Nakia welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door. She was extremely patient and answered all my questions. And I had LOADS because I've always used my dad's accountant and had never filed taxes myself before. As a new travel nurse, I felt comfortable filing with Nakia. She helped me navigate the taxable vs non-taxable income and stipends and everything else that comes along with travel nursing. My appointment took about an hour. She submitted everything while I was there and let me see the outcome. They also have a link to see your return official progress. This was a great experience. I referred my fiancé to Nakia as well. The complaint line is a freaking joke. Everything you read says call with your complaints and we will try and resolve the problem or help find a solution. The three people I have talked with couldn't direct you on how to get out of an empty paper sack. They kept defecting everything back to the local Jackson Hewitt and when I would talk to the local people they blamed everything on corporate. The manager at the Parkway East and John Hawkins Parkway location is rude and needs to be fired. She said she doesn't even use Jackson Hewitt to do her taxes. Her husband does them. That's like working at a hospital and not using it when something happens. Even if you don't you don't tell someone that. I mean she lied so many times any way she could have told one more lie. I know I am not the only one she has talked down to like she talked to me. I let the people I was with listen to how she was speaking to a customer. She was going to be right no matter what I said. I have asked for the district manager to contact me 3 different times and I have yet to hear from him. They wanted to charge me $620 once they filled out my forms. They couldn't tell how much it would be before we started. The price finally came down to $395 and I didn't realize that I could take my w2 form and information I came in with and leave after they filled out the forms. I thought I had to pay for the services. I wasn't going to jail for not paying for a service complete. I have learned my lesson if I don't like a service from now on I will refuse to pay for it. All she would say is to bad you signed saying you agreed to the services and the amount. Then continued to say if you have ever had your income tax filled out before you should know you don't have to pay for the services and you could have asked for your info and left. She is nothing but a bully and the way I deal with bullies is to call them out and whoever allows them to be a bully. She also said that I was so mad because when I got out and thought about it I felt dumb over spending that money. I told her that no I was mad before I didn't realize I had a choice with having consequences and I was going to have them keep my information for not paying. I told her and the rest of the idiots I have talked to that by the time I get through no one will want to use jackson hewitt in Alabama.

Well I dont want to repaint it every 3 years so I scheduled a DRYVIT coating to be applied. Its a polymere coating that is waterprooof and much better than paint. Had to shedule the application for the 3rd week of june, 56 days after the purchase. Since I am not the only customer the company doing the dryvit work has, i was at the mercy of thier schedule. Then we get notice that our insurance company is cancelling the policy because of peeling paint!!!! They were so rigid that they could not wait 42 days for a superior coating to be applied to the foundation. This company in my opinion sucks and has no need for my business. My complaint is the fact that the employees input my information in wrong, on the pay online service. For almost a whole year I accumulated charges, as I was not able to use the convenience of the online service. My birthdate was wrong, my SS# was input wrong by one of the employees. They would call every month, after the due date, telling me I was late. My thing is why should I not be able to use a convenience that is available to all customers. They tried to correct it several times, were unable to. I was told if I brought them 147.00 that I could get my title. I feel that it is unfair for them to ask me to bring them anything, considering that I was paying late fees through no fault of my own. They keep calling me on the phone, however; if I can't speak to the owner, I don't want to speak to anyone, as he was the one who encouraged me to use them again...I am going to complain to the BBB as well. If it had been a one time occurrence, I could have looked over it...but; to have an issue, each time I used them, is unacceptable. It smacks of incompetence. I as a customer should not be held responsible for their employees mistakes.
