T-Bar social club is a great venue to grab a drink and to stay out of the cold. My friend and I…read morewere craving some cocktails and after having already hit every other bar in nearby walking distance, we decided to stop in here for an early evening cocktail / beer. This place gets popular so stop in early! When we got here around 6pm there were open seats at the bar and the low tables were only about halfway full. However 30 minutes later almost every seat in the house was taken. A busy and popular place during tourist season on a weekend. The beer menu and well drinks / cocktails were standard. A good menu of the basics and local beers. We also got excited when we saw that they had shots of the day called the cactus coolers but unfortunately when we went to order them we were told they ran out of ingredients (pro tip: probably they should have erased it from the board if they were out). But they were busy so we gave them a pass. I will say our bartender and server Whitney was super nice and cool. She was attentive and we gave her major props running all around with a busy bar all by herself as the bartender. She was super nice and accommodating. We begged her to make us some fun shots once the ones we wanted were out - she gave it some thought and then brought us back some fun sweet Watermelon shots. Woohooo! We had a great time and Whitney was wonderful. For drinks I went with a classic margarita and my friend a local beer. We were both very happy with our drinks. As simple as they were, they hit the spot. My margarita was super delicious and well balanced, Not too strong and good flavor. A nice lime margarita. 5/5. My friend was also content with her beer. Fun little downstairs bar to frequent. Glad we made it in and we'd definitely come back.

The philly cheesesteak and fries were a sizable portion for the price on the mountain. If you are willing to splurge a little get yourself an ice cream cookie sandwich. that was one of the best treats i had on the mountain!

Consistent over the years.. wonderful customer service, clean, comfy, and modern with dog friendly rooms. Pet rules: two dogs max. $20 x dog per night (3rd night they stay for free. yay!) The small things like having soft plush towels, Mrs. Meyers hand/dish soap and kitchen stocked with cooking oil, spices, and ground coffee is a big plus. Kyle and Krissy are always friendly and responsive over email. We stayed in few different rooms and the cabins here and you can't go wrong with any them. perfect spot. Long wide runs and friendly staff. The only way up is the two seater chair lift..it can be scary, but you don't have to strap in, so it takes off the anxiety of getting off the chair lift on top. Chair J6 is the easiest to get on and off the lift. It slows down a bit on top with a low incline. There are some flat areas on this run, so keep your speed or you're have to shimmy or walk until you get to an inclined. J2 is a two-seater. It lifts up and turns quickly, so make sure to unload as soon as you're on top. Especially for shorter people, the chair lifts up and can knock off your balance.

The creek that runs through the resort, as well as the little pond were beautiful. We never used the gym or spa, but briefly walked through and it looked very nice! It is for sure an older funkier place, that's part of the charm.

I always give places in small towns the benefit of the doubt but this time I thought I would voice my opinion........ We went to breakfast on 7/26 around 10:30am, there was 3 in our party and only 2 tables were occupied. It took 5 minutes to have anyone even greet us to get our drinks, at that time we already knew what we were having, so we ordered all at once. Food came out quickly which was nice. Never through the whole meal did we have anyone come ask how everything was, top off our drinks or ask if we needed anything. WOW I worked in the service industry for years and for a town that makes most their money off tourism I just did not think this was great customer service let alone expected it from a place I have ate at several times (in the bar side) Not sure if the person who took the payment was even our waitress, didn't get an itemized receipt to even see if we were charged correctly or got our discount for being a member. I would completely understand if it was busy and I am always willing to give some grace but this was awful service especially for a Saturday during the "busy" season. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars and not 1 is because we decided to come back for dinner as it is close to where we were staying and didn't have the energy to drive into town. Rob was the bartender and with all 4 tables occupied we sat at the bar and were greeted almost immediately and very well taken care of. Rob was extremely attentive and great at his job. I will probably only be back to the bar area as I have never had an issue with customer service on that side

The sites all seemed to be on the smaller, cramped side and a bit dusty, but overall clean. Deer liked hanging around the campsites as did the wasps. The single occupancy flush toilets were clean and in good condition despite a busy weekend. They had a cleaning chart on the door so people came in frequently to clean it. The good: nice big tables, good fire ring, easy access to water and clean restrooms. Area is pretty, and it's close to the lake. The host is very friendly and informative, and sells fire wood. The bear boxes are big and work well. Sites have pull through parking, so it's very easy to park. Most of the sites have decent shade in the daytime. Short walk to gull lake. The bad: sites are not private at all. Sitting in my site, I can see directly into no fewer than 9 other sites. It's also right off the June Lake Loop, which means cars are very audible at all hours. I was also awakened this morning by a helicopter flying very low at 7 am. It has continued running laps all day. The host informed me that they're replacing power poles with more sturdy ones. This is a good thing, but not for campers in 2020! Be warned. Overall, with the exception of the helicopters, this campground is fine. I'm giving it 4 stars because I really can't hold the helicopter noise against the campground.
