They offer day spas, night spa and one or two night spa breaks, during which you stay in an executive villa and are given vouchers to spend around the park. I had several treatments which were included in the package, including a facial and massage and a flotation wrap. All the treatments were top class and really proffessional. There is also a lovely shop on site where you can pick up the products used in the treatments. All the staff were really helpful and some of the friendliest and nicest i have come across. A kind relative bought me a voucher for the Waterfall Spa for my September birthday and by the time November had reared its ugly head, I decided the cold weather provided a good excuse to go and receive some pampering. I booked a Coconut Sugar Body Polish. After being seen by the personable staff on reception, I was provided with a lovely fruit tea, and asked to wait in a separate room. It was a delightful environment in which to relax, it was comfortingly warm and the air was filled with oils of varying aromas. The massage itself was excellent. The beautician was very friendly, explaining what she was using whilst ensuring I was happy throughout the process. I have no shame in admitting that I fell asleep towards the end of the massage, and was considerately left alone to reawaken myself and get dressed! I am on the mailing list for the Waterfall Spa and often get sent some reasonable special offers to use. Currently, there is a 2 for 1 evening pass for £45. There is the option to bring a friend or simply use the voucher twice yourself, for a evening using the spa facilities. As a recipient of a gift voucher, I would highly recommend the experience. There are a wide range of pampering packages to purchase, along with many products for the body and skin. With some of the special offers refusing to break the bank, maybe I will work on making this a regular luxury.

I LOVE this place, it is my favourite! The swimming changing rooms are nice, the exercise class…read morerooms are nice and the swimming pool is nice. The gym is lovely, it's always smelling fresh and you see the staff cleaning them regulary. There are loads of equipment and there is a seperate room for the strength training machines. Half the equipment also have TV's on them so you can plug your earphones in and watch TV such as BBC1, ITV, music channels, sports and news. It's great working out while watching neighbours :) I've not been in the sauna and steam rooms in this one but you can see in and they certainly look a lot better than the Gym in the town centre (See my other review), nice and fresh :) I have had a bit of bother lately though over swimming lessons for my child though, and at present I am sorting it out, so I will keep you posted about that and let you know what their customer care is like in a week or so :)

Get there early and you'll be let in before the others and therefore find it less crowded and more relaxing! I went on the Sunday evening session and paid just over 20 squids. In essence, this building is bloody amazing. It's an iconic listed royal baths, and the renovation here has been done just beautifully. All of the old 18th and 19th century features remain, including showers, taps, gorgeous wooden changing rooms and more. It's like stepping into a time warp, a good time warp. There is a process to follow to 'take the waters' which involves a lot of cold plunge pooling, showers, steam and heat rooms. I followed the plan exactly as directed and I felt amazing afterwards. I also had a massage with the lovely therapist Bridget. She was knowledgeable and checked out all the details about my broken back before commencing. So relaxing and she gave me a few tips for my stiff neck afterwards also - result! This spa alone makes me want to return to Harrogate. Please do go if you visit the town.

It is an ideal gift and somewhere to take your friends and family for a day to recharge the batteries. I suggest the deluxe chocolate wrap which is a delicious body treatment using cocoa. You may want to eat it but don't. If it's facials you want, then again no worries on that account. There are loads to take your pick from. Although it isn't dirt cheap, I think it offers real value for money. There are different options for whatever your budget. If you are feeling especially flush then go for a full on package for a total spoiling session. Then finish off with a visit to the baths for some steam treatments and a day of utter indulgence. This is as good as it gets.

The swimming pool is a good size though trying to avoid the oap's or kids sessions in the day was hard and sometimes got frustrated at the stopping and starting of any training. Loved the smaller cold pool adjacent the sauna and steam rooms and the gym floor itself. Great place.
