It's fairly easy to talk with her. On one occasion, Nancy sent me an email confirmation of a next-day appointment. Then, when I showed up at the time in her email, she told me that she'd assumed my appointment was later, so she'd booked an extra-long appointment that extended into my time slot by 20-25 minutes. She offered me two choices: 1) reschedule, which would have meant I'd wasted 40 minutes of car travel, plus arranging my day around the appointment; 2) wait until she completed her full appointment with the person whom she'd booked into my time slot despite her confirmation of my appointment less than 24 hours earlier. I wish she had cut short the mistakenly-booked appointment. However, she did not offer that option. I felt that showed a lack of respect for my time. Nancy did offer a verbal apology and a $10 discount on that day's massage. This kind of scheduling mistake may be unusual for Nancy. I'd had several earlier appointments that proceeded without any problems.
