I called a day before I needed the rental to ensure they had vehicles. After we spoke of the logistics I went online and reserved the vehicle. Having to take off time from work, get a vehicle to pack up my daughter's dorm room hours away and return in a timely manner my stress levels were a little high. The process was a breeze. Justin was there in the morning when I picked up the vehicle. He adjusted the seats inside the vehicle so it would be easy for me to load it up. They ensured there was space at the rental location for me to leave my car which my daughter picked up later that day. The sign says DO NOT ENTER severe tire damage if you do. So I exited and went around. Directions led me to exit the airport. I did this 3x. So I entered the do not enter entry and was told by two different young ladies two different directions to the drop off. When I got to her the third time I said listen. I'm gonna miss my flight if you give me wrong directions again. Finally she tells me where to go. I get on the shuttle bus and everyone has the same complaint. Avis you've got to do better!

The line of people waiting is probably about 18 people long and most of them have been here the entire time I have. It is not OK to take people's legal documents!When I asked for the manager to come out of the back office, the woman who was helping us said that she was the manager. She went in the back to get a verification from someone else; that person should've come to the front. Taking a person's passport away, is unsettling to say the least. When I mentioned it to the woman who had the passport and driver's license,she says "there's cameras everywhere." Well I could've rented the car alone. I needed the other driver. When I asked what the fees were for, I was told "daily fees". They did ask me if I wanted toll coverage and when I asked if there were even tolls in the area I was going to in, they immediately said yes. There were in fact ZERO tolls. When I called the next day after reviewing the "fees", there is only a number that connects you to "customer support" in another country. They could not help with anything, including offering a phone number to the location. They recommended I just drive back to the location (100 miles away). Additionally, after checking in, they sent me out to find the car by myself in the dark with my two small children. When I couldn't find the car due to lack of signage, no one would help me. People just sat around and pointed while I hauled around my children and luggage giving me general directions that sent me in circles. They treated me like an inconvenience. Shoutout to the one amazing employee who finally helped. I was in tears leaving the location.
