status, as I'm now at the 2 week mark. I was thrilled to hear that the bed had arrived. Then, I was incredibly angry to be told that the mattress and box spring, however, could be delayed up to another month. Again, the distributor was being blamed. While that's a cute story to try and take the blame off the staff at Robert's, it's not acceptable business practice. Basically what happens here, is they will sell items to customers and have no idea when they may actually get them, but they'll tell the customer that an item will be ready by the certain important event the customer has going on. Again, I only ordered this bed here because I was assured it would be delivered before a certain date. Had they been honest about their lack of control, I'd have gone elsewhere this time and come back to them again, later. I'm now just going to go somewhere else. Permanently.
