This school is incredibly unorganized, which is disappointing given how small it is. The staff and faculty show little to no genuine concern for their students. After reaching out multiple times to address issues, I was consistently left to figure things out on my own. It feels like most of the faculty are only there for a paycheck rather than to actually help students succeed. I would never recommend this school to anyone. after reading this reviews i wish i had read them sooner, unfortunately (or should i say fortunately) i was unable to attend this school. just like everyone in the reviews have mentioned, lack of communication and clarity. my enrollment process has been the MOST difficult compared to other colleges/trade schools I've attended. i should have been starting this school in less than 5 days and i have yet to receive my total financial obligations and yet i am expected to be ready and start? The admin who helped me initially with the enrollment process, Adina, was very helpful. My issue is with everyone else after her. Although the process was delayed due to missing paper work on my end I never had anyone reach out to me to collect the necessary paperwork. I would have to reach out weekly to ensure they had all the required paperwork and everytime i called something else was missing, although they would ensure me they had everything they needed and would reach out if they needed something else (which they never would). i've heard good/okay things about this school from previous students who have attended, looks like there's turn over rate in staff might be the reason why things aren't as organized as a college should be. very sad they have wasted my time when i could have been enrolled in a different school. read more

Please save your money and don't go here. There are better ultrasound/medical programs should you chose to go that path. Rutgers offers a phenomenal program I wish I would have known about before pouring my heart into Eastwick's CVS program. Teachers are extremely inappropriate, there always seems to be some weird relationships going on between students and teachers, and while they think its not obvious, I can certainly tell people are getting through by this happening. You also have to look at how slim the graduation rate is here. On a side note, I was a server in Ramsey, and professors would waltz into my job, have a few drinks, talk about the misconduct of their peers and bosses, and leave to go teach a class There's zero concept to having a "life", that simply does not exist as soon as you sign a form here. They will go to every length to make it as expensive as possible, as difficult as possible to return say if you need a leave of absence. There is no forgiveness should your kid be in the hospital, or your mother passes an hour before your lab class, nothing matters at all. There is no heart, no acceptance for the unexpected, they will simply fail you. Grading: 4 exams for every 3 months and you only have a window of about 30-45 minutes to prove you understand what you've learned in about 4 practices, oh and if the heat isn't enough for you already, you only get one opportunity to do it. There are no retakes. I feel cheated of this program because I morphed my life to be a serious student. I kept two jobs within the vicinity of school, one mile, trying to pay my bills, study, and be a student. I always showed up for extra help, I even found an ultrasound lab to study in on my own because providing extra scanning time seemed to be below the means of any professor. I stayed for just under two years, but for the last year, I'd been voicing my concerns and trying to come up with a plan to be successful because I was very serious about my work. I had trouble because different departments would refuse to speak to each other over cat fights, they would ignore letters from my psychiatrist who was noticing significant weight loss in me, or straight up deny promises made in emails. If you are thinking of quitting your ultrasound program because you are worried about the environment, Eastwick has made it like that for you. Clinicals are different. There is something dehumanizing about the labs and classrooms at the college, the dullness in the professors, and their unwillingness to breed successful students. I expect a challenge, but I do not expect to be degraded, ingnored, or questioned based on how much money the college thinks I am making and whether I am worthy of being a student there. read more

Terrible school, The intro to ultrasound teacher is literally dyslexic and cannot even read her own powerpoint slides in class, Not to mention she contradicts herself at every turn and expects the students to "figure out what she meant" They WILL screw you over every possible way, from financial aid to the classes themselves. The staff and faculty do not care about the well being of their students (unless they are willing to pay a premium of course) I implore you to find a different school because it is nearly impossible to graduate without retaking courses and paying out of pocket for said retakes. If I could give this school a zero rating I definitely would. I started the 2 year sonography program in January of 2024 and had a great start. My first two semesters I ended up on the deans list and I was doing very well. The 3rd semester begins and it all goes downhill from there. It was about 5 classes i had to take for this semester which 3 of them were for certifications. Lots of students including myself had issues with our MA teacher and was also our teacher for two other classes. These issues included her showing up 40 minutes late for a 2 hour lecture, which is completely selfish especially for the people that drive to this school from far away including myself. Trying to keep us after since she came late or try sending us zoom calls on Saturday's at 9pm at night. Sending us kahoots for our tests but sent us the wrong answers to study from and then she would switch them on the tests, and after students brought it to her attention she said it was a simple mistake even though she did it for every test and gave us an attitude for it. I then went ahead and complained to the dean about her so maybe something would change... but nope it did not. Fast forward to the end of the semester i ended up failing those classes which wasn't a surprise to me. The following week i got an email with my schedule for the next semester and at the bottom it said if you failed classes your updated schedule would come in a few days. Few days go by and i don't get an email that has my new schedule but instead i got an email saying i got unenrolled from the program and that I needed to fill out this appeal form and then attend an appeal meeting to see if they would let me back in or not. I then go ahead and attend the appeal meeting. I stated to the people in the meeting that i could have done more to be more successful and owned my part in it. I also stated all the issues that myself and others were having and they denied that those issues were ever brought to light and said that no one has ever complained about these professors before which was a complete lie! I also mentioned that a lot of students were coming forward saying that they failed certain classes but the professors just pushed them onto the next semester so they are completely picking and choosing what students they want to see move on and who they don't. In some cases students failed multiple classes and never got the unenrolled email instead they just had to pay to retake the classes. These directors did not like that i knew this information and basically the next day i got an email saying they weren't allowing me back into the program. These teachers do not give a crap about their students, half of the time they are talking crap about the students to other students which is insane. This school is an absolute joke... Do not waste your time,energy,and money going here. All they care about is the money going into their pockets! read more

