I reached out multiple times asking for an update after about a month without response. When I called the store on 2 occasions I was given conflicting information on delivery of the dining table. In my first call around Feb 4th I was told it had shipped. When I called a week later to ask for an update so that I could know when to expect it, I was told it would arrive a few days after shipping. When I prompted that a few days had already passed, I was then told that it would take a few weeks. In this same call when I asked for a refund for the out of stock and discontinued coffee table, I was told to pick a different item. When I asked again for a refund as I didn't want another item, I was hung up on. When I then emailed stating my intention to contact BBB, they sent an email confirming I would get my refund, then ceased communication again (and did not issue the refund). When I escalated the issue to PayPal, the seller then said we had been in communication about me choosing an alternate item for the coffee table, which was a blatant lie. I had asked for a refund multiple times at this point. Regarding the dining table, when PayPal became involved the seller now said it was "on order" and would arrive to their store mid March and would then ship to me. However PayPal investigated and determined the company provided a fraudulent tracking number and therefore refunded my full order. I think it's important to note that while the company I purchased from positioned themselves as "Sterling House", in course of PayPal's investigation the seller provided their email to PayPal as a Furniture Depot email contact. I specifically had not purchased from Furniture Depot due to the concerning online reviews, however it appears that they are the same company, and engage in fraudulent and deceptive business practices.

When I approached an employee I was told to order on line. So I did. How I wish I had read the other yelp reviews first. My experience the company has been nothing short of frustrating and stressful. I ordered 2 beds, 2 night stands & a mattress and billed 90 delivery fee. One bed was chronically on back order and held up the entire order for almost a month before i called customer service to ask what could be done. I was advised to cancel the out of stock bed to release the order for delivery and reorder the bed when it became available and call in to get the 2nd delivery charge refunded. Sounded reasonable. When i did I was told repeatedly 'too bad, not our policy to refund the delivery' no attempt to listen to me or try to resolve the issue. I was refused my right to speak to someone with the authority to help me. I pointed out good customer service was vital to the success of a business especially with social media, and I certainly wont give good reviews after this experience. The rep, John flippantly said. 'Go ahead, do what you think you have to' Really Structube? Ok. Here it is. People save yourself the trouble and don't buy from Structube. Wayfair.ca has just what you need and cares about their customers. As a postscript, my second bed was delivered with half the required hardware to assemble it. I've slept on my mattress on the floor 4 nights now and still waiting for the missing hardware!

    Myself and my family have been dealing with Paul Makur from Super Deal Furniture for many years. I…read morepurchased a Sealy Matress from Paul Makur in January of 2021. What a horrendous experience from the start. When I arrived home with my mattress I notice that there was a massive piece of wood stuck in the side of the mattress. Paul Makur didn't want to do anything with the damage - he mentioned that it won't have a negative effect on the performance of the mattress . Ok so now we are 7 months into sleeping on the mattress and the side of the mattress is bulging out. I called Paul and he asked me to drive the mattress to him and he will have someone evaluate it. I told him that I need something to sleep on and how can I bring a mattress to him if I don't have a delivery truck. Paul told me that he will give me a bag to put on the mattress! How ridiculous is this. So I have to sleep on the floor until he gets a representative to visit during a global pandemic. We asked for a refund and told him to deal with the manufacturer seeing as he was the store and I bought from him - this is what Sleep Country would do. My wife tried speaking with him and he said that he is not giving us any refund for a defective and probably not authentic mattress! Our family had dealt with Paul Makur for over 20 years and spent hundreds of thousands in his store and this is how he values our business. Do yourself a favor and buy from another more reputable store that cares about their customers. I would NOT recommend anyone to Super Deal Furniture!
