I don't usually write reviews unless the experiece is memorable and this certainly was. We rented a car from April 9th to April 11th in Cancun. I did the reservation online prior to the trip and we were picked up by the Easy Way staff at the airport and taken to their office which is only a 5 minute drive. The entire process of signing papers checking the car and driving off took no more than 10 minutes. The car worked great, although we could never figure out how to turn on the radio or if it worked, but we didn't check that with them before so that's on us. We paid an extra fee of 35USD to have them pick up their car at our hotel which was super convinient for us. We picked up the car at 4:00 p.m. Monday 9th and on Wednesday 11th I called them at 4:00 p.m. to make sure they'd come pick it up and I was told they would in an hour and at 5:00 p.m., Jorge shows up after having to walk all the way from the entrance to our lobby which is a very long walk under the sun because the hotel security didn't allow him to enter with a vehicule, he checks the car, the gas only had a quarter of gas which is what we left in there and we're done. We were very sure we had checked the car and hadn't left anything inside. We start walking back to our room, when two security guys along with Jorge come up behind us and to my shock, Jorge hands me my wallet. He didn't even wait for us to thank him enough or for me to get out fo my shock and give him a proper tip for what he had done, he started walking back saying "it's ok, I'm just glad you have it" and walks away along with security.
I can not explain the amount of trouble I would have had if I had lost my wallet during this trip. His act of honesty is absolutely priceless and I wish I had thanked him more but we did call easy way to let them know the have an amazingly honest employee working for them and I'm sure the universe will find its way to thank him for us.
