When I went back to pick up the pants again, two of them, the hem was just completely let out and it was frayed where you basically could see the cuts he made. The pants were BRAND new and if they had been sent to me like that, I would have returned them to the company I bought them from. And furthermore, if I told you to fix the hem, why would I want the pants to be worn when you can clearly see they've been cut. He tried to go back and forth with me and it was ridiculous. If you have bad memory or are confusing me with someone else, that's fine but please do not act like I brought in any pants that were already cut or frayed like that. You cut the pants because I asked you to make them shorter and now you try to give them to me without a proper hem?! What sense does that even make when you fixed the other hems but not these two and that's what I came in for? He is clearly very confused and I may just end up repurchasing the pants altogether and getting them tailored elsewhere because I'm not feeling confident when I try them on with the shorter length. The hem, stitching was perfect. No puckering, no pulling, hem was even, looks like I bought it that way. Then I took a top long in back to have the back update to same length as the front. It was perfect. Hem was even, no folds in the hem, perfect. A few weeks ago I finally took a really old jacket over 20 years old, that had also sat in my closet around an additional 10, thinking I could replace the cuffs myself. I couldn't believe how good the repair looks, like new! They didn't even measure my wrist, just followed the original sizing of the frayed tattered cuff. Just perfect. I recommend having all alterations done here.

(I ordered 4 shirts and the employee was working on the last 2 when I arrived, which was fine.) The second time I used Stitch by Stitch, it was much more of a hassle. I placed my order in the store and I was told to come back the next day. He didn't give a specific time so I assumed I could come anytime during the day. I tried calling before I came to assure that my order was completed but no one answered the phone. I ended up coming to the store to check on my order, in spite of the fact that I couldn't get in contact with anyone to confirm that my order was ready. I arrived at 1pm. At that time, I was told that my shirt wouldn't arrive until after 4pm but the design was ready. I asked if I could see the design, then found out that he lied. The design wasn't ready yet either. This wasn't a big deal though. He designed it right then and there and I was able to provide feedback, which was nice. He then instructed me to return after 5pm. I came at 6pm and my shirt still wasn't ready. He reassured me that he would do mine next and that it would be ready in an hour. I came back at 7pm and, of course, the shirts still aren't ready. The owner is a very kind guy! He went above and beyond to assure that I liked the shirt but he needs more help. He was working by himself and several people came in to find that their order wasn't complete. Don't use this service if you don't have a little extra time to spare. It's also pretty pricey...