Save your money and find a school that is more organized. I do not recommend and if I was not near finishing I would have never bothered applying. Financial aid office is absolutely not helpful and disorganized. I had an issue with my FA and instead of providing guidance--which I have been in school before--gave me a bill with advice to contact FAFSA. Another thing is the professors constantly change their schedule with ZERO advance notice--sometimes 4 hours in advance. Please if you have a job or children do not go to this school. The Dean is rude---Go to a lesser expensive school even county schools and transfer to a 4 year school. The only good thing about the program is that it is possible to have your degree in 18 months. read more

At Ramsey I found highly qualified teachers. Interactive classes. Teachers are always ready to solve doubts at any hour. Faculty members in our college are highly knowledgeable. They are very supportive and helpful. Moreover, the course curriculum structure is based upon the current market trends to help the students acquire full knowledge of the present happening around the globe. read more

Really good School. My wife has been there for almost a year and with not understanding a lot of the terminology she has done well with the help of the teachers and staff. The other students are very good as well in working as a group and support each other. Im happy for her to go to here since it close and great for my wife who is from Costa Rica. You do need to study a lot and work hard, but that is at any college. read more

The supposed Dean William Smith is very rude. He seems to only be nice to attractive young girls. I had planned on going to this school starting in the fall which is a few weeks away, however his rudeness discouraged me from going there. My journey at Eastwick College Ramsey has been nothing short of amazing from start to finish. I have recently graduated the OTA program and am extremely grateful that this was the school I chose to attend. The Career Services Director, Jennifer Bate is excellent and dedicated to her students in every way. She truly goes above and beyond, quick to answer emails, spends time speaking with her students to ensure the right fit, what they are looking for, etc. She led me to a job opportunity within the very next day after passing my state board exam!!!! I was offered the job and have her to thank. Truly in awe and so thankful. read more

There is no rating lower than 1 star. But that is what I would need in order to give this joke and rip off of a "college" so I can not rate this pathetic, incompetent, inane joke of a school. Might as well call it trump university. There is so much to share that I suggest you get your bowl of popcorn and a comfy seat....here we go.... When I initially signed up for the COTA program, I had an October start date. 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the program, I received a letter stating that the new start date was in January. January???? I changed all of my plans in order to begin in October and no one seemed to care. I spoke with the "associate dean" of the program who is literally in need of meds. She is also a teacher there. Or was. Faculty leaves almost monthly. Hard to keep up . And by faculty I mean OT's who can't teach. Not really teachers. Only OT's. By the way, these are the good parts of this review. The DIRECTOR of the program left mid way through the term. Which is fine. However, she did not write a letter to the student body, acknowledge that she was leaving, nothing. Instead, the associate dean shared HER feelings while crying, about the director's decision. The incompetence of this place is staggering. From the "teachers", to the financial aid morons, to the "Dean" ( a whole other story). On second thought, I can't waste my time or energy going through the minutia of this ridiculous waste of money and energy that I endured only to find out that there are no full time jobs for COTA's. Only part time or per diem that begin anywhere from $15/hr to, if you're lucky, $30/hr. Run as fast as you can away from this nonsense and invest in an actual university. Proprietary colleges are the worst out there. They basically do what they want with minimal requirements in place. This Eastwick dude has a monopoly going on. Seek out real bonafide schools who have a great track record and affiliations with companies, hospitals, schools etc, so that you will be insured a job after you graduate.
