Ordered wood pellets over the phone and the female who assisted me wouldn't give me the rebate that was sent in the mail. I mean, why would they even bother to send these out if they were not planning to honor them? I think greed and rudeness will ruin a business! Never have had a bad experience here. Keep in mind I have been shopping here and ordering mulch and landscape materials for about 15years- back when Eugene and Keith were just starting out. Has it been that long? Wow. What stands out the most about this location or this company is the service. They are Mennonite families and really take care of you from start to finish- if there is a problem they make it right and are very forthright in giving you options that are cost effective and helpful to the job you are trying to complete. Their mulch is very good, I usually go with the premium non-dyed for a classic look but to be honest my clients back when I was doing landscaping had me get different styles and colors one way or another. On a personal note I have gotten rock wall and wall for a variety of projects and Keith and the guys always as me how my jobs have turned out and remind me that there are people who recognize you and the money you spend. This was the first time that we ever took on a project like this and the folks at Ebyland helped us thru the entire project. They worked with us on selecting the the blocks for the retaining wall and the pavers for the patio along with the installation process. They delivered to our house at a time that was convenient to us. I bought a Quadra-Fire pellet stove from Eby's, and I have been delighted with the product and the service and support that Eby's provided. As to be expected with any heating system, there were a couple of tweaks that needed to be made after it was installed, and on both occasions, Eby's staff came out the same day to address the issues. The stove is working beautifully (and burning their pellets, which leave virtually no ash), and I am more than happy. I highly recommend that stove and Eby's. read more

I went in for a $10 item, struck up a conversation with Keith about landscaping ideas for my house, and came out with great ideas, advice, catalogues, and a list of contractors they recommend. He took the time to talk with me. Bought some bedding plants two weeks ago that are doing great-and they thanked me for my business. Selection is very good, service is outstanding. read more
