We had to insist they take a look and a week later, finally the inspector took a look. The mould was separate from the flood and they ended up covering it. Your insurance agent shouldn't be trying to stop you from being covered. Do they get a kickback if they dissuade you from making a claim? Such poor service. Apparently this person is the daughter of the owner. Maybe she is not properly trained, but this service is unacceptable.
